My eyes went colder than usual, but I managed to talk clamly. "Such language..." I said with a even softer voice. "The law was written i 1692, and as you clearly have no love for textbooks, it is unlikely that you have read about it. I can assure you that it is described in numerous History of Magic books. Or may I suggest that you simply could take a look in the ministry's own archives?"

*His eyes thinned and his lips scrunched in growing rage.*
*Slowly, clearly and confidently, he lifted his wand from the desk, closed his eyes for a moment and flicked it.*
*His Patronus darted around the room then out of the door.*
*Never taking his eyes from Heap, he retook his seat and folded his hands in his lap. He attempted to maintain his smile.*
I will ask you once more... kindly... please take your leave.

I raises my eyebrow. "Pitty." I said colly. "You've perhaps just threw away a promising career." and with these last words, he walks out, closing the door behind him.

*He opened the door and stepped in, wand drawn.*
*He looked around quickly to see Gawain alone.*
You called?

*He slumped in his chair, taking the opportunity to relax as Peasegood entered.*
Oh... yes. Never mind. Thanks for coming.

I walked back to the office door with a polite smile and knocked clamly on the door.

*Peasegood had left him to continue his duties on guard on the lower level. Robards was at his desk looking through the case files of the Fuilteach family when he heard a knock.*
Come!

I walked in in the same room I had left a while ago. "It's me, Rydiger von Heap. I would like a word with you if you don't mind?" I asked politely.

*His hand instinctively moved towards his wand, but stopped before it reached it. The man had returned and was obviously attempting to behave more suitably. He grimaced, then sighed and nodded.*
Go on...

"I owe you an apology, Mr. Robards." I said quietly. "You see, I have a strained relationship with the German minister of magic, and when he reminded me of the responsibility for offering me to help you against this Dark Lord you always talking about, then I got a little overzealous ..." I sighed heavily, and stared shamefully down on the floor. "You see that many years ago, probably before you even were born, I killed the father of the German Minister for Magic while under the influence of the Imperius Curse casted upon me by Gellert Grindelwald. And when he reminded me of the old law, I felt that it was his way giveing me another chance, to forgive me for the terrible deed I did. I was eager and thoughtless while in my first attempt to show our Minister of Magic that I was worthy of the task. And I deeply apologize." *He reached out his hand, and it was almost as if he were about to break out in tears in terms of his dark past.*

*He shuffled in his seat, his lips still crinkled with annoyance.*
D'ooooh... very well then.
*He lifted himself out of his seat slightly, held out his hand and shook.*
Right... so if we are to cooperate, it will be just that. None of this pulling rank business. This is my department and it's going to stay that way until Hell drags the life out of me.

*He smiles friendly.* Very well then, Mr. Robards. *I said clamly.* Is there an empty office I could use for paperwork? And is this your department? I thought that you were Head of the Auror office, not the entire Department?

*He rolled his eyes.*
It says on the door doesn't it. Head Auror! That's me. Edgar Ashwood is the Head of the Law Department, but as Head Auror, I outrank him. Not that we take much notice of that sort of thing. I would trust the man with my life and that of any of my colleagues.
As far as office space goes... that's not my department. You'll have to talk to Scrimgeour or Umbridge.

*Nodds.* I'll do that, Mr. Robards. *I said friendly.* Thank you. *I bowed shortly and walked out.* If you need anything, just ask.

*He watched the man leave, a slow burning feeling of rage in his gut. Something was not right here.*
*For a moment he sat alone, in silence, trying to ease his nerves.*
*He grabbed his wand.*
Confringo!
*A poster on the wall of Ophelia Fuilteach burned to dust.*
*He breathed out and was ready to get on with his work.*
