Background of character: Jacqueline was born into one of those 'perfect' households. She was an only child and spoiled. Treated like a puffy princess most of her life, Jackie attended Beauxbatons. When her parents were killed in her last year in a muggle car crash, she went into heave depression, putting distance between herself and her old life. She's still rich, and lives in her parents house. She doesn't know any of her other family. Her parents were so self centered, they never visited or got visits from family members.

The more angry she got, the more she began drifting toward becoming an undercover hit wizard. She's very sneaky, quiet, and vicious. Aspiring to one day be recruited to be a Death Eater

Reason for wanting non-canon: I prefer to play non-canon, though if my activity proves to be open (I am just getting a new puppy, so) I will seek a canon character.

Blood type: Half Blood (Though she is unaware of this, believing she is a Pure Blood witch)

Occupation of character: Shop Supplier (She brings in shipments of oddities for Borgin and Burkes)

Which 'side' is character on?: Dark at heart.

Very Brief background of character:

Sylvan was born in Patras, Greece to Graven and Alyon Thails. The blood line of the Thails is tractable several generations as Pure Blood wizards that have held and excellent reputation as wizards one should step lightly around. That being said, there is a very dark secret in the family that only one member is aware of. The very proud Pure Blood lineage is now tarnished.

Arleth Thails, Sylvan's grandmother, had a tryst with a muggle man. From it came a pregnancy due to a faulty conception draught. Arleth and her husband Articus had been trying to have a child for some time. So Arleth kept her teeth together on the matter and had the child. A baby boy they named Graven and raised with every ounce the nobility the line had previous.

Sylvan turned out to be every ounce the talented wizard her father and mother are. A head for potions and a talent with counter spells that ended up flooring her dueling trainer when she was home on break.Graduating her school in Athens, Greece with high marks.

During that time, however, she became interested in the story of a Dark Wizard hell bent on ruling the magical world. Deciding to travel to England with some of the artifacts her mother obsessively collects to open an oddities store. At least this is what she's told her parents. Her true motivation came with the news that the Dark Lord had returned. Hoping that she may gain his eye and perhaps prove use to him.

What sections of the board would you like to RP in?
Diagon Alley, where I would beg and plead to perhaps attain her own store. Malfoy Manor, most likely, after she learns of the reputation of the Malfoys. Anywhere, really.

Seems fine to proceed to full profile. At 23 though, perhaps a Junior/trainee hit wizard title is more realistic. Not sure how long you'd get away with being a Hit Wizard who's secretly on the Dark Side for very long though! Perhaps just stick to one side to begin with?

In your PM to me you said something about wanting to be an Auror (she may have to be a bit older if you'd like to be an Auror) but here it says you'd like to be a shop owner. Which would you prefer? If you'd like to own a shop, what kind of things would 'The Forgotten Corner' sell, so that I can tell you what is feesible?

Ah, my apologies if that came out a bit unclear!

I was merely implying that she could also be sought after as an Auror due to her exceptional dualing abilities.

'The Forgotten Corner' would work a bit as an oddities shop. Different (possibly magical, possibly not) relics found across the world by her mother and herself. There wouldn't be anything groundbreaking unless someone wanted to use the shop as a plot hook of some kind. Like a curious goods store!

Name of Character: Shunasazzi (shun~ah~saw~z) or “Shun” for short.

Reason for wanting non-canon: Because it’s too hard for me to slip into a character not of my own making. I must be allowed to be myself or I can be nothing at all. (Amendment: I wouldn't mind so much trying out a canon as well, just a little worried about how much time I really have to play)

Occupation of character: Foreign exchange student from America.

Which ‘side’ is character on?: Shun is far too open minded to be able to pick any one side and be able to firmly stick to it. While she strides for balance in her life, too many times she is thrown into conflict with her inner self and is indeed tormented by that unfortunate fact of her life.

Very Brief background of character: Born under a sign of both heavenly torment and hellacious bliss, the Gemini, Shunasazzi grew up in a hostile home devoid of any form of real love. In truth, only a small handful of peers and elders ever even seemed to give much of a damn about her. But with an undying hope of ‘something more than this’, Shunasazzi began to express herself in story and verse. After gaining notoriety from small but dedicated following for her literary works, she was able to prove before a court of law that she could take care of herself, and was therefore granted emancipation from her parents. She was also granted the right to give up sir name and has since severed all ties to it. But when pushed hard enough to give some sort of last name, she will only smile and reply, “I am The Mistress of Mayhem, Shunasazzi. And that is all you need to know.”

Now free to do as she willed, Shunasazzi fled her home in California to learn the peaceful ways of her ancestors, the Native American Indian tribes of Cherokee, Choctaw and Piute. It was amongst these tribes that Shun discovered her magical abilities. But after learning all that she could from the Indians, there was still something missing inside her heart. And so she traveled to the deep south into Bayou country where she began to learn the dark arts of Voodoo from any swamp witch that would teach her.

One night, her mentor told Shunasazzi that her destiny now lay across the sea. While apprehensive about the culture shock of another country, arrangements were made for Shun to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Upon arriving at the school, destiny did indeed deal her a fatal blow. For, from the very first glance of someone whom she refuses to name, Shunasazzi's heart was lost to him for all time. And she would take that knowledge of just whom it was to her grave.

Very Brief background of character: Livvie was born to two hard working blue collar parents, her father a mechanic, her mother a nurse. Ever since she was little she had the sense there was something different about her, and when she was seven there was an incident which proved she was. She was walking home from school one day when she was crossing a busy intersection, and a motorcycle came careening around the corner barreling straight for her. Frozen in place, shaking from fear as the motorcycle drew closer she unknowingly felt lighter, and began to float upward. With wide eyes she watched as the motorcycle sped underneath her, slamming into a great tree nearby.

Which 'side' is character on?: The side of good of course.
Very Brief background of character: Well Daisy grew up in a relitavely normal, happy life thus far. She was born in London, the youngest in her family. She absolutely idolized her middle brother, tagging along with him whenever he would allow it. Though with the age gap, by the time she was realy old enough to, he was off doing his own thing. But that was fine by her. By the time she came along, her parents were a little more relaxed on the whole bringing animals home thing, and so it was often that Daisy had little creatures running around. That and there was never a time where quite a few creatures congregated on their property outside. She also tended a garden which seemed to always grow quite nicely... Things were nice and easy for the girl and she has recently taken the position at Magical Menagerie to work with the animals she so loves.
What sections do you want to RP in: Mainly Diagon Alley, but wherever I'm wanted.

Reason for wanting non-canon: I love this site and I've been looking for somewhere to rp with my new rpc, Esmee.
Name of character: Esmee McDowell

Which 'side' is character on?: Neutral (She's good but she is loyal to her mother who is a death eater, so she often does bad things without knowing it.)
Very Brief background of character: She has bad health and is often getting sick. (Not intended to be a trauma.) And often looks pale, but her optimism shines through and she appears beautiful.

Esmee went to Hogwarts school, her best friend was Luna Lovegood. Esmee couldn't join the Quidditch team because of her health but she would secretly cheer for her crushes while watching.

Esmee's power to predict the future is not very clear, it's hard for Esmee understand the meaning of her predictions. This makes her invaluable to the Dark Lord, the only reason she is still alive is because there is hope for her yet as she gets a better understanding of her power. (Also not intended to be a trauma, she's really just supposed to be an average seer.)

Esmese. this is also fine, though perhaps a fully fledged Seer at 19 is quite young & presumably her abilities need more refining, could she perhaps find another elder, more experienced Seer to mentor her (I think someone else wanted to be an older Seer, perhaps you could join together? I’ll message them to let them know. )

Reason for wanting character: I haven't many female characters, plus I'd like to get some plots moving with a Seer.

Name of character: Rhysenn Wood

Male or female?: Female

Blood type: Halfblood

Occupation of character: Seer

Age of character: 26

Which 'side' is character on?: Believes that Seers should be completely objective, although Rhysenn sympathizes with the light side because her mother was muggleborn. She is careful to never express her views with any client.

Very Brief background of character: At a young age, Rhysenn, in an uncommonly forlorn and serious manner, announced that her owl was going to fall ill. Two days later, her owl fell ill. Rhysenn's family was delighted that her grandmother's gift had passed down to her, despite her muggleborn father's blood in her veins.

She excelled in Divination, sometimes helping to teach the class and often surpassing her teacher. After Hogwarts, she married a rich wizard and settled down. Two years later he died tragically (after dreaming that he would) and she remarried. Her second husband died just like her first. Rhysenn is hesitant to remarry, fearful that her husband would die or be killed.

Her occupation is dangerous as both sides wish to know the future in advance. She tries her best to be an objective as possible, keeping few associations, seeing predictions as her clients' property. She feels quite powerless to her gift at times, because more often than not she does not remember half of her predictions.

I really love the sound of Rhysenn and of course will accept your application. I'd love it if she did occasionally did some work for the Ministry since we technically only accept non-canon Ministry workers & students, but I'm sure you were planning to anyway!

Very Brief background of character: Dagny was raised in the US by two middle-class muggle parents. She was always a little strange. Dagny always excelled in school. Her parents received a letter from a school for the 'gifted' which turned out to be a wizarding school. She was always top of year and decided to become an Auror at a young age. She quickly rose through the ministry and was sent over to Britian to help combact the Dark Lord.

Thanks for your application. We currently don't accept American characters - I can suggest French, or Irish as alternatives if you wanted something other than English?
If she's on such high profile cases I'd make her slightly older or ensure she's of a more junior level Auror. With this in mind please create a full profile for approval and if you're a complete beginner have a look over the Beginner's Guide section if you haven't already and also please practice RP in the Newbie Lounge or enlist guidance of a Mentor if you feel you need further help.
