*It's Livvie's first time alone in Hogsmeade, and her nerves are at a breaking point. So many things that she has to remember in this new world, although she has been going to school at Hogwarts for the past six years, this is something entirely different.*
*She strolls lightly along the streets of Hogsmeade, eyes darting in every direction at all the different shops, and people. Sure not to look at anything or anyone for too long though, she's afraid that doing something like that will only land her trouble.*

-There hadn't been much to do all day long except sit at a lonely table in The Three Broomsticks. Colin kept glancing down into his reflection in a butterbeer as if he was scrying for some mystical message from the great beyond.-
-But no matter how much he hoped to see a glimps into his future, he just couldn't shake certain thoughts from his head long enough to concentrate.-
-It was no use. He couldn't get Livvie out of his thoughts. But she wasn't anywhere around. Finally, Colin give up on trying to wish hard enough for her to appear and just drink the rest of his butterbeer. After gulping down the last of the liquid, Colin got up to leave.-

*The Broomsticks comes into sight as she wanders along looking at all the sights. She has seen this village a few times before while the students were allowed to escape the stone walls of the castle, but this is definitely a new perspective on things while walking alone.*
*Growing tired of just strolling along without anyone to chat with, Livvie makes a bee line for the pub. She lifts her hands to pull out her hair that is tucked under the collar of her robes, and enjoys the breeze that blows through it, giving her the shivers.*
*Upon nearing the pub she spots a wizard that looks so similar to Colin it causes butterflies in her stomach to start fluttering with a frenzy.*
Merlin, he looks just like Col...
*Heart skips a beat when she realizes it is indeed Colin, the wizard she has recently become quite smitten with. She picks up her pace, and tries to catch him before he can get too far.*
Oi! Colin.
*She calls ahead, hoping with every fiber of her being that he hears her.*

-Lost in the thoughts that have recently been preoccupying his mind so much, Colin tucked his hands into his trouser pockets and headed off down the street.-
-He didn't have any particular destination in mind, it was just kind of nice to get out in the fresh air.-
"Who knows," He thought. "Maybe I could run into Livvie."
-That thought brought a smile to his face. He'd been thinking about her so much that sometimes he thought he could see those icy blue eyes of hers gleaming with a brilliant smile at him in every face he saw. And sometimes he could hear the music of her voice playing inside his head everywhere he went. But it wasn't really her. He knew that.-
-Colin barely heard his name being called from behind him. He thought it sounded like Livvie, but then again, he'd heard her voice in his head so much lately that he dismissed it as a fluke. But something just seemed different this time.-
Hang on. He paused to get his thoughts in order. That couldn't have been my imagination this time.
-He turned around to scan the area for the voice that belonged to those enchanting eyes.-

*As she rushes toward Colin she spots that he has turned around. Beaming brightly as her icy blue eyes land on his face she raises a hand over head to wave, and draw his attention.*
Colin! Over here!
*Calls out as she slips around a group of lolly-gagging young witches to get closer to him, her arm still waving.*

-Colin beams with delight to see that it really was Livvie. With a huge grin on his face, he waves back at her just as enthusiastically.-
Livvie!
-He starts walking towards Livvie to meet her half way. His heart races with thoughts of whether or not he should risk giving her a hug.-
Oh, to hell with it.
-Colin is just so excited to see her again that he lost all desire to be shy in front of the girl he was secretly holding a torch in his heart for. As soon as they met up, he gave her a big friendly hug. Holding her in his arms just a little too long perhaps, but he just couldn't help himself. It just felt too good to have his arms around her.-
-Realizing that he lingered a little too long on that hug, Colin quickly released her and took a step back to figure out what he was going to say.-
What brings you to Hogsmeade? Doing a bit of shopping?

*Livvie's smile grows even bigger as Colin calls out her name, and starts to walk toward her. Somehow she manages to slow her pace down some, all she wants to do is run up to him, and throw her arms around his neck to hug him tightly.*
*Is swept into Colin's arms as soon as they meet. She squeals with joy, wrapping her arms around his neck, her heart pounding itself into a mad frenzy. There isn't anything that could have made day better.*
*Doesn't even notice how long they embraced, only how good it felt to be in his arms, and how much she wished he wouldn't let go. He does, and she frowns inwardly as he takes a step backward.*
I haven't got that far yet. I've been too preoccupied with looking around at all the sights.
*Giggling, Livvie takes a few steps toward him.*
It's the first time I've been allowed to be in Hogsmeade alone.
What about you, what have brings you out?

-Colin was still trying to calm his excitement after holding Livvie in his arms when he heard her give out a little giggle and step closer towards him. His thoughts races with wonderment as he gazed into her pretty face and those beautiful eyes of hers.-
-He blushed just slightly as his shyness tried to take it's hold of him once again. But how could he not feel excitement just to be around her? Deep down inside, Colin didn't want to be shy around her. He didn't want to feel foolish. All the other boys he knew that fancied a girl made it all looks so easy. He couldn't understand why it was so hard to just tell her that he liked her . . . a lot.-
-Colin bit the inside of his lip to keep himself from giving into a shy pattern of behavior. If he really did like her, he'd just have to show it to her.-
Oh? First time here alone eh? How are you liking it so far?
I was just having a bit of a walk about myself.
You wouldn't care to join me. . . would you?

*It is as if the world is standing still, and he is the only person within miles of her. She doesn't take notice of anything but how adorable Colin looks standing there. The way his the sun is shinning in his hair, and his eyes.., oh his eyes.*
*Just when her heart slowed she had the thoughts of how much she liked him, and it started hammering madly again. How does she let him know how much she likes him without looking like a silly little fool?*
*Squeals again when asked if she would join him. She restrains herself from hopping up and down excitedly, and simply beams, her eyes sparkling.*
Of course, I'd love to.
*Closes the gap between them with another small step.*
I really enjoy the freedom I've been allowed, no one to tell me where I can or cannot go. It's nice, but now that I have you for company it'll be great.
*Blushes, afraid she has admitted too much.*

-Colin's heart nearly skipped a beat when he heard her accept his offer. He even tensed up just a tiny bit when Livvie took another step closer to him. But it only took one look at her eyes for him to find his courage again.-
Well, then. . . , -He gave her his best smile and bowed politely- the day is yours M'Lady. Where would you like to go first?
-He just hoped that he didn't look like a fool showing her that side of him. But still, he couldn't help himself. He wanted her to know that he liked her enough to be respectful, no matter how old fashioned it was.-

*Giggles at his gentlemanly behavior. Livvie curtsies in a proper low curtsy, cheeks flush with happiness.*
Well, good sir, I think I should like to visit the Quidditch supply shop first, if you don't mind of course.
*Weaves her arm around his, glancing up at him with wide eyes, tucking a stray strand of snow white hair behind her ear.*
I need a new pair of gloves, mine are worn through from the Quaffle, and my broom handle.*

-Putting on a playful air of refinement, Colin stands up to his full height and smiles brightly down at Livvie.-
If that is what the Lady wishes to do, then so shall it be done!
-Colin wasn't sure just where he was getting getting all this courage from, but there it was.-
It must be those bewitching eyes of hers. -His thoughts mused happily to himself. As he felt like he could do anything in her presents.-
Shall we my Dear?

*Her head bobs eagerly, his smile causing her stomach to flip.*
Merlin, his smile is sooo handsome.
*Livvie can hardly tear her eyes away from his face to be able to walk down the street. She doesn't bother with even trying, allowing him to lead her instead.*
I'm shot about the End of the Year Feast cancellation, but I suppose with all the goings on, and everything.
Have you plans for the summer, yet? Perhaps we can get meet over the holiday. My parents are going to allow me to go into Diagon Alley a few weeks into the holiday, they're even going to let me stay a the Leaky!
*Starts to ramble, her nerves taking hold of her, and in that situation she just prattles off about anything and everything.*
*Grip on his arm tightens as she continues to gaze admiringly at him.*

-The more Colin listens to Livvie going on about this and that, the more at ease he begins to feel. Both he and his brother Dennis could talk the ears off of a fly back at home. It's a wonder that their parents never went insane between the two of them.-
-But as much as Colin was feeling at ease, he also realized that it wasn't the same as how he and Dennis would chatter. With Dennis, everything they each said sparked some new twist and turn to the conversation. Sometimes they would overlap each other from blurting out anything that came to the top of their heads.-
-No, it wasn't like that with Livvie at all. Colin was just so entranced by her that he could listen to her all day without ever having a desire to interrupt or change the subject all together. Livvie was just so fascinating that sometimes he got lost just getting caught up in her voice and would have to stop and think about what she had just said in order to answer any questions she may have asked.-
oh, hang on. Um. . . , not sure what kind of plans we have for the summer holiday yet.
-It was more likely that he'd just forgotten any premade plans because all he could think about was Livvie.-

*Smiles a bit sadly, yet understands that others usually have their holidays chock full of events. She just wishes that it was going to be that way for her. Usually she goes along with her family to the mountains for a bit of camping, hiking, fishing, and good family fun. Those trips were always the best, her brother often caught the biggest fish, and her sister would sing the sweetest songs around the campfire. Livvie is so involved in her memories she can actually hear the water of a nearby creek flowing, and smell the fresh caught fish cooking over the fire. Her eyes glaze over with the memory a soft smile playing on her lips.*
*Snaps out of her memory, glancing apologetically up at Colin, cheeks turning pink from embarrassment.*
Sorry.., got lost in thought for a moment.
Maybe we'll see each other in Diagon Alley when the time comes to go shopping for next term's supplies. Oh! I can't wait to see the list. I'll be getting a new cauldron for potions, and hopefully a new set of scales to match.
*Slides her hand down his arm to his hand, weaving her fingers through his, her eyes dancing excitedly.*
Perhaps I'll talk mum and dad into buying me a new broom for Quidditch, I'll need a faster one, mine's outdated. Ooo! Look!
*Points at the window to Honeydukes.*
Deluxe Sugar Quills.
