Astoria and Daphne's Temporary Home

Welcome, welcome! Do please hang your coats and jackets on the COAT HANGER, and don't fret, if you have come with a friend, for there is another long and bigger COAT HANGER as well.

A nice array of TEACUPS are visible, and the cosy looking kitchen is there also.

The RELAXING ROOM is off-limits to other people, unless Astoria and Daphne invites you there. Only friends and allies available!

Finally, their ROOM is very well furnished, so don't mess in there...All right?

Cause any unwanted trouble, and you'll be kicked out for sure.

*follows Astoria to the front door, attempting to balance the bags better as her hands are now quite sticky*

This is a really nice part of town.

*thinks of her parents' home and how she would get there from here*

Now, do sit down! Would you like some tea? I've got all kinds. And the Peppermint sticks would go very well with them. *Ushers Holly into the warm, pink room*

*is immediately reminded of her old dwelling with Yaxley and thinks she will take something to drink*

If just to warm by hands, sure, thanks.

*Drops off her bags on a table and sits, taking the moment to reflect that she doesn't think it strange that she was now in the house of some random woman. It was all very thrilling actually*

All right! *Walks into the kitchen and brings a teapot* Do you mind for some Peppermint Tea? It warms you right up, and it is quite helpful for your body warmth. For one, did you know- *Snaps off and smiles sheepishly* I'm sorry, I'm kind of training to be a Dark Healer, so I'm studying everything...*Sighs* Silly me.

*Pours some tea into Holly's pink teacup and lays some Ginger Snaps on the platter* Uhm, I'll be right back with the Jacket. *Slips away to the bedroom*

Oh. *thinks: Ha. good company*

Funny, I just had to go to St. Mungos for a bad reaction to Dark Magic. I guess I could have just waited until I met you, but it was a bit hard to live coughing funnels of smoke.

*goes crazy for the ginger snaps*

Oh, right! I'll be right here.

*Slips in and closes the door behind her, shivering in her thin jacket and wishing she had chosen one warmer when heading out.*

*She calls merrily, walking about the house a bit before coming upon the pink room where Holly is seated. Blinks, a bit confused by her presence, before smiling politely and addressing her.*

Oh, hello! My apologies, I wasn't expecting company. I would have made myself more presentable.

*Brushes a strand of blond hair away from her face*

I'm Daphne.

*Offers Holly her hand*

*Walks out with the JACKET, grinning as she sees both Daphne and Holly, who she sees, charmed by the cookies* Here you go, Holly. See if it fits..?

*Hugs her sister* Hi, Daphne. This is Holly Palmers. Holly, this is my sister, Daphne.

*finishes her drink and hopes her hands aren't too sticky, standing, a bit overwhelmed that she was meeting people who were practically legends among the Slytherins*

Oh, hi, hello, sorry for being such an unattractive throw pillow on your sofa, but I ran into your sister and she invited---oh there she is.

*turns as Astoria enters with the coat, receiving it with open arms and wide amazed eyes*

Oh wow...

*peels off her old jean jacket and tries on the new one, reminded for a second of Julia and the way she wore such nice things all the time*

I'm was afraid I had horrible shoulders but, no, I think it fits!

*Smiles* You don't have bad shoulders, I don't know what you're talking about! *Giggles* Come on, you can have some company with us and some more Ginger Snaps. *Takes more out and munches on one, dipping it in the tea*

So, Holly, heard about us in the Slytherin Tales? *Laughs* Remember, Daphne? Our book of the things we did.

*begins to relax more and unceremoniously grabs a handful of ginger snaps*

I remember the girls in my year idolized you, Daphne. They basically had a shrine for the upper year girls. Once she wore this black velvet headband and we all spend a whole afternoon trying to magically glue black felt onto a pack of cheap plastic headbands my friend happened to have.

*Hugs Astoria, smiles at Holly and waves a hand dismissively*

It's no trouble at all, Holly. It's lovely to meet you. It's great to have a new face around the neighborhood.

*Smiles. Giggles and sits, throwing her long blond hair over her shoulder*

Ah, yes, of course. I remember.

*Continues to smile while gazing off into the distance, remembering their... eventful time at Hogwarts. Blushes slightly when Holly mentions the girls idolizing her.*

*Giggles* It's like the time when we coloured Draco and Blaise's hair pink! *Topples over in laughter and goes over to the kitchen for more Ginger Snaps and Tea* So, Daphne, which flavour would you like? We have Peppermint, Rosemary, Mint, and Chocolate Thyme.

I better take this off before I get crumbs all over it.

*begins to unbotton the coat*
