Malfoy's Black and White Ball

[Lucius Malfoy]

*The mansion had been prepared in keeping with the theme of the ball. The garden where most of the guests would gather had been filled with white blossoming flowers



A candle lit decked area had been constructed to brighten the darkening sky.



Further away the lake had been lined with candles to provide a picturesque and comfortable setting for anyone to relax.



The doors opened into a lounge area where guests were welcome to help themselves to drinks of wine, champagne, whisky and brandy with various mixers and soft drinks.





A quieter seating area away from the bar was also prepared with a more traditional style.





Classical music plays softly in the background to welcome the arriving guests.*

[Grimley the House elf]

*He scurries around putting out glasses and setting up the bar for anyone who arrives, hoping to serve as they come.*

[Arcturus the Ghost]

oooooOOO a party! How splendid Lucius!

*floats around the lounge area, eyeing the nibbles and drinks laid out*

I suppose you want me out the way as usual, hmmm?

[Lucius Malfoy]

*He eyes the ghost disapprovingly.*

I am sure that the members from the Ministry would be quite happy for you to stay. I am intending to portray myself as accepting of all walks of life. Or death as the case may be.

[Ken Bonobo]

*Ken arrives alone, wishing he had tried to arrange someone to come with earlier and feeling a bit silly about it all. He is uncomfortable in his suit as opposed to his usual robes but is happy to wear it in the name of fun.*

*He walks up through the garden and makes his way to the manor, knocks on the door nervously, never having met the Malfoy's before.*

[Grimley the House elf]

*The elf scampers towards the door and pulls it open to see the wizard waiting.*

Come in come in sir. Have a drink. I can get you a drink! What would you like sir? Please come meet the master!

[Ken Bonobo]

*Ken enters as the elf suggests and smiles at him. He peers around the room hoping to spot his host.*

I'll take a drink later thank you. I'll come find you when I'm ready.

[Daphne Greengrass]

*Daphne apparates outside the Manor's gates, and makes her way toward the front door. She knocks, and smoothes her new dress while she waits*

[Lucius Malfoy]

*He strides coolly towards the door, his pimpstick in hand, and once he reaches his guest he holds out his other to shake.*

Mr Bonobo I believe. Welcome to my home. I trust you will find it to your liking.

Just tell the elf if you need anything.

[Grimley the House elf]

*Again he hurries to answer the door, nervous that any tardiness will end up in punishment.*

*He pulls it open.*

Hello Miss Greengrass. Come come.

*He waves his arms gesturing inside.*

Can Grimley get you a drink?

[Daphne Greengrass]

*She smiles at Grimley as he ushers her in*

Hello, Grimley. Yes, please. Anything at all will be fine.

*Gazes around, smiles from Lucius to the wizard she doesn't yet know*

[Grimley the House elf]

*He runs off towards the bar, and almost trips over his own feet trying to think of what cocktail to make.*

[Ken Bonobo]

*He accepts the handshake.*

Pleasure to be here sir. Glad to meet you at last.

*He notices the woman arrive and returns a friendly smile.*

[Andromeda Tonks]

*Andromeda arrives outside, and takes a deep breath. She has left little Teddy with her husband [upon the latter's insisting that she attend the party, in the hopes that she can gain valuable information], and hopes that everything is going alright at home.*

*She reaches the doors after they close, and knocks, biting her lip nervously*

[Lucius Malfoy]

*He looks around, annoyed that the elf is not at the door, and pulls it open himself.*

Welcome welcome. Come in won't you.

*He gestures to the other guests.*

This is Daphne Greengrass and I'm sure you know Mr Bonobo from the office.

*He takes Daphne's hand and gives it a small kiss.*

Good to see you again my dear.

This is Andromeda Tonks, you may have heard of her.
