*Smiles, turning to walk to bath to wash before she leaves. As Greyson sinks into the couch with a sigh, she turns back with a frown*
What's wrong, love?

*Looks up at her with sad eyes.*
Hmm? Oh, nothing, just disappointed that the wand shop isn't going to be open in time for the new school term.
*Rests his elbow on the arm of the couch, laying his hand in his cheek. This is the time of year he always looks forward to, even as a child himself. All those excited new faces lighting up when they hold their first wand.*

*Bites her lip, wishing she could make things easier for him*
*Walks over, pausing before sitting in his lap. She puts on hand under his chin, turning his face towards hers*
It's not your fault. This just means we'll need to make sure it's ready before next term, that's all.
*Silently wonders if they'll still be together then, praying to the Gods they will be*
You could help me at the shop today, if you want. They may not be wands, but you know there are students who'll be begging their parents for a new broom before school.

*Lights up at the thought of spending the day with her, nothing would make him happier. As quick as the smile lands on his lips it is erased, and replaced with a frown. He can not spend the day with her, he needs to get the shop fixed up as soon as humanly possible. Thank goodness he can do magic, otherwise his job would take forever.*
I wish I could, but I can't.
*Shoulders sag a bit.*
The shop needs me, and the sooner I get to work the sooner I can open.

*Shrugs*
Alright. I'll see what all needs to be done at the shop, and if I can, I'll stop by and help. It's not that far and I can go back if it gets too busy.
*Pauses*
Well, if that's ok with you of course. I...you don't have to it all by yourself if you don't want to.

*Offers her a little smile, perfectly willing to see her any chance he can.*
I'd like that.
*His head shakes a little.*
I've some help. I offered a young wizard a job with me, and he comes around to help fix up what needs to be repaired.
*Tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.*
I'd love to see you though, break up the monotony of my day.

*Smiles, glad she'll have something to do when the crowd slows for a while*
*Leans in and kisses his cheek. She pulls back for a second before grinning and kissing him softly on the lips*
I should go now, though...you mind if I wash up here?
*Pauses, adding*
And I'm glad you have a young wizard to help. He'll get a lot more done than you will, old man.
*Winks*

*Leans into her little kisses, wishing they had all day every day together.*
Mhmm. Go ahead.
*Shoos her off with a little hand gesture.*
*Scoff, and swats her bum lightly as she teases him.*
I'd run circles around that young lad any day.

*Gasps, turning to poke her tongue out at him*
You wish you could, but admit it...
*Blinks innocently*
You're getting older everyday, and you're getting weaker.
*Semi-rushes off to wash up before she leaves for the shop, a smile on her face*

*Roars with laughter, throwing his head back, and calls after her.*
Keep in mind, sweetums, that the same is happening to you as well.

*Jaw drops, not believeing he just started that arguement*
Yes Ollivander, I'm getting older.
But you can't teach an old wizard new tricks.
*Fights down a smirk as she pauses in the doorway to the bathroom*
Witches however, we're like wine. The older we get, the better we are.

*Blinks at her, and bites his tongue. It isn't gentlemanly to talk about a witches age. He replies simply.*
The riper the berry, the sweeter the juice.
*Winks at her, and blows her a kiss. There is not a chance in hell he's going to push her on the age issue.*

*Narrows her eyes playfully, as she knows there's something he's holding back*
Go on, say it. I dare you.
*Thinks of several ways to get him back if he says what she thinks he'll say. She summons her clothes from her place as an afterthought, before placing her hands on her hips*

*Blinks innocently at her, shaking his head.*
I've nothing to say.
You've left me speechless.
*Beams at her, lifting his hand, and waving it at her as if to shoo her into the bath.*
Hurry up, babe, or all the children will have broken into your shop, and gotten their grimy fingerprints all over your lovely brooms.

*Eyes widen, knowing that could actually happen. She knows what she would do if she couldn't by a broom as a student, and she hopes there isn't a witch or wizard with her kind of temper waiting for her at the shop*
Alright, alright- I'm going!
*Rushes into the bathroom to wash up*
