You still distrust him, isn't it possible Dante wants to be your friend without a motive? If you gave up your grudge it would make everything much easier...and you may feel lightened of its burden, too.

Of course I distrust him, he promised me everything, then took it all away! Kris hates him, it would do me no good to be friends with him again.

Kris hates Dante because of you. I've seen you leash him up, Sister, I know you control him for the most part. I'm sure he'd warm up to the idea if you decided to be the bigger person.
