*Rolls her eyes and nods*

Ummm.. I believe so... seeing as we share a common room.

*Looks over the food laden table, grimaces at a few dishes, and chooses a few vegetables that look safe.*

*Looks over toward Julian out of the corner of her eye and starts to ask.*

Good bo.. *cuts off at the arrival of a girl she believes is a Ravenclaw.*

*Spots Julian and makes her way over, dropping into a seat across from him.*

"Jules, argue with me. Now."

*Laughs coldly, in a rather obnoxious way*

I'm not a trained animal, I can't argue on command. You caught me at a bad time anyway. I don't feel angry at the world, Ravenclaw. Come another day.

*Turns back to his book, muttering to Bronaugh*

Read this, have you? It's from the Restricted Section. It's nothing short of brilliant. Whenever you find yourself without a wand you need alternatives...

*Shoves another bite of pumpkin pudding into his mouth, still in an uncommonly good mood*

*Doesn't even take notice of the other Slytherin and helps herself to an apple*

*Sneers at Julian.*

"What's this? The one day of the year when your not PMSing? And for Merlin's sake it had to be today, good grief."

*Angrily takes a bite out of the apple and chews.*

"Well do something, I'm in a bad mood and I need to take it out on someone who isn't a pathetic first year."

*Remains unmoved, his expression blank*

What do you propose I do? Don't ruin my mood with prattling, Ravenclaw.

*Looks to the left and right*

We're in positions of power. Abuse that power. Tell some Hufflepuff to wipe his vacant stare off his face. They never manage it, it's almost fun.

*Huffs, tossing her apple core onto an empty plate*

"I'll ruin your mood if I want to Jules. What's made you so happy anyway? Get laid?"

*Ponders torturing a 'Puff with some stupid task and lording it over them.*

*Meets her gaze*

As a matter of fact, yes.

*Shrugs*

Not even an older woman who takes to my kind either. It's different.

What made you so irritable? Irritable on you is not pleasant. It's good for me.

*Smirks slightly*

"Not an older woman huh? Well she must have a flobberworm's brain at any rate."

*Looks down and tries to carve into the wooden surface with her nail.*

"Woke up on the wrong side of the bed, fed up with school, tired of being single. Take your pick."

*Ignores all her jabs at him*

All of those things don't add up to much. If that concludes your list than by tomorrow you'll be as chipper as a doxy. It's all temporary.

*Says while looking down*

Tie up some bloke and store him in a broom closet for later. Say if he doesn't comply he'll lose house points. Nothing to it.

*Raises an eyebrow at him.*

"Thats how you get your women huh? Well not all of us are looking for a physical relationship Jules, some people actually want someone they can click with."

*Looks around the Hall and sighs.*

"Doubt I'd find anyone here though, they're all..urgh."

*Looks up and wonders why she's prattling on to Julian of all people about her relationship status.*

*Turns his unnaturally blue eyes on her*

No, I usually just pass by them. It all goes up from there.

*Flips through his book*

Once you're old and gray you can worry about clicking. You Ravenclaws have been fed such strange theories about relationships, it baffles me.

Slytherins get along with Ravenclaws fairly well because both houses think. Ravenclaws think too much. Don't think about the sods around us.

*Still in high spirits, his lips twist into an imitation of a smile*

*Chews her bottom lip and ponders over what he said. Perhaps there was some truth in it, maybe it was time for her to enjoy being young while it lasted.*

"You may be onto something there. Maybe it's time for me to think only about myself for once."

*Grins at him, feeling slight better.*

"Merlin, good advice from a Slytherin whatever next."

*Chuckles slightly at his 'smile' and reaches over to prod his smiling cheeks and jokes*

"Is that your smile? No wonder you always have a moody face with a smile like that."

*Grimaces after realising he just smiled*

I have my moments.

*Brushes her fingers off his cheek, resuming his dry manner*

If you're trying to steal my bronze complexion it won't work. What's wrong with my smile? If I had a reason to grin I would.

*Laughs*

"No thanks, I'm happy being as pale as a sheet of parchment."

*Twirls a loose strand of hair around her finger*

"I dunno, you just look sort of ...odd when you smile. I think you have a face thats meant to frown 24/7. It's weird seeing you..happy, I suppose."

*Pouts slightly in a joking manner*

"Is my presence not enough reason to smile?"

*Shuts his deeply set eyes, pretending to be annoyed although he is not*

Happy isn't out of my vocabulary. And no, your presence isn't quite enough for an idiotic smile.

*Thinks for a second*

I've seen plenty of my veela relatives smile and they look as beautiful as ever. Doesn't matter to me, women love brooding men.

*Pretends to huff again*

"Suit yourself Jules."

*Grins cheekily, her blue eyes creasing at the corners to contain her laughter*

"Well maybe your the black sheep of the family and the only one who doesn't look breathtakingly stunning when you smile."

*Looks around the almost empty hall and decides best to go do Head stuff.*

*Stands up and collects her things*

"Jules it was a pleasant conversation but I think I have to go find a super hot man to lock in a cupboard."

*Winks at him as she leaves and calls over her shoulder.*

"Have fun seducing your fellow Slytherins"
