Main Plot Part II: The Elder Wand
Intro:
'I... I don't know! I've...told you... all I know!' the voice rasped desperately.
Voldemort tightened his grip around the writhing man's neck before dropping him on the hard stone floor in a crumpled heap.
Then you are worthless to me now.
AVADA KEDAVRA!

A pain seared through Harry's scar as Voldemort reeled in deep fury that he did not manage to extract all the information he needed.
Even using Veritserum & the Cruciatus Curse, he only wrangled the name 'Gregorovich' from Ollivander, but no locations... no other updates on the whereabouts of the last Hallow.
He already had been searching for Gregorovich for months, concluding that he must know he was being hunted and had gone on the run for fear of his life.
Voldemort was fast running out of patience. He was just going to have to search harder.
To come:
Now, Voldemort, still full of outrage at Harry double-crossing and his failed plan for him, has had to continue his original plan of destroying Harry once and for all. After all, the Prophecy did say 'One could not survive while the other lives'. Voldemort strongly believes it is destiny that Harry must die.
To ensure his own victory, Voldemort is pursuing the legendary Hallows - the owner of all three Hallows can master death.
Unfortunately, Voldemort himself gave Harry one of the Hallows, the Ressurection Stone, to tempt him into joining the dark side. Now that Harry has escaped the clutches of Voldemort, he has taken the Hallow with him and is becoming dangerously emotionally attached to it - it provides him with comfort and hope that he finds nowhere else.
Voldemort also does not know that Harry also posesses the second Hallow, the Invisibility Cloak. The third Hallow, Voldemort considers the most powerful - the Elder Wand. Legend claims no duel can be lost with the Elder Wand and so Voldemort considers finding it of greatest importance in defeating Harry.
Voldemort will leave the Death Eaters with the task of finding Harry and incarcerating him in Novus Universitus (Azkaban - see part 1 of plot) and weakening him emotionally and physically, while he goes to search for the Elder Wand. Upon his return as master of the wand, he can take Harry's life securely and efficiently. But as you know by now, things don't always go to plan...
For Harry, this means things will go from bad to worse.
Not only is he being hunted by the furious Death Eaters, who he double-crossed, he is also facing the wrath of the rest of the Wizarding World as reports spread about his betrayal and turn to Dark Wizardry, and the mark of Voldemort clearly on his arm. It has become the most talked about subject everywhere, and there are very few who defend him still. All press are hankering his old school friends and associates for interviews and information about Harry, who now appears to be in hiding.
However, Harry's news of his return to the good side has yet to be heard by most, and if they do hear of it then most do not believe it or they no longer trust him.
The Ministry release a series of statements insisting that Harry has NOT turned into a Death Eater, or indeed Voldemort's right hand man and dismissing the rumours as propaganda and gossip-mongering. But soon, after an incident involving the Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour, the Ministry are forced to initiate a warrant of arrest for Harry.
Despite all of this, the biggest heartbreak Harry is enduring is loosing the trust of his friends who he has humiliated and alienated with his treacherous acts. One of the most shocking acts was performing the Cruciatus Curse on Hermoine Granger, one of his best friends.
The mark on his arm also causes him a huge amount of fresh pain as Voldemort attempts to erase it from his arm gradually as he realises Harry can use the mark to enter and leave Novus Universitas at will, and have an element of control over the Death Eaters if he ever manages to harness its powers. It constantly bleeds and becomes an open wound that he has to keep tightly bandaged.
During this immense physical pain and emotional turmoil, Harry must not lose his mind to the Resurrection Stone. He is still hiding it from his friends, (as he does not want it shared for fear someone might take it from him*) who discover that he has it by accident. He then will be forced to show it to them and they together figure out the truth of the Hallows of which Hermione had already disregarded as a fictional bedtime story. Harry also promises them to continue his search for the remaining Horcruxes. Eventually they become convinced that they have the old Harry back, but he will have to work harder to prove himself to the Ministry and the rest of the Wizarding World.
As another high profile murder shocks the Wizarding World, Harry must seek to redeem himself as quickly as possible before he ends up a prisoner in either the Ministry or Voldemort's Azkaban, Novus Universitas.
Discovering the true master of the Elder Wand however does not come without its complications and confusion ensues over its rightful owner. Will Voldemort make yet another misjudgement in his urgency to murder Harry and in his main weakness - his lack of insight?
Will Voldemort return to find the Death Eaters have succeeded or failed their task of bringing Harry to Novus Universitas?
Stick around in MM 2009 and you may find out!

Notes
The remaining Horcruxes:
2 are kept in the safe and secure Novus Universitas (Nagini and Ravenclaw's diadem - the diadem was stolen by DEs who broke into Hogwarts during the End of Year Ball)
3 destroyed: Slytherin's locket (yet to be discovered), Tom Riddle's diary, and Gaunt's ring.
1 in the Lestrange's vault in Gringotts (Hufflepuff's cup)
1 is unaccounted for by Voldemort.
Extended Plots:
1. A tiny seed of hope remains with a few of Harry's old school friends. However, the hope is not inspired by Harry this time, but the hope of a better, safer world without fear and in the memory of Dumbledore.
Harry's school friends (excluding Hermione & Ron as they're still struggling with Harry's deceit, though they still want Auror training) reform a new Dumbledore's Army - without Harry as their leader. Suggested leaders are the Weasley Twins or Neville Longbottom with Ginny and Seamus playing important roles. They are helped secretly by Minerva McGonagall whose determination is fuelled by fears Hogwarts will be soon controlled by Death Eaters and safety of students is severely compromised. She does not want to feel as if she has let down Dumbledore.
2. Harry has access to Novus Universitas at will because his mark still allows him to up to a point, before it becomes too deep a wound.
3. Harry also has the Invisibility cloak, so he can appear in N.U. undetected.
4. Inadvertently, Voldemort has increased the power of Harry's Patronus by giving him the Resurrection stone, as the sight of his loved ones has increased the power of the memory of happiness and love. This means Harry can potentially reach Azkaban externally and hold back the thousands of Dementors that swarm the area for a significant amount of time. This could be useful if ever there was to be a battle at N.U. and he needs to let Aurors enter.
5. The Taboo on Voldemort's name comes into play at some point in the near future as Voldemort wants the DEs to wipe out anyone who does not fear to speak his name, and therefore does not fear him.
6. Snape considers recruiting Death Eaters to teach at Hogwarts (suggestions - Carrows or Rookwood) and continues Death Eater training in the Chamber of Secrets.
