**Chuckles, grinning from ear to ear as he orders, and pays for her cherry soda.**
"I don't know how you can drink that rubbish, never could stomach anything cherry flavored. I always stuck with the cider."
**Finishes his drink, and orders another.**
"Has it been reasonably quiet 'round here these days?"
**He asks with a dark expression, not really wanting to hear bad news, but knows if there is any it's better to have it come from a pretty witch than one of the Weasley twins.**

*Looks hesitant, and sips her drink before replying slowly.*
Well, I was in the three broom sticks the other day when a witch came in and said that an Auror had just been hit with the Cruciatus Curse. But other than that, Ive personally heard nothing. Ive been keeping very much to myself recently. I havent seen a weasley in I don't know how long, and I haven't seen Percy since I left Hogwarts.
*Lowers her voice and leans in closer*
As disloyal as this sounds I'm trying to keep myself, and my brother out of trouble. If the only way to do it is to keep out of sight and keep my head down, thats what I'll do. He's to far away for me to keep safe if I decide to openly stand with the light, so untill he goes to Hogwarts, or I can manage to get him here with me I'm staying pretty quiet.

*Always the opposite of quiet, he bursts in, letting the door swing open. He flings his arms wide and exclaims*
Did everyone miss me?
*Followed by flashing his dashing smile*

*Slips in the door, trying not to attract attention. Seeing Locckheart, her heart skipped a beat. She quickly pulled her hood up and ducked out of sight heading up to the bar. Venus rapped her knuckles on the bar calling over the bartender. She ordered some whiskey, slid down to the end of the bar, and sat there turning the glass in her hands.*

Harry slipped into the Leaky Cauldron through the rarely used muggle entrance, his heavy black hood up as usual. The idea was not to draw attention to himself, and nowadays, most people walked around with their hoods up so he was safe. He made his way through the dimly lit pub towards the bar. There were a few people perched on bar stools, but he didn't recognise anyone; at least, not the people whose faces he could see. There was a girl, he thought it was a girl at least, wearing a cloak with the hood up sitting just beside where he was approaching. He sighed, turning his eyes away from the hooded figure. "Firewhiskey," he called to the barman, slipping onto a stool.

*Sets her glass down, and lazily pushes back her hood. Venus ran a hand through her dark brown hair, pulling it over her shoulders. Her head snapped up when a man down a few seats from her spoke. She knew that voice. Picking up her drink she moved around the bar and took the seat next to him, keeping her head low.*
Still walking amongst us I see.

Harry jumped slightly as someone spoke close beside him. He turned to see the speaker. It was the hooded someone from a few seats down. Frowning slightly, he reached out a hand to push her hood back a little. "Venus?" he said softly, smiling a little. He hadn't seen her since that morning. His heart skipped a beat thinking about that night. "How are you?"

Alright, I guess. Just trying to survive from day to day.
*Takes a sip from her glass choaking a bit. She reaches up and pulls her hood the rest of the way back.*
H..how have you been? Ginny doing fine?
*takes her eyes off him and looks down at her glass. She began to think of the night they had spent together, but then her thoughts turned to the morning she saw him kissing Ginny in the kitchen. She tightened her grip on the glass, her knuckles turning white. As she did, a seering pain spread through her arm.*

Harry was about to continue making small talk when she mentioned Ginny. He froze, looking at her a little shocked. "What do you mean?" he asked quietly although he thought he knew what she was talking about. He sighed, glancing around the bar to make sure there was no one nearby to overhear their conversation. "Venus, I... It was one night..." He didn't know why he was trying to justify spending the night with Ginny to Venus. After all, in the grand scheme of thing, Venus was the other woman. And he hadn't made her any promises, but then he didn't like to think he'd hurt her...especially as she worked for the ministry. She could hand him in whenever she felt like it.

*glances to him*
Nothing..I mean nothing. It was nothing.
*sighs*
I was just wondering how she was. Am I not allowed to wonder about my friend's friend's? She's a wonderful girl ya know.
*Throws back the rest of her drink, turning the glass upside down and rapping her knuckles on the bar for another.*

Harry looked down at the bar before taking up his own firewhiskey and downing it in one. He'd become quite the experienced drinker recently. The amber whiskey hardly even burned his throat any more. "I don't know how she is," he said quietly. "I haven't talked to her for a few weeks... Well, she's not talking to me. I think she might have gone to Romania." He sighed, motioning to the barman for another drink.

*looks at her friend, a little conderned. He seemed to be drinking as much as she did. Slowly, she lay her hand on his shoulder.*
Im sorry to hear that.
*Nods as a fresh glass is set before her. She slipped her arm out from under her cloak revealing her bruised and bandaged arm. She downed the glass in one gulp, turning it over, next to the other one.*
You look like you could use a friend about now?

"A friend?" Harry asked, wondering if friendship was even possible after what had happened between them. He was about to carry on, when he noticed her arm. "What happened?" he asked, the concern obvious in his voice. The arm looked bad, very bruised, and that wasn't taking into account whatever was under the bandage.

Yes, a friend. I'm still your friend you know. Despite what conspired between us.
*looks down at her arm, turning it over. *
Oh this...Just a little battle in a graveyard with a deatheater. I've got worse.
*shrugs*

Harry narrowed his eyes for a moment. He wasn't sure if he wanted just friends. He'd had enough just friends who'd all left him when he needed them. He sighed, looking away from her. "You know who it was?" he asked. In his brief stint as a death eater, he'd met a good few of the old favourite; finally putting faces to names. He didn't like any of them; he could never forget the things they'd done, willingly, but he was willing to persevere if it meant aiming for something better. Still, Voldemort had lied to him, and betrayed him, the way he did everyone else. If Harry had thought he was special before, he knew he wasn't now.
