*Slams her office door behind her and strides towards her desk where she huffily sits down. Frowning, she sorts all notes and parchment on her desk before helping herself to some tea that was already on her desk beside her biscuits.* *Sighs in contentment as she takes a chocolate biscuit*

Dear Miss Lovegood,
I know from past events that we have never gotten along, but I also know that you were always in particular favour of my kitten plates. As I am purchasing a new series of plates and would not like to see the old ones going to waste, I ask you if you would like to take them off my hands, free of course. It would be such a sorry sight to see them go to someone who did not like them as much as you do.
Sincerly
Dolores Umbridge
*Ties the letter to the leg of her snotty barn owl, sends her off before sitting down behind her desk and read the Prophet*

*finishes the Prophet, deeply not amused with it. There was never any interesting stories such as attacks, murders or escaped prisoners anymore. It was things like 'my cats stuck up that tree', and 'I set fire to my broomstick!'.*
"Hmph!"
*Throws the paper in her recycle bin which munched it up quite happily, before deciding to take a walk*

A small, fluffy owl flew in with a letter.
Professor Umbridge,
I'm sorry to hear about your kitten plates, I'm sure they're feeling quite sad right now, knowing that they're no longer wanted. But of course I will take them and give them a loving home.
If you would like for me to come and get them, please send me back an owl with a date and time.
Thanks so much, Luna
P.S. I hope that you haven't died in the time that has passed since you've written me... Though, I know for a fact that Harry and about eighty others have been wishing death upon you for quite some time, now. But don't let that get you down! I'm sure they'd want the Centaurs to help, so when you really think about it, it's not that bad!

*Scribbled a quick reply*
Miss Lovegood,
Thank you for taking the plates off of my hands. If you would like to collect them then they shall be packed and ready to go by 6pm GMT tonight, Monday, if you are available to pick them up.
Sincerely
Dolores Umbridge
*Ignores the comment on Potter and the centaurs, the memories were still fresh in her mind*
*sends the owl off and starts to pack the plates*

Luna skipped up to her former professor's door and knocked. She skipped around in small circles while she waited.

*answers the door, knowing who it would be*
"Ah Miss Lovegood. Please come in"
*smiles as she beckons Luna into her office*

Luna stopped skipping and looked over at the toad-like woman standing in the doorway.
"Professor Umbridge!"
She jumped and hugged her, then walked into her office, slightly blinded by the pink.

*slightly stunned at Luna hugging her, but accepts it, she knows what she is like*
*closes the door behind Luna and walks towards her desk to finish wrapping the plates*
"Help yourself to some biscuits if you like while I finish with this box." indicating to the plate of biscuits

Luna smiled.
"Oh, no thank you. Daddy wouldn't want me to ruin supper."
She twirled around in circles, staring up at the ceiling, then finally stopped when she became slightly dizzy.
"So how have you been, Professor? Have you talked to the Centaurs lately?"

*nodded as Luna refused the biscuits. She understood about not wanting to spoil her appetite*
*puts the finishing touches to the box of plates but stops when Luna mentions the centaurs*
"I..I...um..no, I've not been in contact with the centaurs lately. To be honest, I try and um, stay away from them...after...after what happened. My fault of course, it just takes a while to get over these things..."
*gives a weak smile to Luna*
"Now, there's two boxes of plates. You be sure to take care of them you hear?"

Luna blinked, then frowned.
"I'm sure they'd love to have you back for a cup of tea. They're really quite nice, you know, when there's not someone there to call them 'filthy half-breeds'."
She smiled, then skipped over and tried to lift both of the boxes at once. She managed, but just barely.
"So, I... I guess I'll see you around sometime, then? Perhaps we can go visit the Centaurs together. I'm sure they'd love to see you again!"
Luna smiled once more, then tried to wave, though the boxes wouldn't allow her.
"And I'll take good care of them. I promise."

*smiled as Luna turned to leave. Perhaps it would be nice to see the centaurs again, she had appoligised to them several times before and she would feel alot better if someone was with her. Perhaps*
"Perhaps we can visit them sometimes. And Miss Lovegood you are welcome to visit me any time you wish. Your company is rather pleasant."

Luna smiled widely, her knees shaking slightly under the weight of the boxes.
"Yes, we will have to go and see them."
She was surprised that Professor Umbridge was somewhat inviting her back.
"Well, I still haven't forgiven you for calling Professor Lupin a 'dangerous half-breed', or for taking over Hogwarts, or for using those awful quills, or for torturing Harry... But should you ever get lonely, send me an owl and I'll come. Even the most evil of people shouldn't be lonely- it really is a terrible feeling..."
She smiled, then walked to the door. Luna set the boxes down, waved, then pushed them out the door with her foot.
"Bye!"
She closed the door, picked up the boxes, then set off for the Atrium.
