*She laughs along with him, the mental image of Snape hogging all the students' pumpkin pasties and Honeydukes chocolates almost crystal clear now. Curiously she watches him jog over to the window and let one- two- no, three owls inside, and her eyes widen at the sight of the leftovers.*
Have I mentioned I love your mum yet?
*Jumps up and bounds over next to him, eyeing the note with a bit of suspicion.*

*Grins, nodding to her.*
I believe you might have mentioned it, yes.
*Passes the note over to her, digging in the basket with his other hand, tongue poking out in concentration.*
She forgot!?
*Eyes widen, bottom lip pouts out. Whenever his mother sends him a parcel of food she usually hides his Favourite treats in it. Continues to dig further in the basket.*
*Stops suddenly, a small smile creeping on his lips as he pulls out a crinkling cellophane bag containing licorice flavored jelly crows.*

*Takes the note from his hand. and swallows* She- well- er... *Quirks one eyebrow as he digs through the bag, and shakes her head sighing as he pulls the smaller bag out. She looks back to the note, re-reads it three times to make sure she isn't seeing things, and takes one small step back from the wizard and his candy.* What are those?

*Is raising one to his mouth and he stops like a deer caught in headlights.*
What?
*Pops it into his mouth, eyes rolling into the back of his head.*
Mmm...
*Shivers a little as he swallows, digging in the bag for another.*
Mum always sends my Favourite treat along. They're Licorice Jelly Crows.
*Holds the bag out to her, his expression vying that of a school boy in Honeydukes for the first time.*
Want one?

*Bites her lip to keep from snickering at his reaction to the sweets.* I don't think I've ever had one...and I'm not that much of a licorice fan, actually. *Shrugs, grinning.* More for you then, eh? * and backs away towards the sofa* I'd rather not get between a wizard and his sweets, of course.

*Before following her back to the sofa he taps the basket with his wand, sending out to the kitchen.*
Damn straight.
*Inches toward the sofa, chewing up a few more crows.*
So...
*Drops down on the sofa, setting the bag of candy on his lap with a crinkle.*
...here we are.
*Leans his head back, eyes dropping a little from the big day they had. Running around at his parents house with her was a blast. He was thrilled to see the new addition to the Bowtruckles, instead of two there is now three living happily in an ash tree on the edge of his parents property.*
*Chuckles softly, turning his head to face her.*
Dad's a hoot. Betting against me in our Quidditch match.

*Smiles as he drops onto the sofa, scrunching her nose at the crows. She's tired but content, positive that they'll be seeing more of his family now that the "first meeting" is over.*
They're all a hoot.
*Mumbles happily, shifting to lean against him*
I've bet against you!
And lost!
You can't win every match, love. One of these days, just you wait...it'll happen.
*Blinks*
Your poor mum, living with your dad, Leighton and you.
*Thoughtful expression*
I wonder how she's so nice, even after all these years...

*Sighs contentedly when she leans against him, her weight and warmth comforting.*
I dunno... good sense of humor, and loads of patience. I guess we all were a little rambunctious while we were growing up. I've got quite a few years on Daisy, but she dragged in just as much, if not more mud, and little creatures as I did.
Still do.
*Lifts his arm over her head, resting on the back of the sofa.*

*Smirks*
Daisy's wonderful, she seems so sweet! That's why I only called the wizards in the family.
*Curls under his arm and against his side, making a mental note to owl Daisy sometime soon. She wanted to get to know the witch a bit more- not just because she's Greyson's sister, but also because she was so nice.*
*Adds cheekily*
A little rambunctious?

*Grins tiredly, lifting his hand, and tousling his hair lightly.*
Yeah, well, what can I say? Boys will be boys, and Quidditch is a way of life, right? A least mum is interested in the sport.
*Shrugs. Some of his friend's mothers weren't as understanding about Quidditch, or a lot of things boy's got into while growing up.*
She thought she finally had her frilly little girl when Daisy was born, but... well you saw... she took after her brothers and father a bit more.

*Smiles as brightly as one can when they're tired*
I guess there's nothing wrong with that.
*Nods*
My mum thought she finally had the innocent little witch who'd fall in love with fashion trends and beauty salons.
*Snickers and holds up one hand, her pointer finger and thumb mere centimeters apart*
She was just a bit off...

*Nods, stifling a yawn.*
Thank God for that too, I dunno what I'd do if you were one of those high maintenance girlie girls.
*Rolls his eyes, shuddering.*
*Glances over at her, smiling mischievously.*
I have a hard time dealing with those that think they're prettier than me.

*Looks up at him with a mock curious expression*
Oh...well I didn't know you thought of yourself as pretty. I was thinking, for some strange reason, that you'd use words such as big, muscular, amazing-
*Shifts, stretching to whisper in his ear as one hand slides across his chest*
-and incredibly-
*Leans back and looks right into his eyes*
-stubborn.
*Shrugs playfully before she stands infront of the sofa and reaches for his hand*
But I guess I wrong. Anyways, c'mon- I'm not spending another night on the sofa instead of our bed.
Or I'm not spending another night on you when you're on the couch.

*Grins sleepily, eyes drooping as he looks up at her, and grabs her hand.*
Mmm... bed.
*Lazily pushes himself off the couch, sliding an arm around her waist.*
Let's go, I'm bushed.
*Tugs lightly on her hand as he turns to amble down the hall toward the bedroom.*

*Follows him sleepily down the hallway and as they enter the room, comments*
I think you're getting a bit too old for Quidditch nowadays, love.
*Smiles, not admitting the match at his parents' house wiped her out as well- while she fights back a yawn*
If only Oliver could see me now, or Ange!
*Snorts at the thought of her school friends/Quidditch Captains seeing her so worn out from earlier.*
Angelina Johnson-
*Mumbles, with the bed in sight her energy's draining ridiculously fast*
-you wouldn't know her. Captain a few years ago. Not as bad as Oliver, but tougher than Harry...
