*still disconcerted about her stupid tea leaves and puts aside her cup and just takes to reading all the interpretations under "holly: spring, berry, leaf, tree"*
*hums*

*smiles at Sebastian and Holly*
Your interpretations seem accurate enough...good.
*clears throat*
Everyone who hasn't attempted to interpret their design must try before they leave. The rest of you may mix up your leaves and interrupt again for extra credit. Sometimes the first design in the most obvious, don't be afraid to dig deep in this subject. The results can be astounding.

*Doesn't try to figure out what her leaves mean and mixes them up but doesn't look into her cup*
*flicks through some of the pages in her book to make it look like she is doing some work*

*swirls up his tea leaves and tries again*
*sees a cursive "D" in his cup*
*sarcastically* Urr...this is a tough one...
*smiles ear-to-ear*

Don't give up that easily, students...you'd be surprised what you can learn from this. No, I don't mean learning about interpreting symbols. You can learn about yourselves from it.

*Looks up when the Professor speaks, gives her cup a quick look and sees the leaves are different*
*thinks: looks a little like a ... bird?*
*looks through the book to see if she can find anything*

*laughs in agreement of the description of possible interpretations of a holly leaf shape*
*reading aloud*
A holly leaf can signify bitterness, spite or some item or event that seems brave or in good faith but in actually hides a selfish motive...
Professor, who comes up with these interpretations?

*shrugs* Not a centaur, that's for sure. They wouldn't allow that.
I think that book was written by a Seer.
*smiles slightly* But since we're interpreting about our own life sometimes what the experts say doesn't pertain.

*checks the time and whips back around to face his students*
I'm afraid the time is up, foals. For homework I want you to write about what you saw today and interpret it yourselves. Miss Palmers was right in questioning what the "experts" saw. Write as much or a little as you like, but put actual thought into it. I'll expect them first thing next class on my desk.
You're dismissed.
*smiles at all of them*

*walks in, amazed at Divinitation, the idea of it, but not exactly trusting it*
*sits down toward the back and pulls out her divinitation book, flipping through and examining all the photos and reading the definitons of them*

*trots in, swishing his tail happily*
*spots the new student* Oh, hello there...are you a new filly then? What's your name?
*begins cleaning off his desk and waits for the students to arrive, hopefully with at least a few sentences of homework written from the class previous*
