*Picks up his drink and joins Tallia on the sofa*

*Goes to the table and writes a quick note then pulls on his cloak and disapparates*

I've gone out. Will be back shortly.

*owl swoops by the open window and drops a letter, it landing neatly on the nearest table*


Dear Mr. Crouch,

I would be more than happy to provide you with anything you need as long as it is in my power to offer it. We are all working for the same cause, are we not?

I'm afraid there isn't much in stock, though. We will have to brew it fresh for you. Tell me exactly how much you need and we will get it going. It will be delivered at the place of your choice once it is ready.

And don't worry. This exchange will be kept "off the books".

*Wakes up, reads Barty's note then goes upstairs for a shower*

*Steps out of the shower, dries off and dresses in jeans and a pink and black dress*

*Goes downstairs, pulls on a cloak and goes out*

*Walks in, hangs up her cloak and sits at her desk*

*Pulls out a pile of parchments and a quill and begins to write*

*Apparates in*

Evening Tallia.

I hope you don't mind, I'm going to go straight to bed...or sofa should I say.

*Looks up from the papers and smiles at Barty*

You don't have to sleep on the sofa, Barty. It wouldn't be the first time we've shared a bed.

Anyway, I'm tired too.

*Stands up, takes his hand and leads him up the stairs*

*Lets go of his hand and undresses in a corner before climbing into bed*

*Laughs as he lets himself be led upstairs*

*Politely turns his back as she changes and strips down to his underwear then climbs into bed next to her*

*Falls asleep quickly, the warmth of her body comforting after years of solitude*

*Drifts of into a dreamful sleep*

*Goes back through to the bedroom and kisses the sleeping Tallia's forehead*

*Goes downstairs and pulls on his cloak before going out*

*Wakes up, showers, dresses in a flowing lilac satin dress and flicks her wand at her hair which curls itself up into a loose bun*

*Goes downstairs and heads outside*
