*Nods as Dennis gives their names.*

Well Dennis, Colin, I'm Livvie, and this is Aurora.

*Giggles*

-his eyes slightly widen in embarrassment. while he loved his little brother dearly, Dennis wasn't helping the situation any by being so overly friendly.-

Oh for the love of Merlin, I hope I wasn't really that bad when I first got to Hogwarts

-he cringes slightly at thinking back on how he was once so camera happy in his first year and how people used to kind of avoid him a bit for his enthusiasm-

-not wanting to just stand there like a lump, he holds out his hand to the girls for a shake while trying not to make too big of a deal out of it-

'ello, I'm Colin.

[Olivia Lillywhite]

*Lightly she places her dainty hand in Colin's.*

[Aurora Brightmore]

*giggles taking his hand*

Aurora. You probably dont recognize me. Im from Ravenclaw!

[Olivia Lillywhite]

*Nudges Aurora, giggling.*

*Her eyes pass over Colin, and she can't help think how cute he is.*

So Colin, Dennis what year are you?

*Is curious to know if Colin is in her year.*

-takes Livvie's hand and gives it a good and proper shaking-

Hello

-nods his head curtly to her-

-then takes Aurora's hand, shaking it in the same fashion-

It's a pleasure to meet you.

-he nods to Aurora then realizes that maybe he showed a little too much favor to Aurora with his comment and tries to back peddle his way out of it.-

-turns back to Livvie-

I mean it's a pleasure meeting both of you.

-a bead of sweat starts to drip down his forehead-

Merlin, I'm so terrible at this.

-at that moment, all he wanted to do was go hide under his bed covers.-

Girls can be a bit scary.

-he thought to himself-

[Dennis Creevey]

-blurting out again-

Oh, I'm in my 5th year. I know, I know. I don't really look it, buy yeah, I'm in my 5th. It's because I'm so short that no one ever believes me when I tell them that. But, really I am you know.

-is about to spill out all of Colin's information when he feels his brother gently tapping his foot against his shoe.-

[Colin Creevey]

-mortified that Dennis will start spilling out so much information that he'll tell them all about how he had gotten petrified in his first year, he taps Dennis's shoe and shakes his head ever so slightly. the look of pale terror of being around girls still engraved upon his face.-

Um. . . , I'm in my 7th year.

[Olivia Lillywhite]

*Doesn't take her eyes from Colin as Dennis rapidly fires out his grade. When he finishes she quickly flicks her icy blue eyes to him, and gives a small grin before turning her eyes back to Colin.*

That's nice.

*Groans inwardly upon hearing that Colin is a year ahead, and will be leaving the castle soon.*

Why do I have such ruddy luck?

*Manages to put on a bright smile.*

So you must be excited to be graduating so soon, eh?

[Colin Creevey]

-looks down at the ground, hoping there would be some kind of magical words appearing there to help him know what to say. there wasn't.-

-he looks back up, kind of embarrassed about what he's about to say next.-

Well Colin, you'll have to come clean with this one. Everyone's gonna know soon enough.

I uh. . . ,

-he looks away again. takes a deep breath, closes his eyes and decides it's best to get it over quickly-

I'm not able to graduate this year.

-upon finally saying out loud what he had been dreading all year long, a small weight was lifted off his shoulders. but his confession still didn't make him feel any more at ease.-

You see,

-he looked back up at Livvie, hoping she wouldn't think him a git.-

My father was really sick earlier on this year and I had to go home to take care of him.

Oh, he's all better now. But. . . I've had to miss so much of my schooling that it'll be imposable to catch up.

I got my the official notice a few weeks ago.

[Dennis Creevey]

-smiling up at his beloved big brother and patting him on the back-

Oh it's OK Colin, I'm kind of happy that you're staying on an extra year. That means we'll have more time to do things together.

Hey Colin, do you want to go catch some tadpoles down by the lake this weekend? You know, just like we used to do.

-a big grin beams from his face as he thinks about all the fun they have together.-

[Colin Creevey]

Good ol' Dennis. At least he always knows how to cheer a bloke back up again.

-Colin was grateful for his little brother for many things. they were as close as brothers could be. and it was in instances such as these that Dennis proved himself useful. for no matter what, Colin always knew that he could count on his little brother to help put him back in the ease of just being himself.-

After all, it was for a very good cause that I wound up missing so much school.

-Colin finally found a good enough reason to reclaim his pride-

Yeah, we'll do something together this weekend. That's a promise.

-he smiles at Dennis and then back at the two girls. it seemed strange how he wasn't feeling so much at odds anymore.-

So, about that practice match?

-he beamed-

I'd be deighted. It should help take my mind off my potions essay I have to write!

*smiles*

How about it Livvie? Think we can take 'em on?

*Turns to Aurora, smiling brightly.*

Yeah, let's show these two how to really do it.

*Slips her arm around Aurora's, tugging gently as she steps past Colin, brushing against him lightly.*

Excuse us, ladies first if I'm not mistaken.

-Colin was all ready for a fun bit of practice with the two girls. But once he felt Livvie brush up against him, his nerves began to unravel all over again.-

-His knees went weak. His palms began to sweat. And he felt a bit of nausea in the pit of his stomach.-

She touched me. -His thoughts turned his cheeks bright red.-
