*Is startled by the sudden thump coming from the front of the shop*
*Wipes her tears with one hand, the other holding her wand with white knuckles*
*Listens for any sounds of Disapparating or footsteps, hearing none. She still can't wrap her mind around the fact that Venus, of all people, had wanted to Obliviate her*
I...Venus?
*Frowns, slowly opening the door, hoping it's not some trick. She gasps when she sees her friend rocking herself, curled on the floor. Still holding her wand, she runs over to Venus, dropping to her knees. She reaches out hesitantly with one hand, trying to pull her friend's arms from around her knees*
*Shakes her head, swallowing more tears at this sight*
No...you're not a fool, V...you're just doing something foolish.

Not according to Potter. Apparently everything im doing is foolish. You should have heard him the other day...He was so upset. He told me he hoped the Dark Lord would kill me. I guess he thought he could change my mind. Said some...horrible things. Made my fiancee angry.
*she started to cry again, still rocking.*
So much anger...and all my fault. I've made so many mistakes...

*Shakes her head in both disagreement and disbelief, reaching for her friend again*
No, don't listen to that git.
*Makes a mental note to metaphorically hex Harry next time she sees him*
He has a bad temper, and says things he doesn't mean...
*Nervously pulls her hair over one shoulder, careful not to poke herself with her wand*
It's not your fault, because you just wanted to do the right thing. But sometimes-
*Pauses, remembering the first days of the DA*
-doing the right thing doesn't mean doing the first thing you think of.
*Holds onto Venus tighter with the one hand, wishing her friend would stop thinking of herself this way*
There's not one witch or wizard that hasn't made mistakes, V. Merlin knows I've made more than enough of them myself.

**It really has been a long time since Oliver was able to visit one of his old haunts. Quidditch has kept him so busy over the past few years, he has barely an time to think.**
**Taking the chance to use his available time away from the Quidditch, he decides to stop in QQS, and have a look around. There isn't much he needs in the way of supplies, just the need to fill his lungs with the old shops air.**
**He pulls the door open, and steps inside, hearing the old bell ring, announcing a potential customer. Even something as little as the bell ringing takes Oliver back to his early days of Quidditch.**

*Students begging parents for brooms, goggles, bats and more have kept Katie busy for a while. All of them brought a smile to her face, reminding her of the good old days when she'd browse the store for hours as a younger witch, awed by everything it held*
*Recording the day's sales, she jumps as the bell up front rings again. Grinning, she jogs through a few aisles, wondering which broom this student will try to convince their parents that they can not live without*
'Allo, welcome to Quality Quidditch Supplies!
*Pauses mid-step, barely recognizing the wizard before her*

**Oliver glances toward the female voice greeting him, a small smile on his lips. He is leery about speaking to many, worried that he'll be hit up for his autograph, or pose for a photo. He doesn't offer much a greeting in return.**
'Lo.
**Barely looked at Katie long enough to register that she's the witch greeting him. He casually stuffs his hands deep into his pockets, continuing on through the shop, old memories rushing back, and he begins to feel a bit nostalgic.**

*Quirks one eyebrow at the wizard's manners*
Mhmm...well, let me know if you need anything then.
*Pauses, rocking back and forth on her feet. She knows him, or thinks she does, but doesn't want to bother him in case she's wrong*
*Opens her mouth to ask his name, snapping it shut as he walks away. Shaking her head, she turns onher heel, pent-up energy rushing through her- she looks around for something to do instead of returning to the sales list*

**Lost in thought, Oliver's fingers pass over a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, it's almost a loving gesture. As he softly strokes the cover of one of his favourite books, his eyes land on Firebolt, and he gazes with admiration at the sleek handle. As if he is in a trance, he floats toward the broom. He's seen many a Firebolt in his professional Quidditch career, but still he rides a Nimbus 2001, and would give anything for a test run on this broom.**
**Oliver tears his attention away from the broom, turning his head to look for the shopkeeper, and get her attention. He clears his throat loudly before nearly shouting.**
"OI! Shopkeep!"

*Jumps a few feet in the air as the booming voice shouts from the silence. For a second, it feels like she's back at Hogwarts and being hollered at by her school mate, Oliver Wood. Biting her tongue, she rolls her eyes before turning to face the wizard*
Yes?
*In a tight voice*
May I help you with something?

**By the time she returns his answer he is already admiring the Firebolt once again, and he nods.**
"Yeah, o'course ya can. Tha's why you're here innit?
**Lifts an extended finger to point out the broom, turning his head to look at the saleswitch. His jaw drops as he recognises the witch, or at least he thinks he does, it's been a while since he has seen her if he's right on guessing who she is.**
"B-Bell?"
**His finger is now aimed at her.**
"Katie Bell?"

*She reluctantly strides over to the demanding wizard, wondering how she hasn't hexed him yet*
*Stopping a few feet away, she puts her hands on her hips and growls*
Merlin, you have no manners. What do you want?
*Eyes widen as he points to her, she still hasn't connected him to her old school mate*
Depends on why you're asking, sir.

**He drops the finger pointing at her to his side, shrugging. He must have mistaken her for his old team mate.**
"You kinda look like someone I used ta play Quidditch wit'. My mistake, sorry 'bout tha'."
**Once again his finger is aimed toward the Firebolt that caught his eye.**
The Firebolt, can I give 'er a go?
**It doesn't matter that he spends most of his days in the air, he wouldn't pass up the hope of riding on one of the world's best brooms.**

*Blinks, suddenly connecting the dots. No wonder he could scare her out her wits with two words*
*Smiles, deciding to get back at him for earlier*
No, you can't. Sorry. Keepers just aren't brilliant enough for that Firebolt.
*Turns, starting to walk awak*
Only Chasers can, because you know, they're just so much better.

**He stands there with his jaw slack as she walks away. It suddenly dawns on him that he was right all along, and his jaw snaps shut. He'd know that cheek anywhere.**
**Just to get under her skin, he gives another little holler.**
"OI! BELL!"
**Stands there with his arms crossed over his chest, his old grumpy expression on his face.**
"Careful o' them Bludgers. Maybe if you'd keep your mind on the game, an' not on the wizards playin' you might 'ave a chance o' winning sometime."

*Jumps again as his voice rings out across the shop, fighting back a snicker at his comment*
Sorry, the temptation to oogle at the Weasley twins was just too strong...
*Turns back to face him, shrugging*
I couldn't help it! But it's ok...I won't tell them you're still jealous over that.
*Winks*
