I'm sorry that I haven't been at work, and I'm sorry that I couldn't owl you sooner. My parents have realized how much trouble I've gotten in through a source I had no idea she had and who still seems to be a secret. I've been a prisoner there with my brother and haven't been able to speak to anyone outside my own door in fear that I might get myself killed- according to my mother and father. If you have re-filled my position with someone else I completely understand, I just wanted you to know what happened. I am really, truely sorry.

I'm so glad to finally hear from you, I was really worried. But it's great to know that you're okay, though I am now curious about this "getting yourself killed" situation. Anyway, the job is still yours if you want it. I didn't hire anyone new because I wasn't sure what your circumstances were and when or if you'd be coming back. Business was a bit slow for a while but the holidays have brought a fresh new stream of customers so I'm sure your help will come in quite handy. I've been busy attending to other matters but I'll be in and out as usual. If you wish, you can resume your duties whenever you're ready as if you were never gone. But if you have other plans that is fine as well. Just owl me back and let me know. That way I can start looking for someone else trustworthy enough to fill the position, though I hope that's not the case.

Hahaha, yes well, I associated myself with the wrong people and they seemed to enjoy messing with me. That's all past though, from what I hear. If you'd like to get a drink sometime I can explain everything to you if you'd like. Lucky for me to have the only parents that end up tracking my every move, even after I'm deemed an adult, huh? I have no other plans, and I would love to come back, I just wanted to know before I did, just to make sure. I didn't want to scare the wits out of the newest member of the shop. I am sorry that I left without telling anyone, and I'll get back as soon as possible.

Wonderful to have you back then! And yes, catching up with you over a drink sounds lovely but I'll have to get back with you on that.
