Reason for wanting non-cannon: I love the idea of this character,she's not considered cannon however she is related to a cannon character and I love her sister!

Very Breif background of Character: Astoria is the younger sister of Daphne Greengrass. She comes from a pureblood family and looks up to her sister for everything. They are rather close, and Astoria is always coming to her big sister for advice. She believes in everything that the Dark Lord stands for and is ready to do what she can for the cause in anyway possible. She graduated at the top of her class, passing both her O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s with all Os. She is now out of school and is now training to be a healer. She figures that it might be helpful to know such things.

Reason for wanting a non-canon: Well, the canon I was originally aiming for was taken, but I have created a character that I have been wanting to roleplay with on a good site for ages.
Name of Character: Clarissa White
Male or Female: Female

Occupation of Character: Hogwarts Student
Age of Character: Sixteen

Brief Background:
Clarissa was the only child of Alexander and Serena White. Born into a middle-class life, the White family supported the reign of Lord Voldemort, becoming Death Eaters themselves and performing any task that was set for them. Clarissa was a mere five years of age when Aurors stormed into their little cottage home upon a hill, hidden amongst the thick trees of a forest. They convicted Alexander and Serena of being Death Eaters, demanding their removal from the household to Azkaban Prison. Of course, the Aurors wanted information, but neither parent would cave. They put up a good fight, but were killed in their efforts before Clarissa. The little girl was removed and brought to a local wizarding orphanage, where she spent the remainder of her years as a child.

She absolutely despised the orphanage. She hated the mistresses and loathed the other kids whom were always so...happy. She naturally grew bitter and cold, wanting nothing but peace and solitude. She did, however, develope a peculiar personality that baffled even the mistresses. She is nonchalant, carefree. She holds a high air of dignity and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She doesn't care much for others except perhaps a select few, but even they usually find no mercy. Tormenting is fun when she is bored and doesn't mind instilling fear in anyone she pleases. Many other Slytherins just heed to her and attempt to get on her good side. That task is not easy because she is very reserved and doesn't like to be around people. Therefore, she rarely speaks conversationally to them. In essence, it is rare to find her speaking to anybody, and her carefree composure is what seems to perplex others. Death does not disturb her, yet neither does love or affection of others. She never showed preferences in people, and her ability to keep a straight face, erasing even the slightest of emotion from it always worked in her favor, perplexing even the sharpest of eyes.

She attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with this type of attitude. She found it a type of haven, especially when she compared it to the rundown makeshift orphanage she was used to. She kept to herself, and throughout her six years, she neither made friends nor enemies. People admired her while others loathed her presence. They hated her voice that never showed a care in the world, but she never cared much. She never paid attention to the publicity or rumors created about her, for there were so many - particularly about her past. Never once had she told a soul about what happened to her, where she lived, or how she was brought up.

Reason for wanting non-canon: I have played this character a long time and dislike playing canon characters for the fact that with most characters you have to stick to the books very closely. I like to use my imagination and respond how my character would feel not how jkr says.

Very Brief background of character: Harriate was left on the door to an orphanage after she was born with no knowledge of who her parents are. She had a twin brother who died when they were nine in a fire. She ran away from the orphanage after her twins death and lived on londons streets for a few months before she was found and taken back.

Name means: Beautiful Snake

Blood Type: pureblood
Occupation: student (being recruited by death eaters)
Reason: I created this particular character to represent winds of change among the Death Eaters. The sort of character I wanted to play is too different from the available cannons. As such, I wouldn't be able to do the characters proper justice.
Which side?: That all depends. What's in it for her?

*Background: Venus comes from an upper-middle class family. They had to step on too many to count to reach their current status. That's the main reason that she's especially selfish and shallow. She'll only lend a hand when she'll get something in return. As such, Venus has always been a bit alone, surrounded by a crowd of fair-weather friends that come and go. She doesn't hold other people's lives or property in especially high reguard. Though she's fairly smart, she tends to hide it around her "group."

She's no different at Hogwarts. The same nights she was sorted, Venus fell into the same crowd all over again. A good deal of them are being recruited by a new upriseing of the death eaters. Venus, however, is not so easily swayed. She is by no means a "good" person, but their aims don't sound particularly appealing at the time. That doesn't mean she won't change her mind in time. . .

Ok both accepted though Venus, non canon students aren't being recruited as DE's as their powers can no way be advanced enough at that age, and I'd quite like one of you two to be something other than Slytherin as we have had so many Slytherins applying lately and the balance is right off.

Very Brief background of character: Penny and Josh's mother left them when he was born so penny pretty much raised him every summer. She loves him very much and has always been appart of his life. They write often and has not yet begun Hogwarts because she wanted him to be home schooled to be out of harms way. After his caregiver disapeared under suspisious circumstances he owled her and she sent him back to thier father untill she can collect him and set him up at Hogwarts. They are very close and she worrrys about him constantly. Their father has suffered from depression since his wife left him 12 years ago and although penny loves and respects him she is worried he wont be able to properly care for josh.

Very Brief background of character: Sara was born in America but moved to England when she turned 10. Her mother is a desendant of a line of witches known as the Cromwells. They were victims of the Salem Witch Trials but soon recovered to become a very wealthy and well known family. Her mother wasn't stuck up or mean but the complete opposite. Her father was strong and confident, passing those traits onto her. Before she attended Hogwarts her mother taught her meaningless spells, just to get her by for she didn't want to attract attention. Her father is a british diplomat and her mother stays home.

Great, thanks for your application - please proceed to make a full character profile. I can't see for sure that you have read the Decrees? Please can you re-read them?
Also now that I have AVs and Sigs switched back on, your celeb claim isn't quite suitable - I don't know, she looks far too polished/model like and is too recognisable as the girl in Heros. We require darker tones to match the boards bg in sig banners otherwise they appear too bright on the eye.
The size also exceeds the 6cm height limit.
I can choose you a similar looking girl if you wish for an AV.

BTW You'll probably be mainly RPing in the Hogwarts section and occasionally London/Hogsmeade if you fancy.
