What the heck? I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it. If I get addicted though, I'm blaming you.

*laughs and turns to the hostess*

two butter beers, please

*smiles and takes the butter beer*

*takes a sip*

*shrugs*

It's pretty good. I've tasted better, but I like it.

Maybe it's just because I've never had it before.

*sips at it some more, surprised at it's taste*

Tastes nothing like hard alchohol or whisky.

*looks at her glass before taking a long sip*

it's like all alcholic drinks taste differently..

*thinks: like Sloane's sugar drinks*

If this is light, I'm thinking I may like something heavier.

*takes another drink and turns the glass in his hands out of boredom*

there's always wine, do you want an oaky flavor or a sweet flavor? these are a little heavier and the red is pretty strong, the oaky flavor one.

*thinks on it a moment*

I think I'd prefer the sweet flavor.

*smiles*

You don't have to buy them for me.

*laughs*

Of course I do, I've talked you into trying these things so I'm going to pay for them

*smiles at the bar maid*

*hands him one of the glasses that she pours and takes a sip*

Isn't it? One of my favorites. Take it easy though, wine's a lot stronger than butter beer.

It's like candy. When Jo had some- she snuck into mothers wine cabnet- she had a bit too much and suffered a major head ache the next day
