Well, I suppose I just wondered what the neighborly hospitality was like in this area.

I've only really talked to one person since I arrived in England and i must say I wasn't too taken with him. I'm sure you've heard of him...Harry Potter.

*Settles herself in an armchair beside the fire and raises an eyebrow*

*undoes the first few buttons of his shirt*

Must we talk about Potter? I find him to be a bore. You on the other hand pique my interest quite a bit.

*Stands up and walks to a drinks cabinet behind her desk trying to mask a grin*

*watches the sway of her hips as she walks*

*Pours him a cognac and herself a firewhisky, turns and hands him his drink*

*Stands by the fire leaning on the mantle, absentmindedly twirling her hair*

So, what does one do in polite english sociecty after offering one's guest a drink?

*takes a drink and chuckles*

You're mistaken if you think I'm polite. But, what would generally happen would be witty banter. Not that conversation bores me, but I find other things far more interesting.

Ah, I see I was mistaken. By the way you've acted thisevening, I was under the impression that you are a gentleman and would never put me in a situation that would compromise my good reputation.

*Licks her lips, winks then lets out a silvery laugh and turns to throw another log on the fire*

You have a good reputation? That's rather too bad. But I'm sure you'll find me to be quite the gentleman when I want to be.

I hear you know the Malfoys. Man of connections, eh? As I mentioned, I've met nobody that interesting so far...

I find my job quite a hinderence as no one seems to trust that I won't put them down in some artical or other.

*Looks down and sniffs but quickly regains her calm and look back up at him*
