*She reads it as the owl flies away, puts her book to one side then hurries downstairs to her desk*

*Opens a drawer and places the note in it then frowns*

*Runs back upstairs, clutching her towel around her, retrieves her wand from the discarded robes, rushes back down the stairs and magically unlocks a drawer*

*Opens the drawer and retrieves her diary*

May 2nd:

8 o clock: Visit mother - France

3 o clock: Alter scripts for saturday's edition - Office

5 o clock: Harry Potter Interview - Three Broomsticks

*Returns the diary to its drawer*

*Makes sure the doors and windows are locked then trudges up the stairs and collapses into bed, throwing the towel onto the armchair*

*Falls quickly into a deep, dreamless sleep*

*Wakes up dresses and disapparates*

*Apparates in front of the fireplace, takes cloak from a cupboad beside the stairs and hurries out of the door*

*Trudges back through the door, hangs up her cloak and sits behind the desk, magically unlocking her diary drawer*

May 3rd:

3 o clock: Alter scripts for saturday's edition - Office

*Replaces the diary, locks the drawer and pulls a slip of parchment towards her*
