A walk by the moonlight (open)

Rose had sneaked out of her dorm that night, not wanting to be stuck inside on such a beautiful night. Sneaking down the corridors she finally made it to the doors without being seen by filch. She pushed the large doors open and ran outside, hearing the faint shutting of the door behind her. Clutching her bag by her side, she made her way down to the lake. The moon was shinning bright that night, its light bouncing off the calm waters of the lake.

*Wyman was reading a book in the common room when he suddenly heard a noise from the girls dorm. He saw Aurora sneak out of the girls dorm and then the Ravenclaw Common Room. He was not sure whether to follow her. He thought of getting caught by Filch so to stop her he followed her stealthily. Following all the way from the Common room to the lake he finally saw her sitting alone under the tree , Gazing the moon.*

Do you find this time correct to creep out of school?

*He said to her waiting for her reaction.*

*Rose never took her eyes off the moon. The voice registered in her head as she recognized it to be one of her fellow Ravenclaw's. She sighed, wiping a tear from her cheek.*

I couldn't...sleep. And being in that stuffy common room wouldn't have helped.

*She finally managed to tear her eyes away, looking over at Wyman. Rose ran a hand through her hair the purple streaks that usually ran through it turning blonde.*

Why did you follow me?

*Wyman saw her sobbing. He wanted to ask the reason but didn't.*

Actually I followed you to stop you so that you don't get caught by Filch. And why are you carrying the bag with you?

*He was really confused why she had her bag with her. Nobody will come out of castle at that point of time just to finish homework.*

Filch has never caught me before, why should tonight be any different.

*Rose fixed her skirt over her knees, turning her eyes back to the lake.*

You can sit if you like...I'm not going to bite. I came out here for an evening swim. It helps me clear my head. My bag has an extra set of clothes in it. Ya know...so I don't go dripping water all over the floor.

*She sniffeled softly, giggling a bit. Her eyes flicked back to him.*

It's a lovely night out, no?

*Wyman went near the the tree and sat beside her. He was astonished by the idea of an evening swim. He had never swum in the night.*

Yes. The night is great. Are you really gonna swim in this chill night?

*He shivered even thinking of swimming in this chilly night*

The cold doesn't really bother me anymore.

*Rose smiled saddly*

My brother and I used to sneak out at night during the summer time and swim in my cousins pond. It's quite...refreshing.

*she dug through her bag pulling out a picture and showing it to Wyman.*

My father took this, four days before my brother and he were killed. It's why I sneak out. To keep the memory alive.

*Wyman was shocked hearing of Aurora's Father and brother.*

I'm Sorry to hear about them.

*He thought of changing the topic and cheering her up. So he started talking about Potions*

You know I'm really weak at potions. I can't understand a thing of it. I wonder how I cleared my previous years. What about you? You like Potion?

*Rose smiles, taking the picture back and putting it away.*

No need to be sorry. Unless you are or know of the vampire who slew them.

*Her mood brightened when he brought up potions.*

A weird topic...But I do enjoy Potions. It's one of my best subjects. My mum is really good at potions, guess I get it from her.

*Wyman was happy that he changed the topic as he didn't know how to react in a sad situation.The thought of Vampire had already horrified him.*

Actually, that Vampire thing you said right now... I had just read about those in comic books. My mother used to bring comic books for me. I hope you know what a Comic book is?

*He said hoping not to dismay her.*

Never want to meet a vampire you don't. Scarey things. I...had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting one once in the woods. I got away...I think he gave up the chase.

*Rose giggled at him, taking off her shoes and socks.*

My brother dabbled in muggle things...many muggle things. I may be a pureblood, but I do know what a comic book is.

*she smiled.*

Hush! Because if you didn't I could not have explained you what exactly it is.

*Saying this he smiles.He saw her taking off her shoes and socks and thought of going back to the castle. He was not at all interested in swimming in this chilly night.*

You're really gonna swim?

*Rose lightly digs her toes into the earth.*

Probably not tonight. I just want to feel the ground beneath my feet. It's just...it's much cooler down here by the water. Wouldn't you agree?

*Wyman smiles*

Yes. It is much..much cool down here. But I don't want to feel it.

*He had ran out of topics to talk about. SO he just looked up and gazed at the stars.*

*Rose giggled, pushing off the ground and trying to catch her balance.*

But the earth feels so good under my feet.

*She smiled down at him, following his gaze up to the moon.*

Its beautiful no. How something so far away can shine so brightly and be so beautiful.

*Rose walked close to the water, doing a few twirls and giggling. She was enjoying the night, even if it was a bit chilly.*
