Reason for wanting non-canon: When registering for an account, I had a specific character in mind whom I used to roleplay. Seeing as that RP died out long, long ago, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to play her once again.
Name of character: Aphrodite Axillison
Male or female?: Female
Blood type: Halfblood. - You had a list of acceptable magical creatures, but I was hoping I might be able to venture forth and ask permission for something not included in your list? I'd like to make Aphrodite a half-fae[faerie]. I would be portraying the species as it was originally intended; as a maliciously-intented, vampire-like being who feeds off of human flesh.
Occupation of character: Durmstrang Student - this was once again not included on your list. If you find this unacceptable, I'm willing to be a Hogwarts Student. I only ask for this because it gives my character more freedom, and makes it so that you have less non-human teenagers attending the main school.
Age of character: 16.
Which 'side' is character on?: Aphrodite is entirely neutral, though she sympathizes more with the idea of blood purity, seeing as muggles tend to be relatively barbaric towards magical beings.
Very Brief background of character: During the first downfall of Voldemort, many Death Eaters fled from Europe. Vampires and dark creatures whom had sided with the Dark Lord went into hiding, to avoid being slaughtered by Aurors. Unsurprisingly, a system something like the Underground Railroad formed, leading Voldemort's followers to safety. Aphrodite, daughter of Theophilix Axillison and his fae wife Nadehzda (who had been one of the Dark Lord's half-human helpers) were two of the many supporting Russians who offered their home as a safe house. Dite spent her entire life helping allied strangers form new lives outside of Europe, growing up around crazed, escaped Death Eaters, whom she became rather close with. Now that Tom Riddle has returned, Aphrodite's parents have sent her to visit one of the most prestigious Death Eater families, so she may acquaint herself with 'their kind.'
What sections of the board would you like to RP in? I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this question, so I'm going to hope that I answer this correctly: I'd like to have access to the Malfoy Manor, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, and other Unplottable Wizarding Homes. Eventually, I might, perhaps, try to venture towards Fuilteach Castle. If this answer is incorrect, please explain to me what you're asking, and I'll reply to the best of my ability.
Who would you like to use as your avatar? I'd like to use a blonde model, though I cannot, for the life of me, find her name. I can pick someone else if you'd like.
Your level of RP in your estimation: Advanced, though I roleplay in narrative form, which, unfortunately, is not your preferred style. I've been roleplaying for almost seven years.

First of all, let me welcome you to MM. We are always pleased to see seasoned RPrs join our forum.

With that being said... From your application I can gather that you have a well-set preconceived character that you are wanting to bring in "as is", but we have clear rules as to what types of characters and/or creatures we are accepting. Unfortunately we cannot bend those rules for one applicant without seeming inconsistent or unfair. And we have very special reasons for not allowing such types of beings (ie. fairies, mermaids, vampires, etc.) in the first place. (Canon = most important) So basically, no. I'm sorry but this character cannot be approved.

I'd love to see you apply again, though. Like I said before, we like having experienced RPrs join our ranks. And your style shouldn't be an issue as long as you make it to where it is easy for others to follow. We have loads of available canons to choose from. And semi-canons as well, which give you a bit more artistic license. Or you are more than welcome to try again with a non-canon if you prefer. Just make sure you stick to what's allowed, okay?

Very Brief background of character:She was born too Alice Prince and an unknown muggle. That makes her a descant relative to Severus Snape. She got accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of 11. She got sorted into Slytherin, because of her clever mind, cunning abilities, and ambitious instinct. Finished her 5th year(starting her 6th). Very gifted in potions and D.A. Excellent at curses and jinxes and a skilled duelist. Likes Quidditch, but not so good at it. Member of the Hogwarts school choir.

1) She's too skilled. Potions and duelling are both very hard to master even for fully grown adults. You can read here for more guidelines about creating your character.

2) We're not accepting non-canon relatives of canon characters...sorry. But you are welcome to keep the surname Prince as long as she's not "attached" to Snape in any way.

Very Brief background of character:
Cianna has had a good upbringing....full of dramatic teenage angst and rebellion but at the end of the day she loves her family. Both parents work for the ministry and in the Order of the Pheonix only as people who provide information. They do not fight and it's not because they do not want to, they just know they're not strong enough to be reliable and helpful. Her brother though is an auror and he does fight with the OOTP. She plans on following in his footsteps and admires him...although his superiority complex is a bit annoying. She is fantastic in DADA but lacks in Potions, History of Magic, and Herbology.

Very Brief background of character: Her mother was sent to Australia where her family was because her side of the family were all muggles. Sirius Black is her father and wanted to protect her mother and she since she was not born yet. She was sent to the Australian Magic school and received all of her personality from her father. She even became a black panther anamagi. When she found out about her father's innocence and death she left her home, to her mother's dismay, and took a plane to England. She was an Auror for the Ministry in Australia so she applied for and received the same job at the Ministry in England. She came to England so that she may hopefully find out everything she can about her father and that side of the family.

I'm afraid that I can't approve your character as it is. We aim to keep things as canon as possible so please reconsider making the following changes.

- First and foremost, we do not accept non-canon relatives of canon characters. Sirius Black never had his own family.
- No characters from Australia or the States. They need to be European, preferably British.
- By "Blood Type" we mean whether you are muggle born, a half-blood, or a pureblood.
- Animagi are extremely rare. And we don't usually allow them unless they are much older.
- A 19 year old would not be a fully-fledged Auror. It takes years upon years of training and excellent skills to achieve such a position. So please make her older or say that she is in training. If you wish, you can use our Pinboard to request from one of our active Aurors to take you on as their apprentice. (After your character has been approved, of course. )
- Lastly, we cannot grant you access to Grimmauld Place as it is only known by Order of the Phoenix members and their families - or if you are invited.


You are more than welcome to make her a seasoned Auror who had been working abroad or something to that effect if you don't want to be an apprentice. Just make sure you adjust her age appropriately. Or...just make the changes to fit your preferences. It's up to you.

Which 'side' is character on?: Light. Arcangelo is Amberlin's younger brother, and has always wanted to follow in her footsteps from day one. But once they were both at Hogwarts (Ravenclaws, of course) and Amberlin's attitude became shockingly obvious- she was harsh, rude, cold, and more than slightly heartless in his eyes- he made a vow to himself that he'd finally try being himself. Old habits die hard so he still finds himself wandering down the same path as Amberlin, but for the most part he's kept to his promise and dives head-first into his music. He just wants to prove (mainly to himself, but he fancies that the message goes out to everyone around him) that he's Arcangelo and not "Amberlin's little brother." Complex much?

Background:Torri is the oldest girl in a family of four kids.She has an older brother ahead of her. She grew up in a close knit family of musicians. Her mother sang in a band that she formed in Hogwarts and her father was a drum player. Can anyone guess what Tori wants to be when she gets older? When her first sister was born, Tori hated having the attention shifted from her to the new baby. Over time, she grew use to the baby and just muttered her way through having two more added. Despite having two kids added into her life, Tori remained " Daddy's little princess " All she had to do when she wanted something is ask Daddy and give him the puppy dog pout. He was instant putty in her hands.

Which 'side' is character on?: She's easily swayed, and tends to fall under peer pressure.
Very Brief background of character: Both parents are magical, but to hardcore Pureblood-supremists, the fact that her grandmother on her father's side makes her a half-blood. Mabel was sorted into Slytherin against her family's wishes (Mabel comes from a long line of Gryffindor Alumni) but acted as if she'd planned on being a Slytherin all along. Her jealousy of other Gryffindor students is often confused for hate, as the two Houses are constantly fighting. Other than that, she doesn't have a tragic past nor does she plan on joining the Light or the Dark side: the fact that her grandmother's a Muggle keeps her from siding with the Dark Lord, while she refuses to work against him to keep up with Slytherin expectations. Arcangelo Harlow is one of her good friends yet she stubbornly refuses to listen to his reasoning whenever he warns her of the danger of her fellow Housemates.

Very Brief background of character: Vane is the middle child of five, and rather loud because of it. Always being spoken over tends to cause a child to invent all sorts of ways to gain attention. He does enjoy a good practical joke or two, but more often than not when he's the one pulling the prank, someone winds up in the hospital wing. But, it's all in good fun. While Vane's family does follow the word of Voldemort as if the wizard was a God, he isn't one to be so quick to take sides. What if things go bad for the 'dark-side'? Where does that leave the rest of them, locked up in Azkaban? He'd rather not land himself there. Instead, Vane would rather sit back, have loads of fun, and choose a side when it suits him, and not because Mummy and Daddy told him to.
