Aaron's Flat

[Aaron Tayllore]

Yeah. The home of Aaron Tayllore, first months rent being paid for by seven years of nothing to spend money on and saved up in jars so he could leave as fast as possible. It didn't exactly have a mote, but it was nice, big enough for one or two people, especially him, one of the most low matienence people on the planet. Mostly it was a big front room, with a wall that went half way across the room that separated the kitchen area, and then there was a bedroom off to the left. Very fascinating.

Moving in time:

*drags in his loads and loads and loads of posessions (six boxes, five of which held nothing but his books, and his school backpack) and starts to unpack and get everything in order*

*has zero furniture, the front room bit was completely empty, there was a counter in the kitchen and he had already put a mattress in the bedroom, but nothing else*

*grins at the place, genuinely pleased with himself*

*uses his empty boxes as a chest of drawers in the bedroom and starts stacking books against the walls of the front room*

Later:

*makes a list of things to buy for his fancy new pad: Food, Towels, Soap, Dishes, Curtains, Sheets, festive food for when Holly comes to visit*

*goes shopping*

*walks back in with a bunch of bags on his arms, still obnoxiously pleased with his awesome homemaking skills*

*puts the food away (basically anything cheap, healthy, and filling, besides the stuff for Holly*

*makes the bed in the bedroom for the first time ever and collapses on it, feeling very cheerful before realizing he is unemployed*

*dumps the rest of the stuff in its proper place and heads out to visit Chris*

*stops in front of the building with Aaron*

Pretty legitimate so far. I'm this close to fully believing you have your own place.

*opens the door wide for her and walks in*

*is sitting in the middle of the floor*

*still in his "Go Ravenclaw! Eagles for the cup!" pajama bottoms*

*is not embarrassed*

Hey Chris, make some furniture for our guest. *motions toward the mound of books in the room*

*burst out laughing, as if she was just hit with a jack-in-the-box*

Hey..he...hey, Chris. Nice jam jams.

*can hardly breathe*

*grins at her*

Yeah, aren't they excellent? Wish I had thought to get a pair....

*starts making a stool for the lady of the house out of books*

*gestures for her to sit*

*is a bit turned off by the comment*

You tell me when you can afford new clothes. Why do you think I'm living with Aaron? No offence or anything mate....

*walks a bit around, mostly in a circle, actually impressed*

Right on. Bit better than our "No One Can Snake It Like A Slytherin" shirts that one year.

*comes back to stand in front of the two*

So, you flatmates?

*kicks Chris in the shins* I LET you live with me. Better than that dump you were living in before!

*laughs*

Heard 'bout those, tell me you own one...

*nods* Yep, it's really great. I sleep in there, Chris sleeps out here. Nothing special though, but I've grown on it.

*shrugs at the apartment*

Got myself a job. I forgot to tell you Aaron.

*looks very proud of himself*

I'm a working man now. But it has been getting a bit dull around here. Invite some friend over Miss Holly. We need to throw a party in order to show off our new place. Course I'll have to change first....

*takes a seat and chimes*

Well, I like it. I'm afraid to see what Yax is doing to our place. Lace and pastels and tassels, oh merlin save me.
