Lestrange Manor, Ireland (Unplottable)

An old disused manor surrounded by abandoned farm land in rural Ireland. Legend has it that the manor has links with one of the Hogwarts founders... but which one? You may also find a little goblin squatting and hoarding his goods.
This is the manor that the Lestrange family have been directed to upon being so highly sought after by the Ministry....

Bletchley Manor, NE Ireland

A lonely, very old manor with extensive, romantic & beautiful gardens but a sadness taints the home after Colm Bletchley died, and Anna his wife left their son, Miles, alone with no one but the house elf.
Secluded, unlikely to be known by many other Wizards except the very few that Miles associates with.

Fuilteach Castle

An ancient, draughty but royal castle, owned by vampire Lord Sanguini Fuilteach. It is located in the remote Irish countryside away from prying eyes and ignorant country folk who might discover the Fuilteach family's true forms.
It is protected by strong vampire magic and is only accessible by those who know how.

Carrow Manor

The home of the superior Death Eaters Amycus and Alecto Carrow, a devious brother and sister who have proven to be some of the most faithful servants of the Dark Lord. The old manor has been in their family for generations.

Yaxley Manor

Belonging to one of the more prominent wizarding families for generations, Yaxley Manor is protected by several charms which deny access to uninvited guests and exposure to the Muggle world. It is located near Cardiff and currently the home of Death Eater Alistair, his wife Lilith and their two daughters.

Bordeaux Vineyard Estate, SW France

A large manor surrounded by countless acres of wine grapes, alternating between red and white for aesthetics. Protective spells exist to keep the unconfirmed house elf abuse rumors minimal. Only close longtime customers and friends frequent the manor itself, although the Bordeaux family often allows Pureblooded customers into the storeroom and highly coveted wine cellar. The entire estate will be bequeathed to Sebastian Bordeaux upon a suitable marriage.

Thails Manor, Greece

A shadow rises from Greece, emerging as one approached until it was immense, looming and forbidding. Yet it had a strange allure that few could ignore when they gazed upon it. The sheer size alone was worth a stare. That wasn’t the dark beauty of it, however. What made it so inspiring was the harsh grace it cut in the scenery, a monster growth of spires and battlements, flat field all around it. The home of the Thails family.

Board Information & Statistics

Board Description
Unplottable Manors and other Wizarding Homes Worldwide
Malfoy Manor isn't the only old Wizarding mansion of the UK - there are a series of old manors owned by the 'upper class' old Wizarding families that are almost as grand and also Unplottable and invisible to Muggles. Only close associates would know how to locate each one.

Not every wizard in the world is wealthy enough to afford a mansion, or even an unplottable place. Those who can not may live among muggles, or in small wizard communities.
