At Malfoy Mansion, as well as sending notes to other characters via Owl post and leaving notes for others, you can also send messages via the Floo Network (non-canon), make a Floo call and by your Patronus if your character can produce a corporeal patronus.
Formatting is important so that the type of message sent can be identified.
Please use the following formats:
Owl letter : Please use either the Owl letter or owl post icon when you start your topic. If you are making a post in a thread already made, please use the Owl icons (found in the smilie box or use the shortcuts) at the top of your letter and it is better to make the text italicised or look different in some way to your normal posts.
Here are examples of posting the types of messages - please try and stick to them as much as you can remember. You can change the colours of the 'glow' (its the 'G' button in the 'add tags' above posting area) by just replacing 'red' in the code by another colour name.
Dear Mr Weasley,
Your appointment at Occular Express is overdue.

NB. If you are sending a Howler, please post the message in red and capital letters and use the icon for it in your message icon or within the message, and if you are just writing a note with a new topic, please use the small quill Message icon.

This guide refers mainly to in character messaging.
If you wish to message in private we have the Private Owl Notes too.
These will not be counted as part of the plot.
