*walks into the owlry, letter in hand*
*ties the short letter around an owl's foot making sure that he copied the address properly*
*watches his bi-weekly letter home detailing the fine weather in England and his school marks fly out the window*
*stares out the window a moment longer, trying to come up with better ways to get back at Julian and Bronagh*

*Strolls quietly into the owlery, her mind on school issues. Her eyes are focused on the owls up high, and she doesn't spot Leo standing there as she walks over to lure an owl down.*
*She spots a barn owl, and begins to sing a little song to it. Her beautiful voice filling the owlery. The owl flutters down from it's perch, and lands right in front of her. Still singing, quietly now, she ties the letter to her aunt on the owl's tiny leg, and sends it off.*

*doesn't hear Bronagh enter but hears her voice as she sings*
*is lost in the beautiful sound for a couple of seconds before he fully comprends who it is, a momentary state of bliss stealing over him*
*hardens up as he turns around to face her*
*tries to make his voice sound relaxed, nonetheless*
Hello, there.

*Hears Leo's unmistakable voice and stiffens up. She takes an unnoticeable deep breath before she turns to face him, and applies a sweet smile to her lips, cheeks slightly red from realizing she had an audience.*
Hello. I d-didn't see you there.
*Speaks in a light happy tone, taking a few light steps in the direction of the exit, sure that things are about to go downhill from here, and wishing to leave before that happens. It isn't Leo she doesn't like, but his too sweet, too naive girlfriend Selene.*

*shrugs non-commitally*
I do believe I've heard you sing before.
*really wishes to no longer be at odds with Bronagh, he suspected that it was Julian behind all of her acts anyway*
*tries a compliment... *
Certainly not an unpleasant sound...

*Gives a small tight lipped smile, nodding.*
You are correct, I've sang for you before.
*Stops edging toward the exit, unable to believe her ears, and stands there for a few short seconds, letting his words sink in.*
Thank you.
*She says sweetly.*
If I recall correctly you seemed to enjoy it the first time as well, on the astronomy tower, remember?
*Isn't in any hurry to leave anymore.*
How are classes going along for you?
*Tries to keep some conversation flowing between them.*

*licks his bottom lip nervously*
*curses himself inwardly for his weakness*
Yes, I do remember....
*voice trails off*
*leans up against the window frame casually*
Well enough, I suppose. Nothing to really remark on. And you?

*Wraps a finger in a stray curl.*
Oh you know, same ol' same ol'. Can't wait to be finished, though.
*Relief washes over her face at the thought of graduating.*
On to bigger and better things, I suppose.
*Bites lip, beginning to feel nervous.*

*face lights up a bit with a look of comprehension*
That's right.... I nearly forgot that you are a year ahead of me....
*is feeling quite calm now*
*even begins to appreciate the pretty picture that she makes against the sky outside of the door behind her*
What're you planning to do after Hogwarts?

*Shrugs. She has no idea of what she's going to do after graduation, and is starting to become worried about that.*
Not a clue. I should probably get started on finding something. I'd like to sing, but...
*Doesn't finish her thought she sure that he isn't interested in hearing it anyway.*
Another year for you... I think I'd die if I had to wait that long.
*Slips a finger under her Slytherin sweater sleeve, and runs it across her wrist, scrunching up her nose at the thought of another year of schooling.*

*smiles, almost kindly*
You'd do well with singing... but, perhaps something else....
*shrugs lightly*
Another year isn't so bad. Gives me more time to decide what I want to do. There is always some fun to be had here as well....

*Crosses the owlery to the window he is standing in front of, and looks out over the grounds.*
I'll admit I will miss the scenery when I'm gone.
*Leans in the window on her elbows, laying her head in a hand, enjoying the feel of the breeze in her hair.*
It sure is something to look at.

*feels his breath catch in his throat momentarily as he can't help but admire her figure while she bent just so*
*composes himself after a few seconds and a couple of deep breaths*
That is for sure.
*isn't really looking at the scenery*
*clears his throat quietly*
Er... Bronagh, I hope that there are no hard feelings between us.... I mean, it just.... didn't work out...

*Turns her head in his direction a soft smile on her lips.*
It's all water under the bridge. No big deal.
*Faces the grounds again, and stands suddenly.*
Let's go have some fun.
*Without warning she grabs his hand and tugs on his hand, obviously wanting him to follow her.*

*is caught completely off guard by her actions*
*stunned, he followers her*
*calls out with a laugh in his voice*
What sort of fun, exactly?
