Ophelia was worn out. She had been arrested, interrogated, cruciated, and for a vampire, this was the equivalent of two in the afternoon. It had been a very trying day, and now some Auror was offering to help her. Clearly, Ophelia thought, she was very, very insane. No Auror would help her. This was another hallucination.
"Why would an Auror want to help me?" she sneered.

~Venus giggled, shaking her head.~
My dear sweet girl...I am more than just an auror. And I want to help you because...Well, I am in need of your help.
~She could see that from the state of it Ophelia was looking worn. As a good faith gesture she pulled out a packet of human blood. Having friends in St. Mungoes helps sometimes. She tossed the packet to Ophelia with a smile~

Ophelia regarded the Auror coolly, and caught the packet of blood easily. She looked at it, and then looked at the other girl, suddenly suspicious. Could this be some sort of trap? She could smell human blood, however, and it was making it hard to think.
"Do excuse me a moment," she said politely, and turned away to sink her teeth into the squidgy packet of human blood. It was just barely room temperature, but being able to bite something, and taste real blood was a fragment of heaven in this dingy cell. She drank every drop, uncaring that she had taken a bottle of pig blood barely half an hour ago. It was as decaff to a coffee lover, and this was espresso.
She turned back to Venus, and gave her a weak smile. "Thank you," she said. "Now, what can I possibly do for you from in this cell?"

~Still smiling Venus wraped a hand around one of the bars of her cell. She stood silently for a moment just looking at the woman inside.~
My dear...that will come in time. Right now it is you that needs the help. That is...if you want to get out of this cell ever again. Your looking peakish...not getting enough blood perhaps?
~Venus giggled, patting her bag.~
Looks awful lonely in there...you look like you could use a friend.

Ophelia's head was spinning. She pressed her hand to her forehead and rubbed it, trying to get rid of her headache. Sickness was stirring, trying to come through. Ophelia was aware of her sometimes, and this time, Sickness was acting gleeful, as though she knew something good was about to happen.
"Cut to the chase. What do you want? I'm holding on by a thread here, and you won't like the other side of me," Ophelia warned. "Just to warn you, if my tone of voice changes, you should move away from the bars. My other side is not to be trusted."

~Venus continued to smile, pulling closer to the bars.~
I think I'll be ok where I am. And whose to say that we aren't all not to be trusted.
~She cocked her head to the side, staring at the mass of red flaming hair that lay/sat on the bed in the cell~
I want to be your friend Ophelia....I want to help you out of there.

Ophelia shook, and closed her eyes. When she reopened them, she no longer looked weary and sad; she looked ruthless and cruel. "Yes, but sweet Ophelia was referring to me when she spoke of 'not to be trusted'." Sickness stood up and stretched as lazily as a cat, and walked towards the bars. "She calls me Sickness. I suppose you can, too." Sickness smiled a smile as wicked and brief as lightning, and clawed a sharp fingernail down the bar of the cell, making an ear-piercing screeching sound. "They are putting her on trial soon. How on earth could you get us out of here, and what would stop me from tearing out your jugular as soon as you open the cell door? " **Sickness**

~Still standing strong, held out her hand to shake sickness's hand.~
Because sickness...Everyone needs a friend...Even a killer like you. Plus, you keep killing everyone and our dear Ophelia will be sentenced to death. And not even you want that.

Sickness smirked, and took the Auror's hand. She shook it, and pressed her nails into the girl's flesh for a split second before releasing it, a warning of what she was capable of. "I've got all the company I need in her pretty little head, but another 'friend' would not go amiss." She giggled unpleasantly, and added, "Oh, but I do! But that is entirely another point that will keep us talking for hours. Tell me, what is your name, and what would I have to do in order for you to help me?" **Sickness**

~Venus stretched out her hand, looking it over before retracting it.~
Well, our dear little Ophelia has information that can help me win over my new set of friends. And well, Having a vampire as a friend could come in handy.
~Venus picked another packet of blood from her bag and held it just out of arms length of sickness.~
Be a good girl for a few hours...Let me talk to my "superiors" and see what I can do to get you out. Then we can discuss further details dear.

Sickness raised her eyebrow, intrigued. "New set of friends? Hmm, how interesting! Would this new set of friends be of the dark and dangerous persuasion?" she asked. She smirked. "Ophelia's not the only one with information. She doesn't like the dark stuff, but I always did. Ask, and you shall receive." She made to snatch the packet of blood and hissed as it was just out of reach. "You play a dangerous game, but I will accept if you tell me your name, and hand over that blood before I take some the old fashioned way." **Sickness**

Venus is my name...and that is all I shall tell you for now. And yes, They would be my dear.
~She tossed the packet to sickness, smiling as she caught it. Venus suddenly stopped and sniffed the stale air. She growled softly.~
Well, it smells as if Zero has been down here as well.

She nodded, accepting the name given. "Very well, Venus." She took the bag of blood eagerly, and paused, a wicked smirk curling on her lips when she heard the name Zero. "Oh, were you acquainted with him?" she asked, gleeful malice in her voice, thinking she could needle this Auror for a bit. "We bit him once. His blood was metallic, like sucking on a greasy coin." She giggled. "He tried getting information from Ophelia about Severus Snape, but if there's one man she keeps tight-lipped about, it's him. Zero also ended up with Dante's leftovers, if the rumours are true." **Sickness**

~Venus narrowed her eyes.~
Yes, I was acquainted with him...once. But now...I'd kill him soon as look at him.
~Venus shook slightly with rage as she thought of Zero and all he had done.~

Sickness clapped her hands once with malicious delight. "Well, isn't that just a delightful little trip down memory lane! If it makes you feel better, his blood didn't taste very nice." She giggled. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend, Venus," Sickness said with false sweetness. "I think you've got yourself a deal." **Sickness**
