tsk...tsk...tsk...I can't believe you don't even recognize me. Has it really been that long. Or have I just changed that much.
~Venus picked up one last vial of potion. This time it was a vial of Girding potion. She smiled, knowing it was her mothers Favourite. She looked between her mother and her father, dropping the vial on the floor.~
I can't believe you wouldn't recognize your own daughter.
~she pushed back her hood, removing her wand from her cloak and holding it out at her side with a grin on her lips.~

*He squinted as though he couldn't believe his eyes and hunched slightly as he approached her a few steps.*
Venus... is that you?
*He drew himself back up to his full height once more and bared his teeth a little.*
What are you doing here? Smashing up the place? And use your real face when you're talking to me!
*Venus had always been a talented metamorphmagi. He would have been proud of her talent if it wasn't for the disgrace she brought on the family.*

*Rosalyn glared at Venus. How dare she show up at their shop? And how DARE she destroy a bottle of her Favourite potion!*
How dare you show up here? What do you want with us.... because.... we're too busy to deal with you right now!
*Rosalyn turned back on her angrily, trying not to show the hurt she felt about the entire situation. All she wanted to show was her anger...not her hurt.*

Yes father it is me. I'm sorry to just show up like this. But I figured that now would be a good time to come home. ~she smiled, moving a bit closer.~ I'm sorry father. I had to put on this front to fool the Ministry. Couldn't have them suspecting me of being a death eaters apprentice. ~Venus closed her eyes as her face changed back to what they would recognize.~ Do forgive me mother. I had forgotten that Girding was your Favourite potion. ~She cleared her throat.~ I'm here because I need your help.

*He tilted his head in confusion still feeling some amount of rage building.*
Death Eaters apprentice? What are you talking about?

~Venus headed over to the counter and hopped up onto it.~
You actually think I was working for the ministry. Please...that was just a front. I've recently required apprenticeship to a one Thornfin Rowle. I wish to searve the Dark Lord father. As I said...I want to come home.

*He stood with his mouth open, not sure what to make of the situation. He knew of Rowle, a respectable member of the Death Eater ranks and could not believe what he was hearing. It was too good to be true. But he was still annoyed. All this time he had believed she had betrayed him and now suddenly she was back saying all the things she should have said to begin with.*
Well... why didn't you tell us before?

*Rosalyn slowly turned to face her daughter again.*
What exactly do you want help with?
*She still had her wand out just in case this was some sort of front against them as well...She wanted to trust her daughter again, but how could she with everything she put them through?*

~Venus pushed off the counter.~
I had to make my story to the ministry believable. I had to leave home to live with gram. The Ministry had to believe I was actually good before hiring me on as an Auror. I mean...what if they wanted to check out where I lived. I couldn't have very well brought them home to you.
~She ran a hand through her hair~
Well, It seems that...Gram only left me her small house and a very small amount of cash. And well, that house is not fit for a death eater. Plus with my new friend I think it better not to be in the Hollow anyway.
~She smiled, taking a packet of blood out of her pocket.~
For my friend you see. She's the daughter of Mr. Fuilteach, the very one who is currently sitting in a cell in the ministry. She's on trial...most likely to be sentenced to death. I'm her only hope as of yet of her getting free.
~Venus slid the packet back in her pocket, pointing out the key she held on a string around her neck next.~
Even had to Imperius my boss to get this little beauty.

*Rosalyn slowly put her wand back.*
You...your not lying... are you...
*She tries desperately to hold back the tears she was trying to hold back.*
Are you truly coming home now?

*Friends with a Fuilteach. Using an Unforgivable on an Auror. It was sounding better all the time, but still... could it be true?*
You want to move back in with us? With a vampire?
*He noticed Rosalyn still had her wand to hand, and thought she was wise to do so, but began to wonder if it was necessary.*

Well, I'm a little to old to live at home don't you think father. No...I was looking for a little help acquiring a manor of my own. Of course...you'd be welcome to visit anytime you wish.
~Venus smiled at her mum, actually looking at her for once.~
I can't very well take her back to Godrics Hollow. And I can't sell that house to help be buy a new one. have to keep up appearances ya know.

*Rosalyn looked away so that she would not show her tears. Instead she turned to her husband*
What do you think we should do Roger? Should...should we help her?

Luke was unpacking the crates in the backroom when he noticed his parents talking very upset and heard clattering noises. He poked his head through the door.
"What's up? Can I help?"
Suddenly he noticed his now again Venus-looking sister.
"Venus?" That couldn't be true. His sister had left the house years ago, in tears, but very determined NOT to become a Death Eater, or a supporter of the Dark Lord like the rest of the family.
"Ma? Dad? You won't let her in, won't you? She's a traitor!"

*He had to admit that he wasn't entirely convinced either, but Venus seemed to be on the right track.*
*He came close to her, his family looking for his decision.*
You don't expect us to just give you a handout? After all this time? Look what you've done to your mother. Letting her believe you had betrayed us all.
