Dear Professor Snape,
Perhaps you remember me; Anthony Brown. I was in your Hufflepuff potions class a few years ago when I was at Hogwarts. You'll be glad to know I followed your advice and have now newly qualified as a healer at St Mungo's. However, I'm looking to broaden my horizons and when I noticed you were applying for a Hogwarts Healer, I just knew I needed to write to you.
If you will have me, I would just love to return to Hogwarts; this time as a member of staff. As you know, I was always a little clumsy while I was at school and Madam Pomfrey always used to fix me up a treat. Now I'm qualified, I'd like to be able to give back to the school whatever I can.

*reads the letter scowling at the appalling informality of it and vaguely recalls the boy who had written it, sure that he had not liked him in the least and if he had given him advice it was surely in sarcasm*
*sighs and sends a return owl grudgingly as they were very much in need of a healer. So he would at least give the fool an interview*

I am willing to give you an interview for the position you seek. Please send me a return owl to let me know when you are able to come to Hogwarts and I will confirm if I am available.

Thank you so much for this oppertunity. I'm free tonight, or tomorrow night, or sunday night, or monday night, etc. The only days I can't do are Friday and Saturday.
