Remus rushed into Tonks' hospital room after receiving her Patronus. He let out a sigh of relief at seeing her sitting on her bed, talking to George, then walked over to them.
"Dora, are you alright? I got your Patronus- almost gave me a heart attack."
He then remembered that George was also standing there, so he smiled weakly over at him.
"Hello, George."

I just came to see that you're alright, you shouldn't send patronus' shadily saying you've been munched on by a vampire, you know, it does nothing for one's heart *rubs chest*
I need to get back to Ginny, so take care, both of you. *firmly* No more vampires.

Remus walked over and sat beside Tonks on the bed after George left. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her close for fear she might slip away.
"Just a scratch? From what? What would dare to scratch you with your amazing Auror abilities and lack of clumsiness?"
He laughed at his last comment, hoping, yet knowing, that she wouldn't take him seriously.

A vampire. I was so scared... He just came up behind me while I was watching headquarters, and he grabbed my hand.
I managed to punch him though, and he let me go. He took one look at me and he ran off.

Remus gaped momentarily, though he didn't realize that he was.
"A- a vampire? In Grimmauld Place? How- ?"
His worry quickly faded into happiness when she mentioned punching the vampire.
"You and your amazing skills..."
He kissed her gently on her forehead and smiled.

I know, it's so weird! There's no history of vampires in that part of the city.

Remus thought for a moment, then shook his head.
"I haven't the foggiest what he meant, either, then."
He sighed lightly, then took to running his hand soothingly up and down her back.
"Anyway, that doesn't matter now. What matters is that you're safe, and you are- now, at least."

All I kept thinking was, "You're not getting me, mate! How could I ever explain it to Remus!"
**Looks at Remus and grins sheepishly, pointing at the smooth skin on her neck**
He didn't even leave a scar. They healed it instantly. And you're right, but first thing tomorrow I'm going back to work. I want that git caught, and I want to get the first hex in before they...
**Pauses**
Oh wait... They can't send him to Azkaban, can they? Not any more.

Remus laughed quietly.
"I would understand if you had to explain it to me, love... Even I have the need to bite something, though a neck wouldn't be first on my list... Maybe a bone or something."
He winked, but quickly shook his head.
"No. You're not going back to work for a little while yet."
He became short of words momentarily, remembering that Azkaban had simply disappeared.
"Well, they can send him to me. I'd be more than pleased to hex him up a bit. Nobody hurts my Dora."
He smiled, then squeezed her reassuringly, thinking of all the things he would like to do to this vampire if he ever met him.

Remus, I've been thinking... It's so dangerous lately, I'd rather not put off the wedding for too long. Who knows how long we might have before everything really kicks off and things get too dangerous to think about something like that?

"Well, I'm leaving the planning up to you- I'm not any good when it comes to things like that."
He laughed for a moment.
"Don't go planning out anything overly extravagant or big, mind you."
