*feels calmer when he touches her forehead, though the pain is still there*
*their voices begin to fade as slowly starts drifting into sleep*

Ah, Draco? Yes, well we think she has been cursed. She is very ill. I have treated her, but need you to tell me if she's come into contact with any objects that may have carried the curse - the more information about it we have, the most effective treatment we can administer. *looks down at the patient and puts a hand over her forehead to calm her mind* I think a friend bought her in, a young man. I do not know his name. But he did know you as he was the one who sent for you. Then he left. *frowns heavily and looks down at her* Yeah, actually - I just took a goblet back to er... er a shop and the person there said it could have been cursed. I bought it thinking it was Merlin's goblet - you know? Drink wisdom and all that. *adds quickly* Not that I need wisdom or anything, was just interested in owning something special. But er... anyway so - she will be alright? I mean, she's my... my... *bites his bottom lip as he stares at her* I'm not leaving here until she wakes. She will wake, won't she?

Yes, I hope so. I need to see this goblet. I will look after her, don't worry. You may stay here if you wish. She is weak but becoming more stable - I do not know when she will wake. Who can I contact regarding the goblet or would you be able to retrieve it for me?

*after a few hours of a somewhat peaceful sleep she starts to toss and turn, groaning and mumbling in between sleep and wakefulness as the healer's spell begins to wear off*
*with eyes still closed her hands begin to search around her, looking for something or someone*
*swallows and winces, her throat still burning*
*whispers almost inaudibly*
So...thirsty...

*passes her a long vial of clear-coloured blood-cleansing potion, the last of the doses that should help clear the poison from her blood - one that can only be administered once the alcohol level has dropped to a safe level *
Sip slowly please.

*slowly lifts her head and does as she's told, her hands shaking as they wrap themselves around the vial* *breathes a little easier as the cool liquid soothes her throat and opens her eyes* *sees Draco and her eyes widen, both panic and anger making her shake even more* *says in a hoarse voice as points at him* What's "he" doing here?

*sighs and runs his hand through his hair as he looks defeatedly at her*
Don't do that, Silv! You were cursed by the goblet - *gestures to the mediwizard* ask him if you don't believe me! When have I ever tried to hurt you? Never. Just... just snap out of it!

*looks confused for a few seconds but the curse is still in effect, if not vaguely, so she glares at him* What are you talking about? You tried to kill me! *knows she's weak and helpless so she turns to the mediwizard, pulling on his arm in desperation* Don't believe what he tells you. Owl the Ministry, tell them what he's done. *tries to remember how she got here and has a sudden vision of Miles...gasps and lowers her voice to almost a whisper* Where's Miles? Did he get to him too?!

*growls in frustration*
I did not, woman!! For Salazar's sake!!
*storms out of the ward, the double doors smacking against the wall and swinging back violently and then runs out into the street outside to get some fresh air and calm himself down*
Gah, what the hell do I do now. Borgin... will kill him!

*watches Draco storm out and calls out with the strongest voice she can manage*
You did!
*turns to the mediwizard as he speaks, suddenly not so sure anymore*
He did, right? It was poison was it not?
*presses the heels of her hands to her temples, her fingers twisting in her hair with frustration*
What the bloody hell is going on!?
*Doesn't know whether to scream or cry*

**sees Draco ahead and drops a dirty-looking envelope down at him, then goes to land on a nearby lamp-post with a hoot**
Dear Master Malfoy, I have information regarding the cursed goblet - I found a book in my research (called Gerkwin the Goblin's Compendium of the 100 Most Historic Goblets - you should read it, very fascinating) It belonged to an old hag from the 1900s who grew sick of her husband's drinking habit so much so, that she plotted to exact revenge on him by projecting an Unquenchable Thirst curse onto his favourite drinking cup. The story goes that he craved alcohol so much that he drank himself to death within 4 hours. This unfortunately was mis-sold to me by a travelling trader who claimed it was Merlin's Cup of Wisdom - he gave me a good deal and it does look very similar to the cup, unfortunately I was wrong and it fell into your hands. The goblet has been seen around East Europe and the cure is to apparently force the Cursed person to drink their own blood from the cup along with large doses of standard anti-poison liquids.
Please accept my sincerest apologies. I hope the above information helps you.

*reads the note twice, then rushes back inside St Mungo's with it clenched in his fist*
*storms back into the ward on level 3 and thrusts the note onto the Medi-wizard's file*
Read that and get to it - NOW! I want her cured NOW! Do it, or I'll do it myself!
*stands there glaring at him and breathing hard*

*watches the two with narrowed eyes*
Can I at least get something to drink? Dying of thirst here!
*sighs deeply and stares up at the ceiling in resignation*
