We are now only accepting non canon students for Hogwarts and workers for the Ministry because we have loads of canons (major/minor and semi) spare and some of them are pretty urgent.

Please see the Spare Canons thread above this one and choose one if you feel you'd like to try one that is listed. Some may require a trial period. Some of the minor ones will have more artistic licence with to do as you please, since we don't really know much about them in canon. So don't be scared to try a canon out!

Continuing with a non-canon application
We are placing a temporary ban on pureblood non-canons because real pureblood families are meant to be on the decline! If you find it imperative to be pureblooded, you may apply but please be prepared for us to ask you to amend.

We are not accepting any more Veela, vampires or werewolves 'part' bloods.

Non-canon Death Eaters are also limited. Again you may want to ask anyway. We have spare canon DEs available.

We also need younger children and older characters to apply, as most characters here are the same age, just to make things nice and varied. Please no more orphaned non canons/parents died when young - every single application for a while had this in their character background, and we are now looking for something a little different.

Non canons we need:

Reason: this is my RP char for every other place i go, even day-to-day chat with my friends.
Which side?: depends on how shes feeling.

*Background: Bane's parents ruled over a clan of Vampires, Werewolves, and Dampires. Her mother is evil, serious evil!! Her father is the kindest werewolf you would ever meet. Bane's mother didn't teach her to resist her vamp blood and in the end when she came of age and gained her wolf/vamp powers she killed her father. Dear mother told her it was OK and said it showed she would make a good leader, but Bane feels worthless so she abandons her clan, all those faithful to her father and herself followed. She is more of a wanderer so she leaves the pack under her brothers rule. Terebro is a rouge werewolf who never had a pack. He is a bounty hunter and was sent after Bane. But when he had the chance to kill her, he couldn't, he had fallen in love. Later after Imber(banes best friend, and a dragon animagus) dies Bane and Terebro take Imber's children to raise. The dragons feel she is unworthy so they have them hunted down and captured. They kill Terebro, but by Bane's own hand. Bane is running from them.

Background The day that Jennifer and Charlie Larson brought their youngest daughter home from the wizarding hospital was the best day of their lives; they just didn't know it yet. No matter that they had brought home Emily Larson five years before or that they would continue to add on to this fortuned family as time continued on, because Sydney was their best daughter. At least, she believed so.

Through growing up, Sydney was raised as any other magical family would raise their children. Sydney and Emily were in the shop with their mother by day, and they retired to their manor at night. When Sydney turned four, she began instruction with private tutors to learn the basics of life; reading, writing, language development, et cetera. When she was seven, her mother finally decided to allow her to learn magic. Another tutor was hired, and she was instructed on the basics on how to successfully practice simple spells such as how to turn her hair pink, or to make a light object levitate, which were sucessful after many attempts and twelve or so tables set on fire.

Emily, Sydney, Lyrika, and Amanda were very well known around the wizarding realm, known mostly as 'The Larson Girls' or 'The Larson Bunch'. It was quite a sight to see them all; they were all very well-kept young girls. Their hair ranged from dirty blonde on the eldest to a mahogany brown on the youngest. Sydney was somewhat in the middle and stood out more than her sisters; she had many red tones in her brown hair. All also possessed captivating grey eyes, eyes in which looked almost surreal on all four of them. In different light, though, her eyes did appear a lighter grey-green.

Blood type: part vampire, mostly witch
Occupation of character: Aspiring Death Eater
Reason for creating new character: Vampires aren't really well represented here, and would be a boon to Voldemort's side.
Which 'side' is character on? The Dark Lord's.
Background of character: Sanguini's half witch daughter. (Sanguini is the vampire at Slughorn's Party in HP&THBP) Currently 21 years old, but not likely to get much older thanks to her vampiric blood. Hard to get a "normal" job between the part vampire thing and the daddy being a vampire thing.

Educated privately by her parents, so never went to Hogwarts or any other school. Sat exams in Hogwarts, but that's it!

Which 'side' is character on?: Im all dark, like it or not.
Background of character: Kristof is from America. His father was a werewolf, though his mother was a witch. The male werewolves (Alpha male in this case) passes the gene down only to their sons, therefor making Kristof half and half. He accidentally killed both his parents at the age of 16 during a change gone wrong.
He's been a wanderer ever since that day and is now the age of 23. He has trained himself quite well over the past few year, and now has full control over his changes.

Background of character:

Opal Ivy Wulfrunia is the only daughter of Lord Wulfrunia, the last in the line of noble Wulfrunians who live in a small hamlet in England. He owns a shop that specialises in “all things wolf” and helps to run a sanctuary for abandoned familiars and orphaned cubs. He is married to a now retired witch, Patricia, who is now a lady of leisure but rather strict over her daughter’s upbringing and is often heard in Howlers to both her daughter and the teachers at Hogwarts.

It is thought that Opal has her ability to swim under water for a long time from her mother’s side and it has been said she has slight mer-tendancies but Opal refuses to believe this and prefers to quote herself as pure witch. This is disputed and her mother had final say on her Hogwarts application some years ago.

Opal is a happy go lucky girl with a tendancy to become infatuated with possibly unsuitable suitors! She currently has a crush on Barty Crouch Jnr BUT she has known to be lost for words when she meets her crush. She studies hard due to the pressure from her mother but still has time to enjoy life. She has no idea what she wants to do career-wise in the future but hopes that it does not involve running her father’s shop once he retires.

Reason for creating new character: Hey, what can I say- I love to roleplay. It's a refreshing change to stumble upon a roleplay that isn't about the five plus paragraph posts, and something that is easier to enjoy and has faster plots moving through.
Which 'side' is character on?: Her family supports the Dark Lord.
Background of character: The Roisens are and old wizarding family of traditions, and the traditions they still carry on. Juliette was the second Roisen child, and the youngest. She was born to much grief that another male heir was not achieved. While most parents would try again, having a girl is bad luck to any suitable male heir after her would be born. So, Juliette grew up in the shadows- only truly talking to her older brother Christian. She was merely a product of her parents, something they showed off to all of her friends. What more could you expect from a pureblood family though?

When she was eleven, she received her letter to Hogwarts like the rest in her year. Here, she made friends and enemies of all sorts- always falling back into her brothers arms when she failed at something. After her fourth year, she no longer had him to catch her when she fell- as her had graduated from the school. The next two years she started keeping to herself, worry washing over her as she wondered if she could ever do something great.

Over the past year or so, Juliette has decided to go back to her old ways- and to step into the light once more. She wants to be the center of attention again, to control the society around her. Juliette wants to make her name known, and to prove a point to her family that sometimes girls aren’t such bad luck.
