Glancing back and forth, Daisy made her way back home. She went into her shop, not bothering to turn her sign around to open. She needed to do something... So she slipped upstairs to her tiny apartment. She unlocked the door to her house and slipped inside, drawing a deep breath, feeling safe at home. She grinned lightly as he cat bounded over to nuzzle her legs happily in a welcome home.
She reached down to warmly stroke the cat. "'Lo Sasha... Good girl... I know I'll get you some food soon here." She looked over, grinning as she saw the tiny owl she had recently acquired. "Good evening to you too Vincent." She grinned playfully as the pygmy hooted and flitted happily over to her.
She reached up and the tiny owl landed on her hand. She drew him closer and stroked his back warmly. "I need something from you... I need you to find Harry Potter and take an owl to him... I don't know exactly where he is but I know you'll be able to find him... Somehow..."
And with that, she moved quickly over to the table and brought out her parchment and quill, loading it up and beginning to write her note. She drew a deep breath, it was a gutsy move... What if Vincent got intercepted? But she had to take that chance... So she finished the letter and tied it to her lovely little owl's leg. "There you are buddy... Take care and be carefull please..." She spoke softly to him and held him gently before moving to the window and letting Vincent out. "Go Vincent... And please have good luck..."

Dear Miss Daisy,
I am quite sure that you will remember me. Your winning hero, Gilderoy Lockhart. I have gone into hiding and I am in desperate need of your assistance. You may be the only one that can help me. A strange German is hunting me, and I would like you to have him arrested for me. I believe he means to do me harm. I would of course be able to handle the situation myself, but I believe it is for the good of the nation that I remain hidden for the time being.
Yours gratefully forever,
Gilderoy Lockhart

*Daisy receives the letter, smiling warmly at the owl that brought it, and offering it some water and a place to rest while Vincent, who had just arrived with the latest letter, bombarded it with hoots and greetings. Daisy smiled warmly and left the two owls to it before opening the letter and reading it quietly. Her brows furrowed a little bit the more she read. Imediately she grabbed the quill that she had laid aside. It likely wouldn't be good for her to be involved in this but how could she not? This was Gilderoy Lockhart... And he needed her help? Alright that was fishy but she wrote back anyway.
Dear Gilderoy...
I am not sure I am one who can help you well. Do you know his name? You should send an owl to the Ministry and tell them that someone is hunting you... I shudder to even write that... But I'm sure they could help you much better than I! Please stay safe! Who is it that you think is hunting you? Maybe I know of him...
Again please stay safe and stay away from him...
Daisy

Dear Miss Daisy,
I would be only too keen to contact the Ministry myself in this matter, but I am not completely sure of how far this mans influence spreads. He may be able to intercept any owl I send there. You, my dear friend, are the only person that I can trust right now. I do not know his name. He is German, with an accent and a long black hair. He carries a cane with a snake-head ornament. You will recognise the greasy fellow if you see him I am sure. No doubt an illegal immigrant of some type.
Yours desperately,
Gilderoy Lockhart

Dear Gilderoy,
Oh goodness! This sounds like quite the issue indeed! I will go to the ministry myself with this information and tell them about this man who is hunting you. I have to go in any case to talk to a friend of mine on some findings I have... I'm afraid they're not much but I have to speak with someone there about them.
I will tell them of the danger you're in personally! Until they manage to help you... Please stay out of danger's path... Please stay safe and careful! I will do what I can to help you of course!
Your friend, Daisy

Daisy was near in tears as she returned again to her apartment. There was just too much going on! She wasn't certain how she could handle it all... But somehow she knew she must. Sasha, her beloved cat, heard Daisy come in and dashed over to rub against her legs in her customary greeting. Daisy fought a smile into place and ducked down to stroke the cat gently. Venus was supposed to come visit her sometime today to go over their plan... And she simply had to be ready for that.
A quick glance around her apartment made her cringe. She hadn't been keeping up on it very well the last week or so, and thus she began cleaning quickly. She winced a little as she also recalled what she told Gawain. She would try to help get Gilderoy to go back to St. Mungo's where he would be safe. She sighed a little and looked around for Goliath before scrawling a quick note.
'Dear Gilderoy,
I have spoken with the head Auror at the ministry, and I wonder if you would meet me at the Top Meadow this evening to speak on what I've found out.
Your friend,
Daisy.'
After signing her name, she sent it off with Vincent. It wasn't the most together note she had ever written, but it was to the point. Top Meadow would be secluded enough for the two of them to talk... She only hoped he would agree to meet her there and not give too much of a fuss to the idea of returning to the place he was safe...
But for now. She put that from her mind. She needed to get ready for this talk with Venus. She whisked around the apartment tidying up as quickly as she could. She wanted it to be at least presentable when her friend stopped in.

Dear Daisy
I would be glad to meet you and hear all about what you have discovered. I shall see you at the meadow as you ask. I am looking forward to it!
Your hero,
Gilderoy Lockhart
