"Shhhh," she hissed, and mimicked a growling dog. "Grrr. Bad dog." She giggled unpleasantly, and said in a soft voice, "Yes, actually."

*He gave Tonks a look to say that he really had no idea how he was meant to handle the situation, then turned back to the girl in the cell.*
What will happen to you when she dies?

"She'll be mine," she said, her voice dreamy, and looking at the ceiling as though she could see through it. "She'll be down in the black with me, listening to me sing our little songs. And I'll go into the blackness, and cease to be. Out like a candle ... poof! Just like that. Both of us gone. Just blackness, no stars."
She looked at Robards and smiled widely, her fangs very obvious and sharp in her mouth. "But you know, it's quite hard to kill a vampire," she remarked sweetly. "Stake through the heart and garlic won't do it. You'll need to chop off her head, or burn her. Won't that be fun?"

*The sight of the fangs was a reminder of the danger she posed, and he was again thankful for the bars.*
So if she dies, you die. And that is what you want? Why?
*This was not his job, not really his expertise. If there was a healer or an Unspeakable or someone else who knew how to deal with this sort of situation he would gladly hand the task over, but right now it was just him and Tonks.*

"I already told you ... I like damage, destruction, chaos," she said with a crazed smile. "If she dies, her father will become a monster. He will kill, he will burn things, and knowing what he will do is enough for me." She dragged her nails down her own face, scratching deep furrows into the skin, making blood pour down her cheeks and drip onto her clothes. The wounds healed quickly enough, but the message was clear - Crazy Town, population: this girl.
"That reminds me," she said softly. "I'm hungry."

*He was a little sick in his mouth as she cut herself and the blood stained her robes.*
*He forced himself to swallow it down so that it went unnoticed and spoke again, desperately trying to get sense out of the girl.*
You will not see the destruction you cause. It is pointless surely?

She smirked. "I smell fear. It's intoxicating," she remarked, and licked a small drop of blood from the corner of her lips.
"Everything I do is rather pointless. Like you, trying to figure out what's wrong with Ophelia. Pointless!" She covered her mouth and giggled. "But it's fun while it lasts."
She then clapped her hands together and said, "So! Will you be feeding me? I'm getting very hungry, and you may find this hard to believe, but I lose my sunny and charming disposition when I'm hungry." She pouted, and added in a singsong voice, "And the hungrier I get, the more likely I am to try and take a bite out of you ... or Miss Nymphadora."

*It was clear that reasoning with this side of the girl was not an option. He had no idea how to bring Ophelia to the front again, but maybe it was worth a try.*
Will you let me speak to Ophelia if I get you some food?

She shook her head, smirking. "Vampire, remember? Blood is what I'm after, and maybe I'll let you two have a little chat."
She watched him carefully, waiting for his response.

*He chewed his lip. He could probably get some animal blood easily enough, but he was not sure if he should do it at all. Although he was obliged to feed his prisoner.*
*He turned away and placed his hand on Tonks shoulder, whispering to her.*
I'll leave her under your supervision for now.
*He glanced back over his shoulder at the confusing creature in the cell and pondered for a moment before replying to her.*
I'll see what I can do...
*With that, he left the cell block.*

She waved merrily at him as he left, and then stared at the ceiling intently, as though she could see straight through it. "Hurry back ..." she said, and peered at the pink-haired Auror standing outside her cell. "Alone at last!" she giggled.
She remained quiet for a time, and then looked up at Tonks, her expression curious. "Do you like lilies?" she asked. "Ophelia planted them in her father's garden, but they died. Everything she puts in the ground withers and dies. But that's my fault. I make sure she forgets to take care of them."

*Couldn't get a word in edgewise, she was too creeped out by the scene going on to really care to interrupt it...*
Right, I will keep watch.
*Mummers as Robards leaves to fetch "lunch", shivers a little at the thought*
Lilies, sure. Pretty enough I figure, mate.
*Lifts an eyebrow, watching little Ophelia go on in third person was making her really wonder if St. Mungos wouldn't have been a better idea*
*Waits impatiently, shifting to the other foot, itching to get back and check on Remus*
Why Jane and Willow, what'd they ever do to you?
*Asks while it's just the two of them, hoping the other voice in her head would give something away*

She could sense the female Auror's fear, and it amused her greatly. She knew this girl was greatly disturbed by her, and the tang of fear in the air smelled almost as good as blood.
"Jane ... she had cow's eyes. Big and black. Moo ..." she said in an irritating sing-song voice, knowing it would irritate the Auror. "Ophelia didn't like her, so I decided she'd be the first. As for Willow ... she was there."
She shrugged, and crossed her arms. "Bored now," she sighed, and looked up at Tonks. "Does he love you, your werewolf?"

*Seeths, pushing herself from the cold stony wall and pacing slowly, anything to fight the urge to take her wand and let lose on the vampire*
I hear Jane and yer dear old dad were close, I bet that made Ophelia green with envy...
*Stops close, but not too close to the cell bars. Glaring. Hands deep in her pockets.*
*Ignoring the question about her "werewolf" she continues about the Phoenix girls.*
Didn't it, 'Phelia? Daddy had a new Favourite girl and you couldn't have that.

She watched Tonks, listening to her talk, hearing the pounding of her heart as she let her anger control her. Then she started to laugh, softly at first, but getting louder, more shrill, and more inhuman as she continued. Eventually, she stopped, and wiped blood tears of mirth from her eyes.
"Oh believe me, Ophelia isn't taking kindly to that. Myself on the other hand ... I found it hilarious, but if you will grant me a moment, I will try to summon some care from the depths of my heart." She paused, and made a face as if she was concentrating. She sighed theatrically, "Look at that, I can't. Such a pity."
She giggled quietly, and said, "Speaking of Ophelia's Daddy dearest, he's probably tearing your mongrel to shreds right now." She stood, and walked to the bars of her cell. "Haven't you heard that he has more blood on his hands than poor little Ophelia?"
She gave a merry little chuckle that was more chilling than her wild howls of laughter. "Tell you what ... he has a liking for mortal women. If he tears out your mongrel's throat, you could see if he'd take you to his bed like he did with pretty little Janey! But you would have to give yourself a flea bath first, and get rid of that stench of wet dog that hangs around you." She wrinkled her nose. "Ew. Smells like a bitch in heat."
