Please read <this> thread to find out what a substitute is and what it entails before putting your name forward.
Some characters already have substitutes - please see the Spare Canons & Roles thread to see the substitutes listed.
I have listed a few of the previous players of that character as substitutes on the Spare canons thread -
If you do not want to have your name down as a substitute, please use this thread to request your name to come off.
Please note that we cannot guarantee you will get to play the character you have put your name down for, and you may still be required to have a trial period if it does ever come round to you.
Reply to this thread with the character you want to be a substitute for.
You may only choose 2 characters to be a substitute for and you must be able to potentially play them. ie. if you are a beginner to RP, you shouldn't put your name forward to be a substitute for a player that requires experience, or put your name down for a character that requires high level of activity if you only log onto Malfoy Mansion once every few months.
Please do not PM your request to be a substitute UNLESS you want to remain anonymous (in that case we won't write your name up on any threads and make a note to PM you if the character becomes free). In all other cases, please put your name forward here as this thread will be the main source of reference.
One character can have more than 1 substitute but it makes sense to have it spread out evenly ie. we don't want 5 substitutes for Harry Potter but none for Hermoine.
