*Hermione walked silently into the lounge area. As usual she had a book clasped firmly in one hand. This time, oddly enough, it was a novel she had gotten drawn into. She made her way to a place out of the way, and would give a light flick of her wand, bringing a pitcher full of water and a glass floating over to her table, to rest lightly upon it. She would open her book up and pour herself some water, lifting the glass and taking a slight sip before settling in for some nice reading time... Unless of course someone wished to come start conversation?*

*She soon heard words directed at... Someone. At first she simply glanced up, but when she heard her ask about the book in her hands, she would fix her gaze upon the young witch before her. She smiled brightly to her, and ran her fingers lightly through her hair, indeed she didn't pay much attention to it this morning, not really minding how it bushed out a bit. She would close her book and place it lightly upon her lap, running her hands lightly over it.* Oh just a simple novel... But it's quite good really. *She nodded a bit and smiled warmly to Aurelie.*

Thanks ] *Hermione would continue to trace her fingers lightly along the cover of her book, before taking hold of her glass of water and raising it lightly to sip from it again as she listened to this other girl's words. She nodded a little bit in response.* I know what you mean... I haven't had nearly the time for reading as I used to... *She sighed lightly as she thought of the recent happenings and how busy things had gotten... so fast and so complicated... She glanced up again and smiled warmly to her.* Oh it's a love story written about a witch of the light falls for a wizard of the darkness, as it is called in here anyway... *She grinned a bit in an almost sheepish manner as she tapped the cover lightly with one nail.* Rather silly I suppose, but it makes for an interesting read... *She laughed a little and shook back that bushy hair from her eyes, still grinning at her a bit. Indeed, Hermione didn't look bad at all, but she felt it was too much work to primp and polish herself... She had much more interesting things to do, in her opinion... Like reading silly novels? Ah well... More like keeping her two best friends out of trouble...* |

Hm. Does sound pretty interesting. Any decent woman can always appreciate a good love story.

[Aw thanks!  I RP a lot, but not really in this format lol. I do major para stuff most of the time, so I'm trying to cut my posts way down lol.] *Hermione took another sip of her water, now draining the glass, goodness she must have been thirsty. She moved then to refil the glass from the pitcher she had brought over before taking another sip from it and smiling to the other woman and nodding a little bit to her* I completely agree with you... And it is a nice switch to the course books I read all through school, but don't tell anyone, it would ruin my image... *She laughed lightly, her face lighting up with amusement for the moment before pausing a little as she asked what she had been up to. Imediately her mind flew to Harry and his turn to the darkness and that curse... And Ron and his newfound love of firewhiskey... She sighed slightly, but gave an almost shaky smile to her.* Oh this and that... Not much has changed since I got out of school... *She was indeed purposefully vague. One could never know just how much they could trust someone these days...* How about yourself? |

Well, I work for a rather prominent family. So, not a lot. It's a pretty easy job.

*She nodded a little bit. Much to her dismay the tones between herself and Aurelie had turned more business like than they had started. She didn't like this, and winced a little, knowing it hd started with the vague answer she gave... Yet what else could she do? Things were bad... The Dark Lord was growing in power and gaining more and more followers... Heck her own beloved best friend nearly subcumbed to him. Well she would continue to give her a light, but still warm smile, trying to ease the tension between them.*
So... You look to be quite young... Did you just graduate from Hogwarts as well? I graduated just a few years ago, three now I think...

Harry poked his head around the door, a broad grin spreading across his lips as he spotted Hermione. "Hey," he said, pushing the door open and slipping inside. He glanced, a little warily, at the other girl in the room before making his way across to his friend. "I was just looking for you. You left your Hogwarts; A History at my house." He stopped beside her, once again glancing at the other girl standing by the bar. "I'll have a firewhiskey if you're offering," he said, studying her. He was sure he recognised her vaguely, but that wasn't uncommon when most of the wizarding population of Great Britain went to the same school.
