[P] Quidditch Practice {Open to ALL}

[Johanna Vane]

*climbs out of the castle and looks up at the fluffy white clouds and the bright blue sky. It was a perfect day for self improvement in her Quidditch skills*

*she lugs out the trunk of quidditch supplies and her nimbus 2004 in her pink, cotton, work out capris and her white wife tank top. She slowly opens the box and snaps the bludger straps off. With a bolt they spring up and she leaps onto her broom and watches as the ball flies toward her. She swings her bat with all her might and hits it with a deafining crack*

[Sebastian Bordeaux]

*casually strolls into the quidditch pitch, wearing a long black pea coat over tight gray trousers and knee-high dragon hide boots*

*raises eyes to the Gryffindor girl, looking confused*

What are you doing all alone here, little one?

*squints at the sun's brightness as he watches her*

[Johanna Vane]

*looks down at the voice from the ground and recognizes the Slytherin boy from class*

Practicing

*sees the bludger flying back toward her and swings again before looking back at Sebastian*

And you?

[Sebastian Bordeaux]

*drawls back* Just watching. Is that a crime?

*pauses*

I was looking for the lake actually, but this will have to do.

[Johanna Vane]

*shakes head*

No

*smiles, voice not holding a trace of dislike or rudeness*

I'm sure the lake is more interesting though. All I'm doing is hitting balls

*the bludger flies back and she hits it, making it go into the trees and get itself stuck*

Oh grr...

*laughs*

*blinks twice, still not enjoying the sun*

*casually* You could stop, you know. I never did care for Quidditch...I'm not the outdoor type.

*straightens his stiff black jacket with a smirk*

*tightens her legs around the broom so she wouldn't fall off and hangs upside down so she can face him*

But what fun would that be?

*pulls her hair into a pony tail, or tries to at least*

If you're not out doorsie what are you doing out here?

[Sebastian Bordeaux]

*shrugs elegantly, blowing a jet of air at the hair in his eyes*

I dunno. Didn't feel like drinking I suppose.

But it's still as bright as ever out here. I fancied a swim actually...even if the lake is always cold.

*cocks his head to the side*

You look like a bat, upside down like that... *half-smiles*

You drink? I wish I could, my sister locks the liquor cabnet

*laughs*

I'm sure I do, but My head's starting to hurt

*flips back up and almost falls off as the blood rushes from her head*

I've never swam in the lake, terrified that the giant squid's going to pull me under

Well you can always buy liquor from me. My parents send me a case of wine nearly every day. They run a winery in France.

*reaches for the broom handle, expression unreadable*

Get off that blasted thing, it's much more fun on the ground.

Really? I'll have to take you up on that offer some time

*lifts an eyebrow with a smirk*

oh, and what's so fun on the ground?

[Sebastian Bordeaux]

*meets her gaze with a devious one*

You can better appreciate me, of course. Feel free to count all my eyelashes if you must. I'm technically still a stranger, as you don't know my name yet. So don't feel guilty for staring.

*pulls the broom an inch closer to the ground*

*lifts both her eyebrows and keeps her smirk*

and what makes you think I'm so easily dazzled by your appearance?

*tightens grip on the broom as he lowers it to keep from falling off*

*jerks the broom lower again*

*whispers* Because...most people are.

*tosses his hair out of his eyes with his fingers*

*stiffles a giggle as he whispers, getting drawn in a bit with his accent*

*bites the inside of her lip*
