*Dismisses the insults, busy trying to get over the shock of Gen actually agreeing to engage in any kind of social activity with him and his sister - it's been quite a while. It makes him realise that perhaps he should ask what it is that he's getting himself into after all. Knowing Gen, there may be ulterior motives.*
*Catches his balance, after being shoved backwards quite forcefully, and laughs*
Ah! Now there's the Gen we all know and love.
*Winks at her as he steals a chair from another table, straddles it and crosses his arms over the back.*
Alright, let's hear it. What level of trouble would we be getting into this time?

*He shrugged. If this Claw was good enough for Gen, then he would go along with it. But at the back of his mind, he knew he'd call him up on it if he made any mistakes.*

Gen smiled at Michael. "Excellent!" She then turned to the Ravenclaw, raising a curious eyebrow at how "comfortable" he seemed to be with the Slytherins. "Hmm...well, I'd say the level is pretty high. You're not still afraid of the dark, are you?" Gen sniggered, poking fun at one of the many childhood fears she remembered him having. "Because we're going into the forest to look for the missing girl." Acting as if what she had just said was as simple as hello, she turned back to Billows.
"So, know anyone else daring enough to join us?" She asked this just as the Bloody Baron made his daily appearance at the Slytherin table, gliding menacingly over their heads.

*He shrugged again. Slytherins were all he really knew. Sure he had heard a few names of Quidditch players from other houses, but that's only because there was no avoiding it.*

*Rushes in, immediately searching for her brother. She had gossip and she wanted to share it.*
There you are! Oh! Hello Gen. Talking to us "little folk" again, are you?
*Flashes the redhead a quick forced smile and turns back to her brother.*
Have you heard the news? A dead body was brought up to the castle in the middle of the night. By a pack of centaurs no less! Everyone's guessing it's that Slytherin girl, but we won't know for sure until they make a formal announcement. There should be one this evening, I expect.
*Comes to a sudden realisation and narrows her eyes suspiciously. Judging by their positioning, posture and body language, these two Slytherins and her brat of a brother were up to something.*
Alright...what's going on? Gen never talks to us unless she needs something.

Gen rolled her eyes at Piper's fake smile and was about to reply when the words of what the Gryffie had just said sunk in. "Drats! No, let's hope it ISN'T the Slytherin girl!" Cursing under her breath she looked between Michael and Lucas, her disappointment clear as glass, before setting her gaze on Piper for the first time in a long while.
"Well Piper, I see you haven't lost your...charm." She sighed, rolling her eyes again and leaning back with crossed arms. "Apparently nothing's going on now. If they truly did find the girl then we've just been robbed of a perfectly good adventure."
Gen huffed in true Slytherin-brat fashion. What little excitement she had been looking forward to was now gone. Piper's news had just put things back to normal, which meant...boring!
