I did not start the reserve in Romania, it has been there for decades before I began vorking. I just vanted to make a difference. There vere so many dragons being killed unnecessarily, and I found that I could communicate vith them and help people. Somehow, I know vot they are feeling. I do not know how I got this ability.

Ah... What is your Favourite part of working with dragons?

[Bojan Vladislav]

I like to look after injured dragons until they are better to be released. I also love it ven a dragon hatches - it is a vonderful thing to see. Have you even seen a dragon hatching?

**offers her more brandy**

No, I cannot say that I have. Would you care to describe it? I'm sure our readers would be very interested.

Vell... it is a slow process. The first crack can appear a few veeks before it hatches. Then, the little dragon pierces the bottom of the egg vere the shell is veaker vith his or her claw. If it is a Longhorn, they are known to pierce the shell vith one of their horns. They come out very defensive, they vill see a creature bigger than them and think that you are prey, so they vill breathe their small flame at you.
**laughs**

But it is only a small flame, since they are so small ven they hatch. It is quite a sight. They then find their mother and bond. If the mother is not there, they can get confused and vicious.

If you had to choose, which is your favourite breed of dragon?

[Bojan Vladislav]

I love both the Antipodean Opaleye and the Romanian Longhorn the most. For different reasons. The Opaleye is mild and more good natured than most other species. The Longhorn is the most intelligent and their gold horns are beautiful.

**pours himself another brandy**

How do you feel about the use of dragons for potion ingredients and clothing? Do you believe it cruel?

[Bojan Vladislav]

**sighs and thinks for a moment**

I do not like it, you know. I can see vhy they need the ingredients for potions, it is very valuable - the blood, the liver, the heartstrings and so on. I have managed to pass an act under IPOD that states that no dragon under the age of thirty years old is to be slain for this use. I am currently trying to get a law passed that makes it illegal to take ingredients from any live and healthy dragons. I have not been able to get the law passed in any of the governments so far, but I am very determined to do it.

I totally agree. If you like I can put a petition in my magazine to raise awareness, and perhaps spur the government into action.
