*Turns to Elena and whispers so the Professor can't hear her*
I can't remember the last time I ever laughed as hard I do now. He's so cute, and sweet, and romantic... *sighs dreamily and shakes head with a giant smile*

You'll find Mr. Right someday, and you'll feel like you don't deserve him, and he'll feel like he doesn't deserve you.

Priscilla raised her hand.
"There was a muggle book I read once, a German one, about a muggle boy who visited an imaginary kingdom called Fantasia, and, because he had saved the ruler of the kingdom, the Child-like Empress, he was given an amulet called Aryn, which fullfilled every wish he asked for, but he didn't realize that such power always has a catch, and for each wish he made, a memory disappeared from his mind, until he could hardly remember who he was. I suppose the moral of the story is that such power is to be used sparingly and wisely."

*nods, arms crossed*
Well spoken. Thank was a good tale with a great moral---wizards should not fear amulets and other objects of power simply because they cause harm. All this must be balanced. Prehaps all they need is a wise owner.
Noelle, do you have your story ready?

*Pulls out a huge book from her bag*
It's a muggle book, a quite famous one I'm told called "Lord of the Rings". I haven't had much time to read it, due to it being quite long, but According to my research, a man- most likely based off of a wizard- has forged a magic ring that will control the wearers of the "Rings of Powers." Apperantly, over the years hobits have had the rotten luck of discovering this ring and become possesive of it. They turn into gruesom creatures because of it and even kill for it. In the end I suppose the ring was destroyed.
*Smiles*
But I have not gotten that far into the book yet. There is another one that I have prepared, if you'd prefer that one instead.

*Sighs in relief*
The other story is called "James in the Giant Peach" and it's about a young boy who is searching for a family and is given a box of enchanted bugs. The bugs escape, even after the man warned him not to. The bugs infested a peach, and the peach grew to a magnificent size, as did the bugs. The child ate a hole into the peach and joined the giant crawlers. They traveled to New York, America. In the end he found a family.

*nods and heads back to his desk* I like that that story had a good ending. I was still a bit sad from Elena's story but ready to show you all some more items I have here. *uncovers another necklace* Please make a sketch of each in your notebooks. Egpytian Sand Talisman: Wards off asps and scorpians. Temple of Urath: Releases small hell demon--don't worry, has been deactivated by MoM. Class C ritualized item. I have no idea why the MoM let me take this when I left....anyway, moving on... Venegnce Amulet, Origins Unknown, Has powers to forfill wishes but only those of abused children. Nymph Seastar, Early Roman--Has the power to mimic Veela powers for a non-Veela. Glows *looks sideways at Noelle* if a Veela is present.

*Copies all into notebook untill she comes to the last one, where she lifts her head and stares at it. Stares it slightly give off a glow hardly shining at all. Doesn't speak and draws it. Stares at dawing as if in a distant world filled with shame*
No one needs that sort of power. It'll hurt you in the long run if you can't controll it. *She says faintly, though loud enough to let the class hear. She reaches to play with her locket, but touches nothing but skin, and she remembers that she gave it to George. She smiles at the thought of him wearing it.*

*Shakes head*
Family issues... and no it wasn't offesnsive, it was just, well, weird... it just made me wonder why someone would want artificial love instead of the real thing.
*Suddenly realizes what Elena had just said*
You came by my place? Oh! I'm so sorry...
