Background of character:
Amy Contessa Wolf, a deadly beautiful youth with a era of one who plays the 'pure blood' role but is actually a half blood (even though she does not know it). Amy was born in the proud manor of the famous Daaé family (yes it's phantom of the opera/Harry Potter mix!) However her mother Christine died in child birth, her father Raul Wolf, a muggle born, was "tragically" found dead on the streets of Paris. The Daaé family unknowing of what to do with this half blooded baby girl was sent to the less liking of the family member, a man by the name of Augustus Daaé. They told her to admit that Amy's mother was indeed a Daaé but they told Augustus that the "Wolf" which was to be her surname came from the famous German line of "Wolfe" it was just spelled differently due to her mothers lack of sense during child birth.

So life went on and Amy Wolf lived with her Uncle for eleven years. When it came time for her to get her letter from Hogwarts, Amy arrived in second hand robes (her uncle was keeping all the money the family had sent to himself) and was sorted into Gryffindor for her sense of pride and brave attitude. On the summer of her 5th year she arrived at an unusual manor in the forest, the Malfoy manor which now leads us to our story...

Background of character: Aurora attended Hogwarts when she was younger. After graduation, she travelled the U.S. in search of new and loyal followers of The Dark Lord. About the time she turned eighteen, she was sent back to Europe to train and learn new things from the followers based there. It was suggested that she come to Malfoy Manor so she's hopefully going to stay there.

Aurora - ideally you need to wait for your character to be approved before putting up a profile! I will take a closer look at your profile tonight. The last bit you mention about ' It was suggested that she come to Malfoy Manor. So there she is staying.' makes it sound like it's already happened - but you unfortunately can't just appear in the manor as if you'd been living there all this time, since none of the other guests have seen you around and no one has mentioned you. Change it to future tense?

Background of character: The oldest of four daughters, Seraphina has felt the pressure to excel from an early age- with no sons as heirs, her parents expected nothing less from her or her three sisters. Each one with her own distinct personality, Seraphina is fire personified, in the very essence, true to her name. Strong, cunning, resourceful, and gifted in the Dark Arts, this headstrong seventeen year old is not one to cross. Now in her final year at Hogwarts, Seraphina will soon be ready to join the fight against the opposition of the Dark Lord.

Reason for creating new character: I feel that if I do a canon character, I might not do justice upon that certain character. So to be safe, I decided to play as a non-canon character instead.

Which 'side' is character on?: Because of family pressure, Lyra had to be at the Dark Lord's side even though deep inside her, she does not want to pick a side [in other words, neutral].

Background of character: The Sinclaire family is one of those families that have lived their lives in dedication to learning Dark Arts. So it is of no surprise to the public that the Sinclaires would go on and side with the Dark Lord and feared in the community, like most of the pureblood wizarding families.

Lyra’s parents were strict, and they very much wanted her and her older brother to learn the Dark Arts so that in time, they can go and serve the Dark Lord. Without much choice, the Sinclaire siblings (Lyra and her brother, Caleb) went on and learned the ways of the Dark Arts, even though it was not their pleasure to do so. Of course, this brought joy to their parents for it was only their dream to see their children following in their footsteps.

While growing up, Lyra learned some things about the world: how the Dark Lord tormented innocent people, and the chaos he brought upon. This was how she came to doubt whether or not she should go on with the family tradition or not. Part of her wanted to get away with it, yet the other part of her wanted to stay, for family’s sake. With this, confusion developed within her and made her not to pick any side to side on. Though a bit confused, she tries her best to excel in academic stuff just so she could take her mind of the things that have been boggling her for a long time. And with that, she vowed to herself that she’d find an answer soon, hoping that it would somehow satisfy her.

Reason for creating new character: I don’t feel I can adequately portray most cannon characters. Most I recognized on the list were either older than I have experience to speak for and thus roleplay as or they were guys, which I have no experience as and feel I would be sufficiently weak in describing anything, or they had a darker connotation than that of the character I have created.
Which 'side' is character on? (can be neutral if you wish): Caleigh has always been a good-intentioned girl, but with her recent losses has gone to the dark side, though she doesn’t think she could ever kill and is closer to neutral than a radical dark position.
Background of character:
Caleigh is quiet, intelligent and brave. The tiny blonde is also creative, in the musical sense, hates society’s opression, and is a rabid reader. Though one may think bravery and a certain quietness cancel one another out they simply don’t. In her quietness, it takes much before she is provoked enough to blatantly act meanly towards another, similarly, she is very out going around her family and mates, but to those she doesn’t know, this free spirited Irish daughter of six, appears shy. The girl knows hardly anything concerning magic and will spend time outside with her beloved horses and dogs before studying more about it. She constantly is marked with scars and new scrapes and bruises; it’s the only way she knows how to live. Despite family pressures, Caleigh does as she pleases- it’s her life, and if her heart rests upon ignoring pressures to receive the best of marks, then she will be a disappointment. No one would ever dare say this to her, she is sensitive, with every right to be. Her eldest brother and twin sister were killed in an automobile accident last year and since she hasn’t been the same. Consumed with grief, her Mum left her family and her older cousin, Gavin came to help her family… from him, she was finally convinced to attend a knew school. She is much ready to leave her family and desperately seeks a new change to figure out her life.

She needed to move on, she needed to grow. And through all that there were to be tears and smiles, pain and those glorious days which fill your heart with something more- the feeling that life, would indeed be okay. With memories, she embarked upon her journey to rediscover who she was.

Caleigh is sixteen years old. She was home schooled until recently and thus didn’t have the freedom a place like Hogwarts provides to practice magic, for fear of muggles seeing. She grew up on a very small farm in Northern Ireland and preferred spending her time outside to studying. As of late she has become more dedicated and her skills have been catching up to where her grade level should be. For clarification, and if it would be easier she could be caught up when she transfers to the school.

She doesn't sound like a Slytherin at all. Should I put you in Gryffindor?
Also, yes please specify how long she's been at Hogwarts - I am sure she would have learnt the basics by now but still more behind than the others. This might sound obvious, but Caleigh has to 'live' in Hogwarts if she is going to be a student there.
