*Daisy couldn't help but grin a little at his shy movements, but she nodded a little in response to his words, glancing around.*
Yea... I still have a few enclosures to clean tonight, but then if no more customers come in I'll lock up.
*She couldn't help but grin back as she nodded, thinking of the idea of seeing him later tonight.*
Sounds wonderful, see you then.

*He smiles again and almost trips over his own feet as he steps backwards.*
Brilliant. I will see you soon then.
*He gives a small wave while he backs towards the door, and slides it open, smiling warmly once more before he slips out.*

*He arrives on the night of the ball at the Mansion wearing a smart suit, hoping to see Daisy and ask her to come along with him as he had failed to meet up with her before.*
*He sticks his face against the window but doesn't see her, so shyly walks on.*
*He then has a second thought and quickly pens a note and slips it under the door, in case she finds it.*
Hi Daisy,
Sorry I havn't been around.
Was hoping to ask you to be my 'plus one' at the Malfoy's ball but didn't see you.
If you get this note I hope you will come up to see me.
Ken
*As he walks on up the road he wonders if he had worded it right.*

*Many days had passed since Ken left his note, and Daisy had not received it. Though one day, while she was tending to her animals, she saw an odd slip of paper that one of the kittens was playing with. She stroked the kitten in a distraction, before scooping up the paper, her eyes scanning it quickly. She gasped in surprise and winced, glancing at the clock. Oh great... She had not heard of the ball, how she did not, none would know, but she was rather oblivious... Well she would move quickly, grabbing her cloak and heading for the door, heading to Ken's work place.*

::He'd admit it. He had hurt her... pretty bad. And he just need to tell her it was for her own good. Walking cautiously into the shop, he ws nearly knocked back by the noise of the place. Not seeing Daisy at first, he walked around the shop glancing at the animals. His thoughts were one by one throwing themselves around in his head. He was actually at a loss of words. He didn't quite know what he wanted to say to the witch but he was gonna give it a shot.::

*Evelyn walked into the shop. She was looking for a kitten. She walked to the counter.*
Hello, I would like to have a kitten. As young as you can go, please. And, um, how about a black cat with white on its belly. And I'd like to have a female kitten, if you can.
*She waited for the person behind the counter to digest what she said.*

Daisy stood quietly behind the counter. The last few months had whizzed by in a blur. She had been so confused... So lost. After the New Years Eve party and after Venus' fail wedding... And after everything that had been happening, she had all but withdrawn into herself. She didn't do anything to socialize, she simply came to work, went home, and dissapeared... And yet it seemed lately that the young witch had started to come out of it...
She looked up as Evelyn came into the shop, the little bell ringing and alerting all the animals, who began chittering excitedly. Daisy smiled warmly to her as she came up to the counter.
"Hello and welcome to Magical Menagerie..."
She said lightly with a smile before listening intently to her words. She grinned broadly as she heard her request, such a kitten springing into mind. She nodded with a bright smile to her.
"I think I have just who you want..."
She would move to where the kittens were kept for the most part and peered inside, grinning as she found the kitten she had in mind. She would lean over and pluck it up from it's peers, stroking a few of them gently, before cradling the kitten in her arms and wandering back over to Evelyn.
"How about this little one? She's very sweet, but beware, she is rather playful and curious as all cats are..."
She giggled a little and offered the tiny kit to Evelyn. She would glance up while she waited for the girl to take the kitten, suddenly seeing Caius. She tensed up slightly. She had been refusing to speak with him as she did with everyone... What was he doing here... But she would go along helping Evelyn with finding her companion for the time being.
(Sorry this took forever guys! I've been so crazy busy again and being quite the flake... Going to try to do better, I promise! Much <3.)

::A blast of heat went through his body as Daisy's and his eyes met. Suddenly he forgot why he was even here. He had to make it up to her. He had been a jerk. Though she seemed to have just disappeared. He roamed the shop waiting for her to finish up with her customer so they could talk.::

*enters the little shop, dressed in a hair of lank, black robes and a satin black cloak, feeling very depressed*
*stands next to a small girl, who is starring at a baby owl*
*smiles at her*
Owls are good. I'm here to get myself a pet too. A few weeks ago mine...
*the little girl runs off*
Why do I scare them away? Why? What on earth do I do to deserve... *rambleramble*
*wanders along the row of owls, feeling like a total failure*
Oh this is terribly pathetic.
*kneels down in front of a little cage with a small kitten inside*
Well hello there friend.

*Is always, it seems, in need of owl nuts, and finds himself popping into the Menagerie, hoping to get out quickly.*
*Mumbles to himself.*
Gonna be stuck with a fat, useless owl the longer I keep this up.
*Flicks his eyes over the cages of other animals, not interested in any what so ever, as he wanders toward the owls, and the owl nuts.*
*Spots a blonde witch peering into a cage, and automatically answers her greeting that was meant for the owl.*
Hullo there to you.
*Grins warmly, glancing to the owl.*

*looks up to see a very interesting fellow looking at her*
*smiles sadly and stands up*
Oh hello to you too.
*holds out hand in a very business like manner*
I'm Anna. And you're an owl?
*tilts her head to the side*

Hoot?
*Shrugs, slightly embarrassed for speaking out of turn, and grins, taking her hand in his.*
Christian.
*Pumps the witch's hand lightly before pulling his own back.*
Don' know what came over me there. Sorry.
*Grins, glancing over Anna with slight approval, taking noticed of her sad little smile. His vanishes the second it arrived as he tries to get a sense of the witch, what could make her seemingly sad.*
*Jokes lightly, wondering if it would perk her up a tad.*
Luckily I'm no owl though. Hate to be trapped up in a cage all bloody day.

*matches his grin when he makes his little joke, glancing at him for a moment, and continuing to smile once she saw what a nice looking fellow he was*
Lovely to meet you Christian. And don't worry about it.
*as her smile faded, and she listened to Christian second joke of their conversation, she gave him a little eye roll and put her hands in the pockets of her cloak*
That's true. So, what brings you here?

Erm... Owl nuts?
*Bobs his head, for a moment the reason for his coming here had escaped him, but he quickly remembered.*
Yeah, owl nuts. Lucinda seems to live off only those blasted things. I don't think she fancies mice all that much.
*Shrugs, not too concerned, though these little errands to the Menagerie seems to becoming more and more frequent.*
*Covertly, he eyes the witch, taking in the fact she is very pretty.*
You? What brought you in?

Well that's sweet. I have an owl too. That's a pretty name for an owl, though, Lucinda.
*finds it odd that she is making such casual conversation without spazzing out like a lunatic*
Oh, well, I have an owl too, actually. Her name is Alea. But I'm not here for her.
*says all this in a very somber manner*
I had a pygmy puff as well, but she died. That's why I'm here, I suppose.
*looks down, feeling rather sad and confused*
It's been a few months though, and I was looking to get another pet. But I'm not particularly sure where I want to start.
