*strides into the classroom to prepare for the first lesson* *posts a large message on the board*
*examines her work and sits in her desk writing the last finishing touches to her lesson plan for the week*

*Priscilla walks into the classroom giving a small nod to Prof. Vector. She knows she is a bit early, but for Arithmancy, she always is. She sits down, pulling up her books, a small jar of ink, quills and parchment. Although she already knows the basics, she wouldn't want to miss a single class of her favourite and, by far, best subject.*

*walks into classroom and sits in closest seat next to door. She smiles up to Priscilla and then struggles to pull her textbook from her bag*

*Priss acknowledges the presence of Elena with a quick glance over her shoulder. She then writhes her head back to face the front, which causes the slight crackling of muscles in her neck. Her bony shoulders hunch ever so slightly up as she leans forward over her desk, like some beast getting ready to attack it's victim, still awaiting the start of the class.*

*walks into the classroom* *takes a seat in the back of the class, thinking of somthing far different than Arithmancy* *realizes she's not taking Arithmancy and walks out of the room* *mumbles, so as not to bring attention to herself to much* Forgot somthing.. *hurries out of the classroom, taking a look at her schedule to see what class she did have now*

*looks up at the few early students* As soon as bell rings we'll begin, it'll give time for stragglers to wander in. *looks down at her desk and picks up a stack of huge, heavy books as throws them onto each desk*

*Priss greedily grasps the book and innhales the smell of it's old pages, as if numbers had a particular smell that only she could sense and find utterly tantalizing. Her bony hands caress the worn corners of the binding like the fur of some long lost pet, and the corners of her mouth curl up into that hideous smirk of hers.*

*sighs that she has yet another text to lug around. Ignores the arithmacy text and continues to flip through her textbook from Runes*

*looks at the two girls* Please take care of these books, any damage you inflict upon them can not be repared by anyone but myself, and it would be unfortunate to have to deduct points. *shuffles papers on desk as she waits imapatinetly for the other students to arrive* You both have taken airthmancy before?

*Casually* Oh yeah, I guess I thought it would be funny to see how far I could progress with Arithmacy my third year until I failed out. And yet here I am, seventh year. *chuckles to self*

*Priscilla looks at the professor as if she had just asked her a question as silly as "do you use brooms in quidditch?", considering her flawless marks last year, but nonetheless answers the inquiry with an unsettling smile.*
Yes, indeed. Professor, if I may be so bold as to ask; will we be using the Pythagorean or the Chaldean conversion table?

*is pleased with their responses and talks to Priscilla* We will be covering both, even though they have more to do with numerology, but at first we fill practice a few basics just to see where everyone is before we start doing NEWT work. I'm sure you both will find it very easy, but the work will exceed greatly in a few weeks.

*snoops his head inside* *sighs, relief that he stumbles in class on time*
Morning, Prof. Manage to scare the pupils again, I see.
*looks around and nods his head to Elena and Priscilla*
Which means...I can have you all to myself!
*gives her a stupid grin* *winks in a pleasant composure* *tosses his books on a desk while he jumps to a nearby seat*
So what are we gonna learn today?
*slant his chair backwards toward Priscilla* *snatches Priscilla's book away* *lifts it up glancing quickly as the pages flip over*
Bah. The basic again.
*hands Priscilla her book back*
Professor, much as I love you, can we skip these chapters and go right ahead to the juicy problems?

*Priscilla's eyes flash as the Gryffindor-robed boy in front of her snatches her book, but she does nothing but keeping her eyes on him until he hands it back to her. An unnerving grin spreads on her face and she leans forward, so that she is almost breathing down his neck where he's positioned in his tipped back chair. With a voice too low for anyone but him to hear and lips hardly moving, she starts to whisper.*
Next time, pretty boy, ask first. Or things might get a little too juicy.
*At that moment, a lock of her hair seems to move by it self behind him, to slither up his neck in an unnatural caress, but when she leans back again, it looks perfectly normal, as if it had never happened.*

*thinks about what the studetsn ahve said so far* Sit where ever theres a book Mr...... *checks list* Joy.
I was curious to see where all of you were with your studies in Arithmancy were, but from what you all have said i might just have to do that. Allow me to spend this first class testing you, then w can work as fast as you like. *turns to the board and starts writing problems*
You wont be needing your books today. Please complete the following questions and problems, turn your parchments over, and proceed to read over the first chapter. If all of this work bores you to tears, we will skip as far ahead as I see fit.
