*Greyson steps out of the Three Broomsticks just behind Jolie, his hand still holding fast to hers. He still feels terrible about his encounter with Roger, but the fresh air relaxes him some.*
Anywhere you would like to go, pretty lady?
*Walks along at a slow pace, his feet dragging a bit along the cobbles.*

*smiles up at Greyson, shrugs*
Anywhere's fine with me, love.
*she tries to keep thoughts of the night's events from her mind, to be contemplated later. She doesn't want to remember, but can't quite forget it, either...*

*Shrugs, he's not really concerned with trying to come up with somewhere to go, he's just content on walking along with Jolie.*
Let's just walk for a bit, lemme cool off.
*Strolls along slowly, hand in hand with Jolie. Trying to distract himself from the encounter with Roger he asks.*
So what made you come around? I mean why did you decide that I'm good enough now, I thought you didn't really care for me.

*nods, completely fine with it*
That's probably best.
*shrugs, smiling*
I don't know, really... I've... honestly, I've been fond of you since we met. You just... infuriated me, and I didn't feel I could admit it.
*blushes*
I mean... I don't know.
*decides to stop now, before she makes more of an idiot of herself*

*Laughs loudly, knowing that he can be a bit of prick, but deep down he's really a big teddy bear.*
Well I can admit that the first time we met I was completely dazzled by you. I even hav... had a girlfriend at the time, and still, you stunned me.
*Thoughts touch on Willow for a moment, but float away just as quickly as they came. Jolie seems to be a great distraction for Greyson, this is the first time he has felt whole for a while now. The warmth of her hand is so comforting he can hardly believe she's a Death Eater. The word echos through his mind.*
Death Eater.
*Flashes a glance down to their hands, and still can't believe that Jolie is a Death Eater. She feels perfectly safe, and harmless. He takes another glance at her beautiful Veela features, thinking to himself.*
If the grim reaper looks and act like this, then I'd follow him anywhere.
She's just as sweet as Will...
*Cuts the thought off, he can't compare the two as they are two completely different witches. No, he has to judge Jolie on what he already knows of her, and besides being a Death Eater, and attacking him, she's pretty sweet. Also from what he remembers she didn't attack Jane in Honeydukes, no, Jane attacked her first, Jolie only defended herself, he would have done the same thing.*
I'm happy you came 'round, you make me feel like somethings are worth waking up for.

*smiles up at Greyson, slightly guiltily*
Thank you. I... I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize that you were... taken, at that point in time.
*her smile blossoms from guilty to thoroughly elated at his last statement*
Thank you so much. I have to admit, I was wrong about you. I didn't realize, at first, just how wonderful you really are. I... don't admit to being wrong often. So... well, I hope that tells you something. You're... amazing, Greyson.

*Shakes his head, he doesn't want her to feel guilty, she didn't do anything wrong.*
No reason to apologize, the subject never came up, how were you to know.
*He smiles brightly at her compliment, feeling that he was right in assuming that she's just a sweetheart.*
Jolie, may I ask you something?
*Stops walking, confusion set in on his face.*

Thank you. I don't know, honestly. I might have suspected...
*nods, frowning slightly as they stop walking*
Of course. Anything.

*Turns his body, facing her.*
Jolie why did you choose to..
*Tilts his head forward so that if anyone passes them by he won't be over heard, his voice lowering.*
..to be a Death Eater?
*Regains his tall posture, looking intently at her beautiful face.*
I mean... I'm confused as to why such a lovely witch as yourself would opt for that... You're so sweet... You seem to care so much...
Why?
*Tries to envision Jolie at the end of a Killing Curse, and cannot do it. It's impossible for him to see her like that.*

*her frown deepens in surprise*
I... I don't...
*sighs, trying to collect her thoughts enough to answer*
I... my family, as far back as I can trace, have practiced...
*looks around, drops her voice, just in case*
...dark magic. I just... It always intrigued me. I wanted to be a part of it, I always have. There's just... something about it that has always appealed to me. And the Ministry. It's so corrupt. It condones so many things that ought not happen, that prove just how weak of a system of government it is. The Muggles. They fear us, Greyson. If they had their way, they would wipe us all out! The Dark Lord will make sure that, if it comes down to us and them, we come out on top! And the Dark Lord... he's so... powerful, so awe-inspiring! I... I feel honoured to have the chance to serve him, to be a part of something this grand; to be able to change the world! For the better! It may not seem like it now, to most, but this is what our world needs! It needs to wake up, and realize that what the Ministry thinks is best for all of us isn't really that at all! The Dark Lord... he could make things how they need to be. I... I want to help bring the wizarding world back to what it was supposed to be, from the beginning. To preserve it, as it must be. This is the only way.

*He leans forward to hear her, his eyes watching her lips as she speaks, he listens to every word keenly.*
*When she finishes he just stands there gazing at her, thinking over what he just heard. He understands the draw to dark magic, it's a very tempting subject to study, he can admit that throughout his years there have been books he has come across that were dark in nature, and they drew him in, fascinated him almost as much as wand-lore. She also has a point about the Ministry. Where were they when his uncle disappeared? Why is their way the "right" way?*
*As the thoughts swim around through his mind, he offers her a smile, moving closer to her, and wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her into his muscular chest.*
You have some very valid points, I think I understand somewhat better, thank you for letting me in on a bit of your mind.
*The bit she said about the muggles comes swimming to the forefront of his thoughts causing him to think back about all of the stories he has heard while growing up. Muggles attacking a witch or wizard because the muggles caught the victim using magic. In some cases the stories spoke of death by horrible means. Could it be true that the muggles would really try to wipe out the entire magical community?*

*smiles as he pulls her close*
I'm glad you've seen the light.
*is still thinking over what she just said, and hoping she didn't sound to deluded by her love for the Dark Lord's cause- or, as she feared she might have come off, a bit crazy*

*Rests his cheek against her soft hair, still thinking over all that she said. More and more of her words start to make sense.*
Let's get outta here.
*Tilts his head down to look at her.*

And go where?

*Greyson tilts his head down to her, kissing the tip of her nose lightly. He smiles, and looks into her eyes, seeing nothing but a loving and warm witch in them.*
We can go to my place.
*He suggests, and adds quickly.*
If you would like that is. We can sit on my sofa, have a glass of wine, and enjoy each other's company. We can talk about the about the weather for all I care, I just don't want to let you go yet for the night.
*Lifts his hand to her chin, rubbing his thumb against the line of her jaw, and inches his lips toward her. He moves slowly to gauge her reaction, and hopes that she is accepting of wish to kiss her.*
