*Daphne appears in Hogsmeade, pulling her cloak tightly around herself for warmth. She takes in the night air in a deep breath, and exhales, gazing around. She feels... peaceful.*
*She walks through the all but deserted street, peering in shop windows, her heels clicking on the pavement as she does so. She hums a tune under her breath.*

*Greyback stalks through the back alleys of Hogsmeade, feeling terribly restless and itching for a hunt. The night is chilly to any other being out on the streets, but as he scans the darkened sky with his piercing eyes, the chill escapes him.*
*Looking around the corner of one alley, Greyback spies a familiar figure strolling along the walkway, occasionally pausing at a few shops' windows. Narrowing his eyes he pulls back into the darkness of the alley and waits for them to pass.*

*Daphne continues her stroll. She has an eerie feeling; as if she is being watched. But, she can't see anyone. The hairs on the back of her neck begin to stand, and her breathing becomes shallow. She decides to confront her fear...*
H-hello? Is- is someone there?
*She gulps, instantly regretting her decision*

*He smiles coldly as the tense voice reaches his ears, and knows exactly who the figure under the cloak is with disturbing clarity.*
Little Miss Greengrass, eh?
*Silently he backs up against the wall of shadowed alley, eyes shining in the moonlight. Greyback slowly slides his large hands against the stone wall behind him, lowering himself into a hunter's crouch.*
Daphne...
You're not scared of me now, are you?
*Growls, deep voice rumbling in his chest.*

*Her heart stops in shock momentarily, as she processes the voice. No... not... Greyback... She manages to stammer a reply*
N-no...
*She knows it's a terrible attempt at lie, but can't bear to admit it to him*

*Snickers at the younger witch, waiting for her to make any sort of move first*
Oh, and now you're lying.
*Pauses, dragging his nails across the bricks lightly*
Didn't Daddy ever teach you any manners?

*Gulps, attempts to appear braver than she is when she speaks*
Of course. And he also taught me not to talk to strangers in the middle of the night on a deserted street.
*Thinks: or werewolves, in general... and I know we're not strangers, but still...*
*Takes a slow step backward, prepared to flee*

*Pushes himself off the wall and towards the witch as soon as he hears one foot move behind her, not wanting to risk any attempts at Disapparation.*
Maybe, Daphne, you shouldn't be out in the middle of the streets at night to begin with.
Think of what a shame it'd be, if anything were to eat happen to you...
*A muffled growl rises from his throat as he reaches for her upper arms, quickly turning so that her back is against the cold brick wall. Greyback twists his lips into what, on any other being would be a smile, but instead looks more like a snarl*
And I'm hurt, Miss Greengrass. We're not strangers at all.

*She gasps and her eyes widen in horror as her back presses against the cold brick*
No, I suppose not. But my father's definition of 'strangers' was extremely vague. It consisted of most that he... hadn't met.
*Her eyes dart between his face and his hands, which are restraining her*
I meant no offense, Mr. Greyback.

So none was taken.
*Releases her arms, chuckling roughly at her frightened expression.*
*Narrows his eyes, looking at her curiously, tilting his head*
Your father...I know him, don't I?
*Shrugs, honestly not caring enough to follow that train of thought. Suddenly he freezes.*
Shh...
*Grins wickedly as he lifts one finger to his mouth in a motion to be silent. He inches towards the opening of the alley once more, keeping one eye on the witch. A few seconds later, two figures pass by the alley, not noticing the two standing in the shadows. Greyback growls, louder and more menacing than he did to get Daphne's attention.*

*Nods slowly*
Yes, I believe you do know him.
*Raises an eyebrow in confusion when he shushes her, and watches the others pass, hoping- for their sakes- that they don't stay long...*

*The soft sound of footsteps would be heard as it appears someone else was, too, trying to pass by the alleyway to get somewhere. However, the figure pauses at the entrance of the alley. Lingering, though the deep shadows make visual recognition nearly impossible.*
*The scents of Hogsmead speak volumes to Maggie as she pauses at the alley mouth and looks down the dark, narrow corridor between buildings. Fear. It was like the smell of cookies baking to a starving man. Licking her upper lip as she turns to step into the alleyway.*
*Fenrir would growl out menacingly and Maggie only smiles, letting it rumble dangerously in the air before she actually returns it.*
*The shadows part to reveal a woman that would be beautiful, though solid black eyes and claws tore away any semblance of that. Her voice growled softly as she walks towards the pair.*
Find yourself a snack, did you, Alpha?
*Grinning, revealing horrible elongated canines to Daphne as she watches the two intensely. She was smart enough not to approach too quickly, if it was a meal...she knew the pecking order and she didn't get the first portion.*

*Daphne's eyes widen in pure terror, and her pulse races dangerously fast. She moves almost imperceptibly in the opposite direction of the newcomer, barely able to think straight through the pounding of her heart in her ears*
Please... I don't want any trouble.

* as he sees the figure almost hides behind the shadows, suddenly realizing who it is. With a snarl, he's disgusted with himself for not knowing their identity beforehand. Distraction is completely unacceptable for the Alpha.* Magdelena. *Watches her with piercing eyes as she leaves the shadows behind and comes into the alley* What a delicious surprise. *Curls his lip back at the sound of Daphne's voice, caught between amusement and disgust once again. He looks back at the blonde witch and grins wickedly, sensing how terrified she is at the moment* Oh, come now Miss. Greengrass...have you forgotten how to say hello?

*Maggie smiles when he speaks her name, approaching still until she stands to Fenrir's side. Greeting him by resting her head on his shoulder, her eyes focusing on Daphne however.*
*Maggie chuckles and flexes her fingers, trying to assuage the itch beneath her claws. She was hungry, more for the hunt than the feast itself. She steps away from Fenrir and towards Daphne then, picking lightly and randomly at bits of clothing as she seeks to circle the girl.*
You smell so....perfectly afraid. You should watch that when you're around real predators, silly witch.
*Sniffing into the woman's hair before looking back to Fenrir. She was painfully aware of just how much the man loved fear; all aspects of it. She agreed, it smelled intoxicating and was simply...rewarding.*
