Please bear in mind that some major canons require trial periods (test RP) before being accepted and some will naturally have a smaller part to play than others. All canons have to be played as canon, but you will have more artistic licence with a minor canon that we don't know much about from JKR - ie you can make it your own character.

All canon characters need to be kept active otherwise they go back on the list. Your character will be considered inactive if you have not made an in-character post in 3 weeks, you may get 1 week's grace on top of that if no one else wants your character or we don't urgently need your character for something. If you would like to give up one of your non-canons to play a canon, please let us know.

I've been thinking about applying for a canon character. Is Umbridge available? I couldn't find her amongst the character profiles, and all the canon character-threads said she wasn't taken.It'd be a blast playing her!

This list in this thread is the definitive spare canon list and we try and keep it updated as much as poss.
Anyone else interest you? You can PM the current Umbridge and tell her that you're interested if she ever wanted to give her up and then you'll get first refusal.

Ah, well that's allright then. She was listed as available in the Character Directory, and not listed at all in this thread, so, naturally I got slightly confused.

I might actually fancy a go with Trelawney if she's available, but I'm not in a big ol' hurry to get another character though.

I was wondering if I could be a death eater and a student as well?
I am already on a number of RP sites I am usually Narcissa or Draco, so I would love to be evil lol.

I want a death eater for all the Dark Lords commands and a student to get around Hogwarts.

So is there any student DE's? If not could I possibly make my own character?

Hi there!
We don't normally allow under 21s to be DEs because this is pretty much unheard of except for Draco who was a young DE almost as a one-off. I can offer you an adult DE AND a student in Hogwarts.
We are pretty desperate for aurors/good side characters (esp non-canon) though, we are starting to have an inbalance now.
The canon list there is up to date, so pick your DE/student or you can go to step 3 and apply for a non-canon.
