"Yes I did." *Her smile brightened in remembrance* She knew she'd seen him around somewhere! "House of Ravenclaw. It's no surprise if you don't recognize me, few actually do."
*A light laugh escaped* "You must be...Neville, right? I remember having you in my Herbology class." He'd always been painfully shy, though it seemed to have lessoned somewhat.

*He blinks, for a second distracted by her smile. When Tom sets their drinks down on the bar top, Neville's already reaching into his pocket for his money. He takes a bit longer than necessary to count out the right amount for his drink, using the time to flash through fellow Ravenclaw students.*
Hm...
*He picks up his drink, grinning at the mention of Herbology. He doesn't quite remember the witch yet, but that tends to happen alot with him.*
*Nods*
Neville Longbottom, and I was in Gryffindor. Sorry, maybe your name will help...Herbology had quite a few other students in it, but I think I remember you.

"Roslyn Levere...." *Turning towards the bartender, Roslyn handed him the change, and turned her attention back to Neville looking for any sign of familiarity*
"Honestly I wasn't the most social person around, so it's alright if you don't remember." *Sipping her drink lightly, she placed the small glass beside her.*

*Narrows his eyes, still racking his brain for the student profile of Roslyn.*
I didn't- I wasn't special either-
*Happens to skip over the fact that class was his highest grade and his favourite*
-but you remembered me.
*Grins, taking another drink. He looks around the pub, trying to find an empty table so they're not stuck at the bar anymore.*
D'you want to sit at table maybe?

"Sure..." *Roslyn stood, eyes still locked on Neville.* She was beginning to find his company rather refreshing...different. He wasn't like any other men she had met, granted he wasn't an ex deatheater or current deatheater in hiding. But his personality was very humble, and sweet.

*Blushes, nervously leading the way to an empty table by the wall*
Erm, well...what're you doing now you're out of Hogwarts?
*Jokingly, waiting for Roslyn to sit first*
No more Snape to worry about!
*Pauses, not able to hold back*
Did...did you like Herbology? I mean, it was plants and all.
*Stops, knowing he's ranting. Mainly, he wants to figure out if she liked the class or not- if so, they'd have a lot more to talk about.*

*Laughing at his comment and nervousness, Roslyn took her seat; glad to see chivilry isn't dead*
"I work at Flourish and Blotts, though I'll soon be changing jobs." *Nodding lightly, her face took on a thoughtful expression, before she turned; facing Neville fully addressing his question on Herbology.*
"Herbology was great I suppose. Professor Sprout taught me loads of useful skills in growing healthy, strong plants. My garden is over flowing with Roses, Lilies, and what not." *She grinned, giggling a little.* "It's surprising the aura Plants give off. How they can make things seem less gloomy. Very fortunate when living alone."

*Quirks an eyebrow, taking a seat*
Flourish and Blotts? That sounds like an...interesting job.
*Grins, almost ridiculously excited to have found another person who also likes Herbology*
Yes! Professor Sprout was one of my favourite professors, actually- Herbology's my favourite class, too.
*Shrugs, sipping his butterbeer*
I don't really have a garden, it's more like an overgrown forest. I trim them and all, but they just keep coming back!
*Mutters, more to himself*
Not that it's bad or anything, just a bit annoying sometimes.
*Blinks, adding as an afterthought*
Aura?

"Yes...a certain feel to it. Flowers give off a nice homey feeling, is what I meant." *Dazzled by his contagious grin, Roslyn glanced away shyly, her cheeks heating somewhat.* ' Merlin, I probably look like an empty headed first year. ' She chided herself mentally.
"It's a little stuffy in here isn't it?" *Fanning herself, Roslyn set her drink down thinking perhaps it was the alcohal.*

Flourish and Blotts, though? What're you doing after that?
*Glances around the pub, admitting the atmosphere is a bit stuffier than usual.*
It's a tad stuffy in here, maybe.
*Mentally swats himself, sounding like a nutter with that statement*
And I think flowers give a 'homey feel' and such, but I'd rather use 'em for healing potions, or other healing ingredients.

*Nodding in understanding, Roslyn bit her lip lightly; again slipping into a thoughtful state* "I haven't actually made a firm decision on leaving my job. But I would probably become a professor at Hogwarts if I did. Arithmency, Defence against the Dark Arts or something."
*A frown came to her face* "My life feels rather pointless at the moment. It's kind of pathetic actually...twenty years old, and no idea what to do with myself. Yet as a teen, I was so sure what path I wanted to take. Where I would end up..." *She shook her head, a heavy sigh escapeing*

*Nods, wishing he himself could be a professor at Hogwarts- Herbology preferrably.*
Well, are they needing teachers now, this far into the first semester?
*Shakes his head now, at one of her comments*
No one's life is pathetic.
*Narrows eyes, looking down at the table top*
Well, unless you're a bloody git and a Death Eater...
*Looks back up at Roslyn with a curious expression*
You've always wanted to be a...?
*Grins*
C'mon, say it!

"Enough about me, Neville. What about you?' *Roslyn inturrupted gently.* They had spent a majority of the time talking about her and her life. She wanted to know more about Neville now, finding her life to be boreing anyway.
"What have you done since Hogwarts?"

*Raises one eyebrow in curiousity, wondering why she kept skipping over the question*
*Takes another drink, using the time again to think of how much he should say, being a friend of Harry's and all*
I, er, wanted to be Herbology Professor, but since Snape's Headmaster, I know he'd never let me teach.
So, for now, I'm looking for a job I guess.
*Runs one hand through his hair sheepishly, wanting to hex himself for suddenly- or ever since Roslyn sat next to him- losing his ability to talk to witches.*

"I think you should apply for the position of teaching Herbology next year. Despite having Snape as Headmaster. You never know... he just might give you the position." Roslyn was well aware that the former Professor had been far more horrible to Gryffindors dureing her years at Hogwarts, than any other house. But his attitude shouldn't stop Neville from fulfilling his dream.
"If all should go wrong, I'm certain there are other magical schools that can offer a position in Herbology....don't give up Neville." *Roslyn smiled encouragingly*
