Vote Lucius Malfoy for Minister of Magic
{Shocking Betrayal by the Boy Who Lived}
On March 17th the Magical community was horrified to read that Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was ravaged by a terrible fire which seemed, for days, insatiable. Some of the most capable witches and wizards from both the school and the Ministry were employed to combat the blaze, however nothing would douse the flames. That is, nothing until Harry Potter, the boy who faced You Know Who at the tender age of one and lived to tell the tale, volunteered to go into the burning school and do his part to help put out the flames.
Many maintain that the fire was set by dark magic, specifically targeting Potter and his companions who were, at that time in residence at the school on the purpose of collecting information for a new, revised version of Hogwarts: A History. One thing is certain, the fire which raged through the corridors of the school was without doubt rooted in magic. Ministry wizards investigating the strange occurrence reported that although the fire had burned for days with all attempts to put it out proving futile, the flames had damaged nothing and burnt itself out no sooner than the young Potter boy entered the burning building.
For months, many believed Potter dead, until, in August, rumours began circulating about his continued health. Reports began coming in thick and fast from those who swore they'd seen the young idol around Magical areas of England and Scotland. However, there was no proof placing Potter in any of the places he'd apparently been seen, so the rumours continued to circulate, building in hysteria and redicularity. It began to be said that Harry had changed his alliance; that somehow he was transported from that fire straight to You Know Who's lair. However, with so many whispers going around no one knew what to believe. Until now.
Witch Weekly can exclusively reveal that Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, has joined the ranks of the Death Eaters and stands now at the right hand of Lord Voldemort himself!
We have evidence from a number of reliable, first hand sources which confirm this fact. A barmaid working at a local pub, wishing for security reasons to stay anonymous, told one of our reporters; "I was serving him about a month ago in *the pub*. He came in at about half seven and sat at the bar for twenty minutes or so before ordering a firewhiskey. Of course, I knew I found him familiar straight away, but it wasn't until I went to the back room, to fetch a fresh bottle of whiskey, that I knew where I recognised him from. I remembered reading the Witch Weekly article on him last year. He looked very different from the way he had in the photograph, wearing all black, with his eyes dark and sunken. Anyway, I served him the whiskey and held my hand out for the money. He rummaged around in his pockets for a while and I though he was going to make an excuse and say he didn't have any money, but then he pulled out a gold galleon and told me to keep the change! Of course, I reached out for it eagerly, and as he dropped it into my hand, his sleeve rode up. That's when I saw it: the Dark Mark..." At this point, the distraught barmaid asked to end the interview, the whole affair proving too much for her frazzled nerves.
If this is not enough proof for you, Witch Weekly can reveal that a close friend of Harry Potter encountered a sparring match between the estranged anti-hero and his former best friends, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. The witness told us she heard Potter say, "Everyone always expected me to be this wondrous, powerful wizard but I never was. Now I have real power. I can help mould this world, mould Voldemort's kingdom." This, from Potter's own lips, confirms Witch Weekly's revelation...Harry Potter has joined Lord Voldemort. No one is safe!
