How are you finding the handmaiden applicant, Miss Bates?
I think I have been rather over-generous with her time allowance for her last task, I do hope she has taken good advantage!
I like her, though I fear she needs to relax a little - she's a nervous little thing. Nevertheless, she's pretty and makes good drinks and seems to be trustworthy.
Shall we keep her on for a probationary period?

We also have another nice young applicant who speaks French no less, I have high hopes!

From what I have seen I have been pleased, she seems eager to please and quite conscientious.

I would agree with a probationary period, I see no reason why not and I can keep a further eye on her. Can't be too careful!

And I would keep it at that for now, cannot seem to eager, french speaking or not!
